불규칙 가진되는 회전-고정보의 비선형응답특성 (Nonlinear Responses of a Hinged-Clamped Beam under Random Excitation)

  • 이 논문은 불규칙 가진력을 받는 회전-고정보의 비선형 응답특성을 나타낸다. 불규칙 가진력은 두 번째 고유모드의 절점과 최대변위점에 가했다. 비선형 편미분 방정식과 경계조건으로 표현되는 이 문제를 Galerkin의 방법을 이용하여 연립 비선형 상미분방정식으로 변환하였다. 이 상미분방정식으로부터 Fokker-Planck방정식과 모멘트 방정식을 얻은 후 Gaussian closure 방법 및 non-Gaussian closure 방법을 이용하여 3 모드 근사시 각각 27개 및 209개의 자율 상미분방정식을 구하였다. Gaussian closure 방법과 non-Gaussian closure 방법으로 2 모드 및 3 모드 근사해석을 수행하였고 해석적 결과들은 Monte Carlo 시뮬레이션 결과와 비교되었다. 해석결과 2 모드 근사해와 3 모드 근사해가 거의 일치하였고 2 모드 내부공진만 고려하여도 해석결과에 별 영향을 주지 않는다는 것을 알 수 있다.

  • The nonlinear response statistics of an spring-pendulum system with internal resonance under narrow band random excitation is investigated analytically- The center frequency of the filtered excitation is selected to be close to natural frequency of directly excited spring mode. The Fokker-Planck equations is used to generate a general first-order differential equation in the dynamic moment of response coordinates. By means of the Gaussian closure method the dynamic moment equations for the random responses of the system are reduced to a system of autonomous ordinary differential equations. The nonlinear phenomena, such as jump and multiple solutions, under narrow band random excitation were found by Gaussian closure method.

  • The quality of narrowband speech can be enhanced by the bandwidth extension technology. This paper proposes a mixed excitation and an energy compensation method based on Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM). First, we employ the mixed excitation model having both periodic and aperiodic characteristics in frequency domain. We use a filter bank to extract the periodicity features from the filtered signals and model them based on GMM to estimate the mixed excitation. Second, we separate the acoustic space into the voiced and unvoiced parts of speech to compensate for the energy difference between narrowband speech and reconstructed highband, or lowband speech, more accurately. Objective and subjective evaluations show that the quality of wideband speech reconstructed by the proposed method is superior to that by the conventional bandwidth extension method.

  • The nonlinear response statistics of an autoparameteric system under broad-band random excitation is investigated. The specific system examined is a vibration absorber system with internal resonance, which is known to be a good model for a variety of engineering systems, including ship motions with nonlinear coupling between pitching and rolling motions. The Fokker-Planck equations is used to generate a general first-order differential equation in the dynamic moment of response coordinates. By means of the Gaussian closure method the dynamic moment equations for the random responses of the system are reduced to a system of autonomous ordinary differential equations. The jump phenomenon was found by Gaussian closure method under random excitation.

  • 본 연구에서는 광대역 불규칙가진력을 받는 자기매계변수계의 모드상호작용을 고찰하였다. 고찰대상 모델은 매우 흔한 추조물의 형태인 내부공진을 갖는 자기매계변수 동흡진기이다. Gaussian closure 방법에 의하여 계의 불규칙 응답을 나타내는 통적 모멘트방정식은 1차 및 2차 모멘트로 구성된 자율 상미분방적식으로 줄여진다. 계의 평형해와 평형해의 안정성측면에서 계의 응답이 조사되었다. 참고문헌 [18]과 [20]에서 보고된 발견한 감쇠가 안정성을 축소하기도 한다라는 이 효과는 본 연구에서 발견할 수 없었다. 또한 확정적 비선형계에 존재하는 포화현상은 발견되지 않았다.

  • The response statistics of a hinged-clamped beam under broad-band random excitation is investigated. The random excitation is applied at the nodal point of the second mode. By using Galerkin's method the governing equation is reduced to a system of nonautonomous nonlinear ordinary differential equations. A method based upon the Markov vector approach is used to generate a general first-order differential equation in the dynamic moment of response coordinates. By means of the Gaussian and non-Gaussian closure methods the dynamic moment equations for the random responses of the system are reduced to a system of autonomous ordinary differential equations. The case of two mode interaction is considered in order to compare it with the case of three mode interaction. The analytical results for two and three mode interactions are also compared with results obtained by Monte Carlo simulation.

  • The main objectives of this study are to examine the random responses of a vibration absorber system with autoparametric coupling in the neighborhood of internal resonance subjected to narrow band random excitation by Gaussian closure scheme and to compare the results with those obtained by Monte Carlo simulation. The Monte Carlo simulation is found to support the main features of the nonlinear modal interaction in the neighborhood of internal resonance conditions. The jump phenomenon of the cantilever mode and saturation phenomenon of the main system are shown to occur if the excitation bandwidth is sufficiently small.

The specific system examined is a spring-pendulum system with internal resonance, which is known to be a good model for a variety of engineering systems, including ship motions with nonlinear coupling between pitching and rolling motions. The Fokker-Planck equations is used to genrage a general first-order differential equation in the dynamic moment of response coordinates. By means of the Gaussian and non-Gaussian closure methods the dynamic moment equations for the random responses of the system are reduced to a system of autonomous ordinanary differential equations. In view of equilibrium solutions of this system and their stability we examine the stochastic bifurcation and response statistics. The analytical results are compared with results obtained by Monte Carlo simulation.

  • The main objectives of this study are to examine the random response of a vibration absorber system with autoparametric coupling in the neighborhood of internal resonance by Gaussian closure and to compare the results with those obtained by Monte Carlo simulation. The numerical simulation is found to support the main features of the nonlinear modal interaction in the neighborhood of internal resonance conditions. While the Gaussian closure exhibits regions of multiple solutions in the neighborhood of internal resonance, the numerical simulation gives only one solution depending on the assigned initial conditions. The on-off intermittency phenomena of the cantilever mode is observed in the Monte Carlo simulation over a small range of parameter.

The specific system examined is a spring-pendulum system with internal resonance, which is known to be a good model for a variety of engineering systems, including ship motions with nonlinear coupling between pitching and rolling motions. By means of the Gaussian closure method the dynamic moment equations explaining the random responses of the system are reduced to a system of autonomous ordinanary differential equations of the first and second moments. In view of equilibrium solutions of this system and their stability we examine the system responses. The stabilizing effect of system damping is also examined.
