Remarks on correlated error tests

  • The Durbin-Watson (DW) test in regression model and the Ljung-Box (LB) test in ARMA (autoregressive moving average) model are typical examples of correlated error tests. The DW test is used for detecting autocorrelation of errors using the residuals from a regression analysis. The LB test is used for specifying the correct ARMA model using the first some sample autocorrelations based on the residuals of a tted ARMA model. In this article, simulations with four data generating processes have been carried out to evaluate their performances as correlated error tests. Our simulations show that the DW test is severely dependent on the assumed AR(1) model but isn't sensitive enough to reject the misspecified model and that the LB test reports lackluster performance in general.

휠 차량의 내구 시험장 조성을 위한 매개변수 연구 (A Parametric Study for the Construction of Durability Test Track of a Wheel Type Vehicle)

  • For the design and development of the wheel type excavator, the dynamic effects of travelling on the performance of the equipment should be first analyzed and conside- red in the initial design stage. In order to test the durability of the equipment in a short period, th travelling test should be performed over accelerated durability test tracks. which is more severe than general field roads such as city road, paved road, unpaved road and rough road. In this paper, a parametric study is performed in order to determine important design parameters of durability test track of a wheel type excavator. A rigid body model is developed using DADS and dynamic analysis is performed for the equipment travelling over several test roads with different severity. A comparison of test and analysis results is also presented.

  • Modal parameters of a structure are the important factor to control the missile maneuver. In general, a dummy structure is used for the modal test of missile structure instead of the real warhead and propellant because there may be the danger of a explosion by the electric shock of test equipment, such as the exciter and the power amplifier. However, the modal testing of a real missile structure is required to acquire the modal parameters and to analyze the missile performance accurately. The new test system and technique are developed to get rid of the danger and secure the safety during the testing. This test system is made of with the computer network system and controlled remote from test site. Using His new test system, the modal test of real missile structure is performed successfully and its validity is proven.

  • Small-scaled Rotor Test facility(GSRTS, General Small-scaled Rotor Test Facility) in KARI could not use the test because facility aging and parts discontinued. Also in order to perform a joint international research, GSRTS modifications should be needed. So requirements of GSRTS modifications were established and according to the requirements, GSRTS modifications were conducted. Facility operation test, 6-component fixed balance calibration, Small-scaled OLS rotor performance test were performed to verify the results of GSRTS modifications. Reasonable results were obtained in comparison to calculation results. Then GSRTS ready was completed to conduct international collaborative research and wind tunnel test.

An Advanced Fault Diagnosis System

  • This paper present an advanced fault diagnosis expert system to assist the operators at local control center. The system utilizes all th information available in a local control center for the better diagnostic performance. The major feature of the system is dealing with multiple faults diagnosis based on the certainty factor method for the reasoning process. the overall performance and the generality are also enhanced by utilizing the general topological knowledge. ASCADA simulator is also developed for he test and demonstration.

유리섬유 복합재료를 이용한 화재 비상통로용 스크린 소재 성능에 관한 연구 (The Korea Academia-Industrial cooperation Society)

  • 초고층 복합시설은 수많은 사람들이 이용하고 있는 도심의 핵심시설로서 안전성을 최우선으로 하고 있으며, 화재발생 시 연기와 유독가스는 대형사고를 유발할 수 있다. 본 연구는 초고층 복합시설물에서 화재에 의한 재난이 발생했을 경우, 피난자들이 신속히 안전한 곳으로 피할 수 있는 비상 대피통로용 접이장치에 적용되는 섬유 스크린 소재를 개발하는 데 목적이 있다. 섬유 스크린 소재 개발 방향은 일반적으로 사용되는 철제 소재와 달리 접이장치 내 롤형태로 장기간 보관 시 하중 부담이 적은 경량일 것과 차염/차연 기능이 우수해야 하며 복사열에 의한 피난자의 영향이 적어야 할 것이다. 이에 대해 난연성이 우수한 원단과 후가공을 조건으로 3종의 섬유 스크린 소재를 선정하여 열수축시험, 접촉열시험, 연소성시험, 난연도시험, 인장강도시험, 인열강도시험을 통해 성능평가를 수행하였다. 그 결과 경량의 원단이라도 후가공을 통해 우수한 성능을 발휘할 수 있으며, 실리콘수지 코팅이 섬유 스크린 소재 성능과 복사열에 의한 대피자의 안전을 확보할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 따라 무게와 두께가 상이한 유리섬유 2종과 난연 실리콘수지 4종을 대상으로 코팅을 한 후 연소성시험을 수행하여 최적의 후가공조건을 평가하였다.

