The Control System Modeling and Experiment for the Tele-operated Unmanned Vehicle

  • The control system design and modeling of an unmanned vehicle by means of a new concept for better performance through a tole-operation system is suggested by sensor fusion. But, the control of a real vehicle is very difficult, because the system identification of the vehicle is hard to find the unknown factors and the disturbances of the experimental environment. For the longitudinal and lateral controls, the traction system and steering system models are set up and a tuning method to find the gain of the controller by experiments is presented. In this research, mechanical and electronic parts are implemented to operate the unmanned vehicle and data reconstruction method of information about the environment data coming from several sensors is presented by data plot for the vehicle navigation. This paper focuses on the integration of tole-operated unmanned vehicle. This vehicle mainly controlled lateral and longitudinal directions with actuators for controlling vehicle movement and sensors for the closed-loop controlled system.

  • 본 논문은 DSP Controller를 적용한 연료전지시스템의 유량제어에 관한 논문이다. 그리고 이 연구에서 사용된 시스템은 1kW급 계통연계 연료전지 시스템이다. 이 연료전지 시스템이 안정적으로 전원을 공급할 수 있도록 시스템에서 요구하는 공기 유량을 정확히 공급하도록 제어하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 이 목적을 이루기 위해 공기 공급 장치에 PID 제어기를 설계하여 적용하였다. PID 제어기의 Gain값은 지글러 니콜스 Tuning 방식으로 정하였다. 이 제어기를 적용하여 실험한 결과, 적용 전 상태와 비교하면 맥동이 30% 저감하였고, 정상상태 오차가 제거되어 온도 변화와 같은 외란과 상관없이 정확한 요구 공기 유량을 공급함을 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 부하가 변동함에 따라 해당 요구 공기 유량이 바뀔 때 1초 내에 그 요구 공기 유량을 추종하여 스택이 안정적으로 운전될 수 있도록 하였다.

실차 적용을 통한 각속도센서 특성 연구 (A Study on Characteristics of Angular Rate Sensor using Real Vehicle)

  • A surface micro machined angular rate sensor utilizing a vibrating MEMS structure on a silicon has been developed. These tuning fork angular rate sensors are extremely rugged, inherently balanced, and easy to fabricate. The device is fabricated using a temperature compensation method based on automatic gain control technique. A linearity of approximately 0.6%, limited by the on-chip electronics has been obtained with this new sensor. Tests of the sensor demonstrate that its performance is equivalent to that required for implementation of a yaw control system. Vehicle handling and safety are substantially improved using the sensor to implement yaw control.

  • In this paper, the control scheme is proposed that PI controller parameter used for TAH speed control is adapted by fuzzy logic method using only the motor current waveform. By scheduling PI parameters, minimization of the vibration and the energy consumption and overcoming AoP loads becomes possible. In in vitro tests experimental results show our approach is a good scheme that is adapted to changing afterloads well.

  • This paper describes the design of SVC fuzzy logic controller (SVC-FLC) using adaptive evolutionary algorithm and we tuned the gain of input-output variables of SYC-FLC using it. We performed the nonlinear simulation on an single-machine infinite system to prove the efficiency of the proposed method. The proposed SYC-FLC showed the better performance than PD controller in terms of the settling time and damping effect, for system operation condition used in evaluating the robustness and three phase grounding default in cases of nominal loading used in tuning SVC-FLC for a single-machine infinite system.

PCS영 GaAs VCO/Mixer MMIC 설계 및 제작에 관한 연구 (Design and fabrication of GaAs MMIC VCO/Mixer for PCS applications)

  • A GaAs MMIC composed of VCO (voltage controlled oscillator) and mixer for PCS receiver has been developed using 1.mu.m ion implanted GaAs MESFET process. The VCO consists of a colpitts-type oscillator with a dielectric resonator and the circuit configuration of the mixer is a dual-gate type with an asymmetric combination of LO and RF FETs for the improvement of intermodulation characteristics. The common-source self-biasing is used in all circuits including a buffer amplifier and mixer, achieving a single power supply (3V) operation. The total power dissipation is 78mW. The VCO chip shows a phase noise of-99 dBc/Hz at 100KHz offset. The combined VCO/mixer chip shows a flat conversion gain of 2dB, the frequency-tuning factor of 80MHz/volts in the varacter bias ranging from 0.5V to 0.5V , and output IP3 of dBm at varactor bias of 0V. The fabricated chip size is 2.5mm X 1.4mm.

시간 지연 요소를 이용한 PI 제어기 자동 동조 알고리즘 (An Auto-tuning Algorithm of PI Controller Using Time Delay Element)

  • 본 논문에서는 PI 제어기를 설계해야 하는 경우인 임계 주파수 부근에서 이득 감소가 적은 시스템을 구별할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 임계 주파수 부근에서 이득감소가 적은 시스템을 구별하기 위해 시간 지연 요소를 이용하여 이득 감소율을 구하는 방법을 제안하였다. 또한 크기 마진과 위상 마진이 주어진 경우 PI 제어기를 설계하는 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 알고리즘은 시간 지연요소와 포화함수를 이용하여 PI 제어가 가능한 한점의 좌표값을 계산하는 방법을 사용하였다. 제안된 방법은 시뮬레이션을 통해 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • In order to reject the steady-state tracking error, it is common to introduce integral compensators in servosystems for constant reference signals. However, if the mathematical model of the plant is exact and no disturbance input exists, the integral compensation is not necessary. From this point of view, a two-degree-of-freedom(2DOF) servosystem has been proposed, in which the integral compensation is effective only when there is a modeling error or a disturbance input. The present paper considers a robust stability of this 2DOF servosystem with nonlinear type uncertainty in the system, and a robust stability condition for the servosystem is introduced. This result guarantees that if the plant uncertainty is in the permissible set defined by the condition, gain tuning can be carried out to suppress the influence of the plant uncertainties and disturbance inputs.

RVEGA SMC를 이용한 Ball-Beam 시스템의 안정화 (Stabilization of Ball-Beam System using RVEGA SMC)

  • The stabilization control of ball-beam system is difficult because of its nonlinearity and structural unstability. Futhermore, a series of classical methods such as the PID and the full state feedback controller(FSFC) based on the local linearizations have narrow stabilizable regions. At the same time, the fine tunings of their gain parameters are also troublesome. Therefore, in this paper, three improved design techniques of stabilization controller for a ball-beam system were proposed. These parameter tuning methods in the double PID controller(DPIDC), the FSFC and the a sliding mode controller(SMC) were dependent upon the Real Value Elitist Genetic Algorithm (RVEGA). Finally, by applying the DPIDC, the FSFC and the Real Variable Elitist Genetic Algorithm based Sliding Mode Control(RVEGA SMC) to the stabilizations of a ball-beam system, the performances of the RVEGA SMC technique were showed to be superior to those of two other type controllers.

  • The Eigen-Sensitivity theory at full system is used to supplement drawback of the existing PSS gain tuning methods in this paper. Hessenberg method is used to linear analysis. This proposed method is successfully tested on KEPCO 2003 off-peak power system to improve local mode. The designed PSS at 2003 off-peak system is installed in 2003 peak system to improve robustness.
