  • Despite the game market's expanding results from the increase of new users of mobile-game market, online-game market is faced with a stagnation. And the increase of income online-game's market share leads to decline of growth of the domestic online-game market. Online-game's growth potential is still valid, and the domestic online-games are still popular in foreign markets. But if the problem of domestic game market is not overcome, the falling behind in the competition is only a matter of time. The major problem is the lack of support measures and reduced competitiveness. On these issues, this research presents a plan to revitalizing of the online-game.

  • Two legal issues of the game industry in Korea are intersted in theses days. Open market & Shut-down. This article is studying for the impacts and the meaning of the game market that the institutionalization of two legal issue produce a powerful effect on. Social environment & recognition bring up the subject. This article is focusing at social environment & recognition and the forecasting game market. With the coming of smart-phone, the mobile contents market is changed. The open market for game is the issue for this changing market and assists the activation of the mobile-market with rational and futuristic perspectives. Shut-down(prohibition of the access of the young people in midnight) is the issue for game addiction and aggravates the game market and the perception on game with the focusing of the happening. This article points out the importance of institutionalization in consequence of the opposite direction of the market effects.

  • This study analyzes on localization plans to successfully enter ASEAN market more rapidly growing than over-saturated the Asian or North American mobile game markets based on the Vietnamese market. Vietnamese smartphone market is the fastest growing in ASEAN based on its young aged population of average 28.2 year-old and low 3G service charges. Considering one of the most common activities through smartphones is the mobile game, the smartphone demand increase can be forecasted to be based on the growth of Vietnamese game market. Global strategies for exporting products to the global market can be classified into 'standardization' and 'localization'. From among these, Korean game companies are making profits by localization plan. But the Vietnamese mobile game market still has entry barriers. Therefore, this study is to contribute to Korean mobile game companies' localization plans for the Vietnamese market by finding and supplementing limits of the Vietnamese mobile game market based on literatures and statistics materials.

  • The main stream of existing game market was console and PC-based games. In these days mobile game industry extends its boundary according to the advance of mobile device capability. Especially, smart phones, known as computers in hands, accelerate the expansion of mobile game market. This paper analyzes the characteristics and the current status of mobile game market. Based on this analysis, future directions for mobile game market are given.

  • Video game industry has undergone the drastic changes for forty-year history. The purpose of this study was to gain an understanding of the historical evolution of the U.S. video game industry. To achieve this goal, this study has chosen the industrial organization model as the theoretical framework. This study found that the market structure as well as the market conduct in the U.S. video game industry changed drastically. This study concludes that the change of the market structure of the U.S. video game industry relates to the change of market conduct. This study could serve as the basis for future research on the economic analysis of video game industry.

  • This study will explore the current status and forecast on Chinese game in relation to game platform. Chinese market has recently developed increasing game platform in the Chinese Market. This paper presents an analysis of Korean game industry's competitive strategy in the Chinese market on the basis of SNG. It explores the new platform such as Webgame and SNS service develops implications for Korean game industry. A new strategy responding to Chinese market and needs is more likely to be successful than a global integration strategy.

  • This study aims to extract additional elements to the existing game value evaluation using Delphi technique to 23 game experts. As a result of reviewing the characteristics of the development model using the evaluation model of the existing game contents, it was found that the evaluation factor was selected when selecting the content. The Delphi analysis was conducted two times, the first was the expert FGI and the second was the Delphi questionnaire. More detailed elements were presented in the related items such as results, technology transfer and dissemination, and details for promoting commercialization. Through focus group interviews, we extracted additional factors and predicted market size, growth potential, regulatory and market appeal and risk through market analysis of content success in the game industry. This will allow the industry to understand market size, growth potential, regulation, market appeal and risk through a market analysis of its success targets. This study suggests that the proposed evaluation factors can be applied to the entire game and cultural contents industry and will also help to construct market factors such as market value evaluation of contents, goal and goal setting, selection of entry method, and strategic factors.

  • The introduction of 5G greatly reduced service traffic speed and capacity problems. In this communication environment, the market demand for cloud games is increasing, and cloud games are considered as a replacement for mobile games in the future. This study explains the changes in the game industry, and the characteristics and market status of cloud games. Next, this study suggests competitive advantage elements for cloud games market. We expect that this study could help make decisions related to policy support for the cloud game market and industry.

So, this China market's charm advanced many domestic companies to China market. Also, many domestic companies are preparing for China advance. However, we did not understand perfectly circumstance of China market, and advanced impatiently without thorough preparation. So, occasion that the latest domestic companies fail greatly is increasing. Finally, we can know that China market's advance is difficulty. Therefore, we must analyze circumstance of China game market systematically, and do thoroughpreparation and preparatory audit that is enough with wider visual field.
