Based on the geometrical representation of a generalized intuitionistic fuzzy set, we take into account all three parameters describing generalized intuitionistic fuzzy set and propose new methods to calculate the correlation coefficient for generalized intuitionistic fuzzy sets by means of mathematical statistics.

본 논문에서 구축한 시스템은 서버에 설치된 통계패키지인 Xlisp-Stat을 이용하여 인터넷 상에서 통계분석과 통계 학습을 겸한 통계학습시스템이다. 이 시스템은 CGI 프로그램에 의하여 Xlisp-Stat과 웹 서버와의 인터페이스 모듈이 구현되었으며, 특히 통계분석 결과가 그래프인 경우에 브라우저에 출력이 가능한 GIF 이미지로 변환하여 실시간으로 학습자에게 전송하도록 설계하였다. 또한 학습 페이지는 기술통계를 중심으로 학습 내용을 구성하였으며, 학습 효과를 높이기 위하여 인지적지연 시간을 최소화하도록 설계하였다.

본 논문에서는 웨이브릿 변환 영역에 제안한 알고리듬으로 여러 공격에 강인한 워터마크를 삽입하였다. 추출된 워터마크는 정칙화 영상복원에 활용하는 Tikhonov-Miller 처리를 함으로써 워터마크의 유사성 판별을 쉽게 하였다. 제안한 방법의 강인성과 유사성 향상을 실험하기 위해 명암, 크기 변화, 필터링, 잘라내기, 히스토그램 평활화, 손실압축(JPEG, gif)과 같은 영상처리를 하였다. 실험 결과 제안한 방법은 비가시성을 고려한 강인한 워터마크를 삽입할 수 있고 여러 공격에 대해서 더욱 높은 상관 계수로 추출할 수가 있었다.

Effects of iron compounds in known biomimetic oxidation systems (Gif IV and GoAgg II) have been studied on activity and ketone/alcohol selectivity of cyclohexane oxidation. Both ketone/alcohol ratio and cyclohexane conversion were affected by counter-ion Z of iron compounds Z-Fe. When Z has a more electron withdrawing property, the reactivity is increased and the formation of ketone is favored. From these experimental results, a new mechanism is proposed for the biomimetic oxidation system.

In this paper, we Propose a method using the Tikhonov-Miller process to improve the robustness of watermarking under various attacks. A visually recognizable pattern watermark is embedded in the LH2, HL2 and HH2 subband of wavelet transformed domain using threshold and besides watermark is embeded by utilizing HVS(Human Visual System) feature. The pattern watermark was interlaced after random Permutation for a security and an extraction rate. To demonstrate the improvement of robustness and similarity of the proposed method, we applied some basic algorithm of image processing such as scaling, filtering, cropping, histogram equalizing and lossy compression(JPEG, gif). As a result of experiment, the proposed method was able to embed robust watermark invisibility and extract with an excellent normalized correlation of watermark under various attacks.

Generally, cartoon images are simple and involve a small number of colors and often include large homogeneous regions with same color or gradient. In this paper, effective compression method for complementary quadtree was suggested for cartoon images, by using those properties. And with progressive transmission, this method involves a progressive increase in the image resolution at the receiver from a lower to a higher resolution during the transmission of data. This is an effective way of using a limited transmission channel, because, after estimating the value of the data in the early transmission period, a decision can be made whether or not to proceed with the transmission of the remaining part. Since the proposed method is lossless and involves progressive transmission, it was compared with progressive PNG and progressive GIF, which had same functions.

In this paper, we propose a multi-scale high dynamic range (HDR) tone mapping algorithm using guided image filter (GIF). The GIF is used to divide an image into a base layer and a detail layer, then the range of the detail layer is reduced with a compression function to enhance the detail information of the image. However, in most cases, an image includes the detail and edge information in different scales. That is to say, it is difficult to represent all detail features under a certain scale, and a single-scale image decomposition method is not free from artifacts around edges. To solve the problems, the multi-scale image decomposition method is proposed. It utilizes the detail layers of several scale to determine how much edge is preserved. Experiment results show that the proposed algorithm has better image performance in preserving edge compared to conventional algorithm.

This study generalized and systemized the unit-project items of 176 project districts for the rural village comprehensive development projects (RVCDP). This paper surveyed opinions of III answerers (7 specialists, 43 agents of Korea Rural Community corporation, and 61 agents of local government of cities and counties) in order to determine the classification system and their corresponding weighting values of the project items using analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method. From the results extracted by project plans of 176 project districts for 5 years from 2004 to 2008, this study decided a hierarchical system for unit-project items of RVCDP by AHP method, which consisted of three steps: 4 items for 1st step, 13 items for 2nd step, and 52 items for 3rd step. The first step contains 4 items of Strength of Rural-urban Exchange & Regional Capability (RURC), Green-income Infrastructure & Facility (GIF), Culture-health-welfare Facility, and Eco-environment & Landscape facility (ELF). In the survey of weighting values with AHP method, the analysis result for the first step showed that in opinion of specialists, GIF is more important than the others while in opinion of the other agents, RURC is more important. In the second step, Product Facility is more important in the specialists, whereas Strength of Resident Capability is the most important in the other agents. Analyzed unit project items as the third step, all answerers evaluated that the Education and Excursion for Rural Resident Capability has the highest weighting values.

A method to select the proper file formats of thumbnail images is proposed. After the experimental works for image file formats such as JPEG, GIF, and those effectiveness to the features contained in images, four features are obtained by feature extraction methods used in contents based image indexing, those are, the details, highly saturated colored area, the number of clustered color, and the amount of continuously varying hue. Also it is described the way to select the proper file format with those four features. In the thumbnail image generation experiments, 6 sample images are used, and with subjective assessment experiments, the resulted thumbnail images are shown to be consistent to the file formats chosen by human subjects, that is, favorable to human vision, which means the proposed method can be utilized as an automatic and systematic generation of thumbnail images for a lot of images on Web.
