  • In this paper, we proposed the education program using Scratch as an alternative activity for the remedy program of game addiction. We tried to find the solution through computer and game that affect the problem of game addiction. We choose the high-risk students about game addiction disposition and took a programming lesson for educational game development with consultation class. We also analysed the effectiveness of our remedy program. We found the positive results between before and after the program and we analysed that game connectivity rates were decreased during recess time. In interview and observation about students, we found that the students were changed to the positive tendency about game addiction. We expect this program will give many help for solving the problem of game addiction, if this research is applied to the regular class in elementary school.

  • Recently, Transition to the epoch of world has put an emphasis on the contents that has been emerging as the value of world economy. Consequently the core of industry is moving from IT industry to culture contents industry. Especially Game Industry among the culture contents industry is estimated that it will be the biggest power of influence in size and social influence. Game Industry is one of the high value-added, knowledge-based industries whose market is increasing faster than any other cultural industries. And game industry includes the technology, culture, cultural science and industry. It effectively symbolizes the character of synthetic entertainment industry in comparison with another industry. Also Game Industry is embedding as the superpower industry that competent to draw the whole development of culture industry because game development is intensifying into One-Source Multi-Use. It is important finding of this paper that it is necessary to ensure the competitive power and understand value and character of contents and to project the policy of human power and technology of Game Industry.

  • The government is encouraging the expansion of renewable energy facilities through national renewable energy policy. However, the installation of renewable energy generation facilities has led to local resident complaints due to landscape degradation, electromagnetic wave emission, real estate devaluation, and environmental pollution. This creates conflicts between power project developers and residents, making the progress of projects more difficult. This study applies non-cooperative game theory to analyze eight cases of renewable energy projects where conflicts between developers and residents were resolved through resident's investment participation. By accepting investments from local stakeholders, residents achieved returns ranging from a maximum of 25 % to a minimum of 4.1 %. It was found through game theory analysis that a dominant strategy involves residents agreeing to the development of the project and the developers sharing a portion of the profits with the residents. The analysis results show that the point where dominant strategy meet forms a Nash equilibrium, and at the same time becomes the Pareto optimal point, benefiting both power generation operators and residents.

  • This study is about projection methods in computer games that support graphic user interface. Most of previous studies were case studies on or aesthetic approaches to a specific projection method. We investigated projection methods observed in computer games according to the chronicle of games, and studied changes in the methods and their future direction. Furthermore, we examined the emotional and productive aspects of various projection methods, and found that projection methods in computer games are being developed in accordance with graphic designers' job difficulty and computer processing capacity. Project, which determines contents consumers' view, is a very important factor to be decided at the planning stage of contents development. In this sense, we expect the results of this study to make a contribution to relevant areas.

  • The cooperative cost sharing scheme for Dust and Sand Storm(DSS) in North East Asia, as suggested in Song and Nagaki(2007), may not be feasible due to possible defection(s) of participating countries. If non-cooperative strategies are more plausible, Nash equilibrium can suggest possible outcomes of the cost sharing game. The result from the continuous strategy model shows that there exists an infinite number of Nash equilibrium such that the summation of investment from each country is always equal to the required budget of the ADS pilot project. It is also discussed that the discrete strategy model points to only 3 Nash equilibria in continuous strategy game outcome and the cooperative game solution may be just one of the infinite equilibria.

  • Virtual reality(VR) is known as immersive multimedia or computer-simulated reality, is a computer technology that replicates an environment, real or imagined, and simulates a user's physical presence and environment to allow for user interaction. Virtual realities artificially create sensory experience including sight, touch, hearing, and smell. Owing to the use of a single device in most VR contents, user have difficulty in manipulating user interface and game object. And also immersion of the game goes down because they can't see the mouse and keyboard in virtual space. In this paper, we design and implement the chess game to easily and accurately control user interface to improve the immersion in game.

  • After the Pokemon game became popular, the popularity of the Augmented Reality game is higher than ever. Therefore, it is an important choice to use an engine to create an augmented reality game. It explains how to create an augmented reality game using Unity engine, which is one of the most used game engines in game development. We describe a method for implementing augmented reality optimized for games by selecting a MARKERLESS method that does not require a marker among the augmented reality techniques. In this paper, we propose a technique to create MARKERLESS augmented reality game using KUDAN AR engine which supports Unity engine and unity through 'Our Hero' project.

  • This paper explores some of the ways in which social games - games played with others through social network sites such as Facebook - are situated within the everyday. It argues that social games are more than just games; they perform a range of interactive and integrative functions across and within people's lives and therefore need to be investigated as such. Social games en-able spaces for and practices of creative expression, and identity management. They also form a mechanism through which relations can be enacted and maintained across and outside of the game environment. This argument requires the researcher to consider the panoply of ways in which people integrate social games within their lives and everyday practices. Part of a larger project, this paper explores some findings from an exploratory survey of Australian game play-ers about their management and integration of game play within the everyday with a particular focus on gender.