전륜 인휠모터 후륜구동 차량의 선회 특성 변형을 위한 요모멘트 제어 (Yaw Moment Control for Modification of Steering Characteristic in Rear-driven Vehicle with Front In-wheel Motors)

  • This paper presents yaw moment control for modification of steering characteristic in rear-driven vehicle with front in-wheel motors (IWMs). The proposed control algorithm is designed to modify yaw rate response of the test vehicle. General approach for modification of steering characteristic is to define the desired yaw rate and track the yaw rate. This yaw rate tracking method can cause the chattering problem because of the IWM actuator response. Large overshoot and settling time in IWM torque response can amplify the oscillation in control input and yaw rate. To resolve these problems, open-loop IWM controller for cornering agility was designed to modify the understeer gradient of the vehicle. The proposed algorithm has been investigated via the computer simulations and the vehicle tests. The performance evaluation has been conducted on dry asphalt using E-segment test vehicle. The performance of the proposed algorithm has been compared to general yaw rate tracking algorithm in the vehicle tests. It has been shown that the proposed control law improved the cornering agility without chattering problem.

간호대학생의 임상실습 만족도와 임상수행능력과의 관계 (The Relationship between Satisfaction with Clinical Practice and Clinical Performance Ability for Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 임상실습 후 임상실습 만족도와 임상수행능력을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사 연구이다. 연구대상자는 A대 간호학과 학생으로 임상실습을 경험한 3, 4학년 학생 전수인 118명 이었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/PC+ ver. 21을 이용하여 빈도, 평균, 표준편차, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson's Correlation Coefficients로 분석하였다. 연구결과로, 대상자의 임상실습 만족도는 5점 만점에 3.36점, 임상수행능력은 5점 만점에 3.42점으로 나타났다. 임상실습 만족도의 하위영역은 교과만족이 가장 높고, 임상수행능력의 하위영역은 교육/협력관계가 가장 높게 나타났다. 대상자 특성에 따른 임상실습 만족도는 건강상태(F=3.896, p=.023), 대학생활 만족도(F=8.164, p<.001), 간호학 전공만족도(F=4.652, p=.011), 임상실습 여건만족도(F=11.889, p<.001), 임상실습량에 대한 만족도(F=13.504, p<.001)에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 대상자의 특성에 따른 임상수행능력은 종교(t=6.682 p=.011), 대학생활 만족도(F=3.440, p=.035)에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 간호 대학생의 임상실습 만족도와 임상수행능력(r=.297, p=.001) 간에는 양의 상관관계를 나타냈다.

Experimental evaluation of an inertial mass damper and its analytical model for cable vibration mitigation

  • Cables are prone to vibration due to their low inherent damping characteristics. Recently, negative stiffness dampers have gained attentions, because of their promising energy dissipation ability. The viscous inertial mass damper (termed as VIMD hereinafter) can be viewed as one realization of the inerter. It is formed by paralleling an inertial mass part with a common energy dissipation element (e.g., viscous element) and able to provide pseudo-negative stiffness properties to flexible systems such as cables. A previous study examined the potential of IMD to enhance the damping of stay cables. Because there are already models for common energy dissipation elements, the key to establish a general model for IMD is to propose an analytical model of the rotary mass component. In this paper, the characteristics of the rotary mass and the proposed analytical model have been evaluated by the numerical and experimental tests. First, a series of harmonic tests are conducted to show the performance and properties of the IMD only having the rotary mass. Then, the mechanism of nonlinearities is analyzed, and an analytical model is introduced and validated by comparing with the experimental data. Finally, a real-time hybrid simulation test is conducted with a physical IMD specimen and cable numerical substructure under distributed sinusoidal excitation. The results show that the chosen model of the rotary mass part can provide better estimation on the damper's performance, and it is better to use it to form a general analytical model of IMD. On the other hand, the simplified damper model is accurate for the preliminary simulation of the cable responses.

반경험적 공력 해석도구의 주날개-꼬리날개 간섭 효과 보정에 대한 연구 (Study on the Correction of a Wing-tail Interference Effect in a Semi-empirical Aerodynamic Analysis Tool)

  • 본 논문에서는 반경험적 해석도구를 이용하여 일반적인 형상의 꼬리날개 조종 유도무기의 공력 특성을 예측하고 그 결과를 보정하는 연구를 수행하였다. 반경험적 해석도구의 공력 특성 예측 결과를 풍동시험 결과와 비교하여 오차 원인을 확인하였으며, 반경험적 해석도구의 주요 오차 요인은 주날개-꼬리날개 간 간섭 성분임을 확인하였다. 반경험적 해석 결과를 풍동시험 결과와 전산해석 결과를 이용하여 보정하였으며, 보정된 데이터가 풍동시험 결과와 잘 일치함을 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통해 일반적인 꼬리날개 조종 유도무기의 공력 특성을 반경험적 해석도구를 이용하여 예측할 때 날개 간 간섭 성분 보정이 필요함을 확인하였다.
