In this paper, a model was devised to change the numerical values that affect the game balance by using Chat-GPT for game balancing. Based on the usability of Chat-GPT shown in several studies and cases using Chat-GPT, Chat-GPT is automated to directly adjust detailed and objective in-game numerical values. In this paper, the format of Chat-GPT responses was consistently adjusted so that the numerical values required for game balancing could be obtained directly from the answers. As an experimental method, it was confirmed that four players autonomously designed the game level through five rounds to adjust the balance. These studies suggest the possibility that games can be produced using Chat-GPT in the future.

This study is about Augmented Reality Game (AR Game) applied to Pokemon Go, which has recently been a sensational game. We focused on and analyzed the intention for continuous use as a dependent variable. We made hypotheses through previous studies and used spatial presence, perceived interactivity, perceived pleasure, and sickness as independent variables. Immersion was set up as a mediating variable. We conducted the study using 198 data, which people who experienced AR games responded. The results were as follows. First, spatial presence and perceived pleasure were found to have a significant effect on immersion, as in previous studies. Second, the relationship between sickness and immersion, which were shown to have a negative relationship in previous studies, we found that variables had a positive relationship unlike previous studies and rejected the hypothesis. Third, perceived interactivity, which is one of the crucial variables to affect the intention for continuous use, we found not to have a significant relationship among perceived interactivity, immersion, and the intention for continuous use. This result is opposite from previous studies, and further research on this issue is expected. We conducted this study with an individual user's view on immersion and the intention for continuous use rather than focusing on technical or political topics. Besides, this study has a significance that drew different results from previous studies and explored people who relish AR games with the characteristics of personal variables.

The purpose of this study is to examine the correlations between the computer game strategies that are to be mastered according to the frequency of using games and the learning strategies, and to make sure of if there is any significant difference in their attainment degrees of studies or not. On the whole, a statistically significant difference was found in the relations between the game strategies and the learning strategies, and the study attainment degrees also showed a statistically significant difference. In other words, the computer game can possibly help students improve their study strategies, accordingly, increase their study attainment extents. In case that students successfully use the computer game, it can make an effective influence on their improving the studying strategies.
In this study, the influence of player motivations in FPS(First Person Shooter) online game on flow, consumer satisfaction and loyalty was analyzed. Research results show that player motivations can be classified into five factors: control, relationship, boasting, de-stress, and interest. The most influential factor that affects flow is interest, and control, relationship, and de-stress are following. In terms of consumer satisfaction, relationship, interest, and control are most positive factors. When it comes to consumer loyalty, relationship, control, and interest are most positive factors. Flow has a strongly positive influence on both consumer satisfaction and loyalty.
This study is about projection methods in computer games that support graphic user interface. Most of previous studies were case studies on or aesthetic approaches to a specific projection method. We investigated projection methods observed in computer games according to the chronicle of games, and studied changes in the methods and their future direction. Furthermore, we examined the emotional and productive aspects of various projection methods, and found that projection methods in computer games are being developed in accordance with graphic designers' job difficulty and computer processing capacity. Project, which determines contents consumers' view, is a very important factor to be decided at the planning stage of contents development. In this sense, we expect the results of this study to make a contribution to relevant areas.
Do artifacts function merely as tools? Today tremendous softwares work to assist or guide their users. This paper will apply the theories of Science & Technology Studies(STS) and the agent definition of Floridi & Sanders(2004) to game-bot programmes. Consequently we would see game-bots have had the interactivity, autonomy and adaptability. They are the position of agents even in playing. Further they may be companion relationship in the way that bots and human players compose each other. Then we will be induce to new question, the bots may be political-social. While human actors in computer based rule are the compounds being affected by the artificials, they will be never same to classic human actors.
Purpose: This study aims to investigate the consumption patterns of the MZ generation in relation to eSports and traditional professional sports, focusing on the similarities and differences in spending behavior on game items and professional sports viewing. Research design, data, and methodology: The research utilizes a comparative analysis of eSports and professional sports consumption trends within the MZ generation. Data was collected through surveys targeting MZ generation consumers and analyzed using statistical methods to assess the impact of consumption behaviors on spending. The study particularly focuses on the expenditure behaviors in game items (eSports) versus traditional sports viewing expenses. Results: The analysis revealed that the MZ generation displays distinct consumption behaviors between eSports and traditional sports. eSports consumption is characterized by higher spending on in-game items, driven by personalization and competitive advantages, whereas spending on professional sports viewing is influenced by fan loyalty and event participation. Conclusions: The findings underscore the growing economic significance of eSports, driven by the unique consumption behaviors of the MZ generation. These insights suggest that the eSports industry should continue to adapt its strategies to capitalize on this trend, while traditional sports organizations may need to innovate in engagement strategies to maintain consumer interest and expenditure.
The quantitave increase and qualitative development in the game industry leads to bitter competition and makes game companies struggle to find better ways promoting their own games. The game trailer is one of the critical ways to publicize diverse games by showing visual images directly. There are three reasons why the game trailer comes into the spotlight these days; the rapid growth of the Internet speed handling the large size of files, the remarkable development of visual image quality just like digital movies, and the advent of video websites such as You Tube that shows huge amount of videos regardless of the type and size. However, there are not enough amount of research on the game trailer because using game trailers as the marketing source is still at an early stage. Therefore, this research focuses on providing characteristics of game trailers that are available for practical market analysis. First, this research shows that game trailers can be divided by the category of display, style, and contents type. Second, this research provides the component parts of game trailers that are divided into contents factors such as characters, backgrounds, events and promotional factors such as title, production company name, distribution company name. Third, this research explores research frames that would be needed to analyze marketing strategies, effects of game trailers, production pipelines and so on. These categorizations would be useful for producing game trailers efficiently and utilizing them effectively.
While the period of 40 million smart phone users begins, mobile game has spread and evolved as quick as popularization of smart phone. Therefore, this study is written to help the improvement of a graphic image on a development of a game for a qualitative growth of a game market, and is to suggest a guideline of tone by genres, by measuring image or feeling of game genre targeting game users. As a result of study, more than 50% of adjectives game users wrote by genres corresponded. It means that tone game users prefer is relatively clear. Therefore, the researcher confirmed that it is possible to attempt the standardization of tome about genre, and suggested 3 kinds of tone and brightness of color by genres. The researcher hopes that this result of the study will help smooth color plan on a development of smart phone game, and that more diverse studies will be proceeded for a qualitative growth of a game market arriving at puberty.
Social network games (SNGs), a rapidly growing online game genre, are built and played on social network sites. SNGs provide an online world for enjoying leisure time and interpersonal communication, and an increasing numbers of college students are involved in such game-playing as a leisure time activity. Despite the popularity, relatively few studies have been conducted to investigate the nature of game players, especially the meaning of such leisure time behavior by college students. This paper's aim was to explore a subjective meaning structure of online social network game play. The means-end chain model was used to link attributes of SNGs to the underlying values of game playing as a leisure activity. The results revealed two emerging end-values: the need for bridging and a sense of belonging. This study sheds light on the meaning of college students' leisure activities when playing social network games.
