  • There are elements for the game user get into the emotion of flow (the mental state of operation in which the person is fully immersed in what he or she is doing by a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and success in the process of the activity). In game contents, for example, a considerable sophisticated application of 'sound' is one of the important elements must be considered for a qualified game development process. If a proper audio condition is satisfied, a game user is intrinsically solving problems by auditorial sense and the participant get into immersing into the game spontaneously. There are elements in game contents storytelling for the user to be in flow condition, this study will be analyzing a game user's flowing, especially with repetitive usage of sound. To be accurate, 'flow analysis' of Csikszentmihalyi. M, and 'flow factors' of Donna L. Hoffman & Thomas P. Novak, in addition, would be proper references in the research. comparing to a precedent study that analyzed a game and flow focused on visual elements. Ponpoko(Sigma Enterprise Inc., 1981) and Bio Hazard 4(Capcom, 2007) will be given as the main texts. To achieve the desired proposition in the study, user's reaction is monitored by listening repeatable and ordinary sound. Questionnaires are including Frequency Analysis, MANOVA(multivariate analysis of variance).

  • In the context of globalization, circulation between cities has become more frequent. The airport is no longer just a place for boarding, disembarking, and transportation, but a public place that serves as the communication function of the "aviation city". The intervention of public art in the airport space not only gives users a sense of space experience, but also becomes a unique carrier for city and country image shaping. The purpose of this paper is to study the emotional value brought by airport public art to users, and to investigate the correlation analysis of public art design elements and user preferences based on this premise. The research methods are machine learning method and SPSS 21.0. The user's emotional value is introduced in the big data evaluation, and the preference and inclination of airport users to various elements of public art are analyzed by questionnaire. Through the research conclusion, the preference and main contradiction of users in the airport for the four dimensions of public art design elements are obtained. Opinions and optimization methods to provide reference data and theoretical support for public art design.

  • MMORPG online game business has emerged as the most lucrative entertainment industry, with over 10 million gamers in South Korea. It appears that in this extremely attractive and growing services segment, academics, as well as practitioners, would benefit from investigating the relationships among the players' attachment or affection, game contents-related and social interaction-related construct. We assume that game contents-related construct consists of storytelling, game-play method, contents-diversity and the sense of identification, and that social interaction-related construct includes information-sharing, gamers' empowerment and the word-of-mouth. Based on data collected from online questionnaire survey, the validity of the research model has been tested. The results show that contents-related construct influences the players' attachment, and that social interaction-related construct has no direct impact on the attachment. But social interaction-related construct has been shown to influence contents-related construct, implying the indirect impact on the players' attachment.

  • Tewoo refers to a traditional group of Jeju's rafts for fishing in the rough Jeju sea in the past. We propose a mobile game called 'TewooGwang' based on a fishing boat called 'Tewoo', which has a scenario of conquering the Jeju sea using unique characters symbolizing the Jeju's ocean culture. This game is a new game, which uses a character of the fishing boat 'Tewoo', the background based on only Jeju's features, the high portability of PDA, and multimedia technology. It is different from simple sports games and has various game scenarios according to interactions of Tewoo character. The structure of this game represents a storytelling, which integrates Jeju culture into cyberspace. There are stories in this game and users also can make their own stories. Thus, this game enables hi-directional communications. It presents an imaginative space, which can induce a conflictive structure made by each user, and spatial provability. Many young Jeju tourists will enjoy it because this game provides a dynamic story. Furthermore, we can contribute to serving the value-added Jeju culture of being upgraded one step through this Jeju culture based game.

  • Based on revised 2015 curriculum, diversified SW education methods for elementary school students are researched, developed and applied. However, as most of SW education is based on English text, its coding process may be difficult for low graders of elementary school who are not familiar with English and Math. Under this situation, Kodu game lab based 'icon card board' by which coding could be learnt with ease through game and icon was developed and story activity, coding activity and collaboration activity (SCC) strategy based 17th session SW curriculum was applied and verified. As a result of research, in terms of satisfaction of students for SW class, students more than 86% recognized such class positively and a significant effect was obtained from students' interest level and learning model for coding.
