The Study on the Application of Accurate Solar Tracking Algorithm by using LabVIEW (태양정밀추적 알고리즘의 LabVIEW 적용 연구)

  • There have been many developed systems for harnessing the solar energy such as solar water heaters, solar thermal power systems, PV systems, daylighting and solar hydrogen systems. all of them are capable of reducing $CO_2$ emission. However, the efficiency of those systems which work without a solar tracker is lower. This paper is a step by step procedure for fabrication and a performance test of a solar tracking system. The system developed in this study consists of motion controllers, motor drives, step-motors, feedback devices and application. CdS sensors are introduced into the solar tracking system for playing a primary role in poor conditions for tracking due to a gear backlash and a strong wind. Mini-dish was used as a concentrator for collecting sun light. The solar position data, in terms of azimuth and elevation, sunrise and sunset times was compared with those of KASI(Korea Astronomy & Space Science Institute). The results presented in this article provide the high accuracy of the present system in solar tracking and indicate a potential for energy savings.

A Study on Job Satisfaction, Working Environment and Turnover Intention of Dental Technicians in Daegu Area (대구지역 치과기공사의 직무만족 및 작업환경과 이직의도에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide basic data necessary for improvement by closely examining factors of having influence upon dental technicians' turnover. Questionnaire survey was conducted of 204 dental technicians who work at dental hospitals, clinics and dental laboratory rooms in Daegu area. The following conclusions were obtained. The satisfaction with job was high in job position in more than co-representative, in the whole and other task, and in less than 9 hours as for working hours. In the satisfaction with working environment, dissatisfaction was high in women, in the working career with 7~9 years, in chief level as for the job position in charge, in being responsible for porcelain in case of the duty field, and in more than 10 people as for the number of employees. The higher satisfaction with job satisfaction and working environment led to the lower turnover intention. Turnover intention was low in case of having ventilation fan & dust collector desk and in case of being well ventilated inside the workshop. As the above results, it is considered to be necessary for arranging institutional device of protecting dental technicians' health and reducing turnover through improving working environment such as forming comfortable environment of using the dust-collecting facilities and the ventilation facilities, wearing suitable individual protective gear and arranging the rest space.

  • In order to design and predict the performance of the harmonic side drive motor, it is necessary to analyze the torque generated by the structure. In this paper, an analytical model is proposed for design. Conformal mapping is used to model the capacitance and torque of the motor as a function of the rotor angular position with two-dimensional approximation. Then the result of conformal mapping analysis is verified with F.E.M result.

Efficient Method of Singular Value for Inverse Problem (역 문제에 대한 특이치 효율화)

  • This study proposed efficient method of singular value for inverse problem, linear approximation of contact position and loading in single and double meshing of transmission contact element, using 2-dimension model considered near the tooth by root stress. Determination of root stress is carried out for the gear tooth by finite element method and boundary element method. Boundary element discretization near contact point is carefully performed to keep high computational accuracy. The predicted results of boundary element method are good accordance with that of finite element method.

  • In this study, a spatial 3-dof haptic mechanism is implemented. The implemented mechanism does not employ the gear transmissions as velocity reducers for all three joints but uses wire-based transmissions, thereby it is able to minimize the frictions significantly. Also, by employing the structure of the four-bar mechanism to drive third joint from close to the base, the mechanism is able to minimize the inertia effect from the third actuator very effectively. Its kinematic analysis such as position and velocity analyses are performed first. Then, its operating software development, hardware implementation, and the related interfaces between a PC and the implemented Haptic device are completed. To evaluate its potential and its performance as a haptic device, a experiment generating a virtual constraint in a operational task space is conducted and preliminary results are discussed.

  • 본 논문에서는 자동차 시트 리클라이너 기어의 파인 블랭킹 성형 실험을 통하여 V-링 설치 위치에 따른 기어의 다이 롤 높이 변화를 검토하였다. 3 종류의 다이 편과 가이드 플레이트 편을 설계하여 파인 블랭킹 금형을 제작하였으며 650 ton 파인블랭킹 프레스에서 성형 실험을 수행하였다. 실험으로부터 제품을 취출하여 다이 롤 높이를 측정하여 분석한 결과 기어 모듈과 관계없이 V-링 설치 위치가 가이드 플레이트에서 멀어짐에 따라 다이 롤 높이가 증가함을 파악할 수 있었다. 이와 같은 결과는 향후 파인 블랭킹 금형의 V-링을 설계할 때 다이 롤 높이를 최소화하기 위하여 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • Since the linear step motor(LSM) has the merits which can be controlled the position and velocity by using the micro-computer and has no mechanical transducer such as belt and gear, it's usefullness has been fitted for the printer, x-y plotter, OA machinery and so on. In designing the LSM, we are faced up to the calculation of forces. in this paper, the permeance modeling method suited for the design of transverse flux type linear step motor(TFM) is presented and simulated.

  • Stabilized tracking platform in a missile consisting of a flat planar antenna, pitch/yaw gimbals, gear trains, and current controlled DC drive motors for pitch and yaw gimbal must have a capability to track a target as an inertial sensor in the presence of missile body motion such as maneuvering and vibration.   • In this paper, a high speed rotating arc sensor for automatic fillet welding is introduced. In order to track the welding seam, The high speed rotating arc sensor is used. The welding tip of a high speed rotating arc sensor rotates about 3000 rpm using DC motor. The rotating torch is driven by gear between welding torch body and wire guide. The welding current is measured by using the current sensor and rot at ing position sensor. To realize the welding seam tracking algorithm with accuracy, a software filter algorithm using the moving average method is applied to the measured welding current in the microprocessor. The welding mobile robot with two wheels and two sliders is developed for fillet welding. The welding mobile robot can control its traveling direction and turn itself around the corner. The effectiveness is proven through the experimental results conducted with varied fillet tracking patterns.

  • A flow-meter and its measurement controller was developed for a hydraulic system. This study, for development of positive displacement flow-meter, consist of PIC(Peripheral Interface Controller) controller with MR(Magneto-resistive) sensors. This flow-meter is used valve position indicator for valve control system by hydraulic. The MR sensors are used for the rotation of OVAL gear that detecting device. In the ship environments, consideration that necessary explosive proof. Thus electro device or electro flow-meter needs explosion design for electric circuit. We designed noncontact type flow-meter and evaluated the safety and measuring abilities.
