급유비용 차별하의 항공기 급유 최적화 모형 (Aircraft fueling optimization model under a fueling cost differentiation)

  • 항공교통시스템에서 핵심적 역할을 하는 항공사의 운영비 중 유류비용은 가장 큰부분을 차지한다. 따라서 많은 항공사들은 유류비 절감을 위한 많은 노력을 기울이고 있는 실정이다. 이 중 체계적인 항공기 급유계획 전략은 많은 비용절감 효과로 인하여 근래에 많은 주목을 받고 있다. 항공기 급유계획은 항공유의 급유비용이 각 운항공항 별로 상이할 때, 총 유류비를 최소화할 수 있도록 각 항공기의 운항공항에서 최적 급유량을 도출하는 계획이다. 본 연구에서는 항공기 급유계획에 관한 수리모형을 제시한다. 제시된 모형은 각 운항공항의 급유비용과 항공기 경로정보가 알려져 있을 때 각 운항공항에서 총비용을 최소로하는 정확한 급유량을 계산하는 최적화 모형이다. 실험결과, 제안된 모형은 직관적 형태의 발견적 기법보다 효과적인 비용절감이 이루어짐을 확인하였고, 향후 항공사를 비롯한 대형 운송시스템에서 유류관리 전략으로 중요한 역할을 할 것이라 기대된다.

플러그인 하이브리드 전기자동차의 연료 경제성에 관한 연구 (Study on the Fueling Economic Feasibility of Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle)

  • The most concerning issue of these days is the energy crisis caused by increasing threat of dependence on imported oil and volatile market trend. Under these circumstances, the PHEV(plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) is drawing attention for the next generation's car which could give a chance to decrease the dependence on imported oil and reduce the environmental impact of vehicle. The fueling cost of PHEV, one of the core factor of decision about buying car, should be calculated in the circumstances of Korea to make sure that PHEV has competitive power in real market. The fuel cost saving of PHEV versus CV(conventional vehicle) is simulated and discussed in the condition of increasing gasoline cost, electricity rate, and city-gas rate. In conclusion, the PHEV60-FS shows the best economic feasibility when gasoline price goes up. The PHEV20 has the most stable economic feasibility as electricity rate increases. The fuel cell cogeneration system for RPG could be an alternative for charger of PHEV in the near future.

동적 이용률을 고려한 수소충전소 사업의 경제성 분석 (An Economic Analysis of the Hydrogen Station Enterprise Considering Dynamic Utilization)

  • This paper deals with the after-tax economic feasibility analysis of the hydrogen fueling station considering dynamic utilization. We selected an off-site hydrogen station in which the hydrogen is supplied by a central by-product hydrogen plant as a case study. Also, we made some sensitivity analysis by changing input factors such as the discount rate, the hydrogen station construction cost, the hydrogen demand and the hydrogen sale price. As a result, the hydrogen station will not be economical in 2020 due to the relatively high price of the hydrogen station construction cost and the low price of hydrogen sale price. In order to realize the economic feasibility of the hydrogen station in the early stage of the hydrogen economy, the subsidies on the annual operating cost as well as the construction cost are needed.

  • We have concentrated on the performance improvement of each part for durability, safety and cost of high pressure storage system for fuel cell vehicle so far. But for the mass production of fuel cell vehicle, it is necessary to evaluate durability and safety in system module. We built the standard to evaluate and collision safety of high pressure storage system for fuel cell vehicle, and could verify reliability of high pressure storage system.

  • The TFT-LCD industry has shown dramatic growth by making technological advances and satisfying consumer needs. It now stands at the heart of the display industry. However, the TFT-LCD market is maturing and is unlikely to sustain the fast pace of growth in years to come. There has been an oversupply in the LCD sector entering 2008 due to capacity expansion aimed at fueling growth coupled with softening demand amid the global economic slowdown and recent financial turmoil. The LCD industry has successfully coped with oversupply on several occasions. Each time, LCD makers faced up to the challenge and responded with a pioneering spirit. They continued to grow by turning crisis into opportunity. LG Display aims to create new markets by developing products based on innovative technology and providing more attractive products through a value-added product planning that incorporates consumer needs. Through a continuous cost innovation targeted at stimulating demand by making products more economical to consumers, we will be at the forefront of overcoming the current oversupply and sustaining robust growth for the TFT-LCD industry. Depending on our management of the situation, the current oversupply could prove to be an opportunity to create even bigger markets for the future.

Client Technology on a Server for Mobile Cloud

  • The increasing ubiquity of wireless networks and decreasing cost of hardware is fueling a proliferation of mobile devices. These devices are enabling a new revolution in mobile technology, not only running locally on them, but running on cloud as a service as well. From web browsing, email, or video conferencing, presentations to movie and music entertainment or games, multimedia applications, mobile cloud enables providing such diverse applications. Many technologies have been designed to address the limited hardware and performance in thin client PC. However, with the assorted network and graphic condition, those proposed technologies is obligated to alter aim to adapt mobile cloud. In this paper, we provide a survey of client technology on a Server that can be sufficed the requirements of Mobile Cloud. We also analyze each technology and classify with its individual difficulties and challenges.

  • The domestic construction industry in the last 30 to 40 years has accumulated a large stock of buildings that are quickly and there physical age is quickly becoming apparent. Contemporary changes in architecture are fueling changes driven by the increased demand for these new services and facilities. The cost of energy and raw materials are on the rise, and dealing with the waist generated from the creation of new buildings is an emerging problem in the industry today. Thus, building remodeling has emerged as an alternative do to its increased efficiency regarding material usage. The participation of users in the development stages of a remodeling project is essential to its effective implementation in projects. The BIM model used for the design process of building remodeling is the most effective way, due to the increased efficiency gained in many areas. This study will examine a pilot project where a BIM based process was used in the remodeling of an apartment.

SOI 기술의 이해와 고찰: 소자 특성 및 공정, 웨이퍼 제조 (Basic Issues in SOI Technology : Device Properties and Processes and Wafer Fabrication)

  • The ever increasing popularity and acceptance in the market place of portable systems, such as cell phones, PDA, notebook PC, etc., are fueling effects in further miniaturizing and lowering power consumption in these systems. The dynamic power consumption due to the CPU activities and the static power consumption due to leakage currents are two major sources of power consumption. Smaller devices and a lower de voltage lead to reducing the power requirement, while better insulation and isolation of devices lead to reducing leakage currents. All these can be harnessed in the SOI (silicon-on-insulator) technology. In this study, the key aspects of the SOI technology, mainly device electrical properties and device processing steps, are briefly reviewed. The interesting materials issues, such as SOI structure formation and SOI wafer fabrication methods, are then surveyed. In particular, the recent technological innovations in two major SOI wafer fabrication methods, namely wafer bonding and SIMOX, are explored and compared in depth. The results of the study are nixed in that, although the quality of the SOI structures has shown great improvements, the processing steps are still found to be too complex. Between the two methods, no clear winner has yet emerged in terms of the product quality and cost considerations.

자동차연료로서 CNG의 경제성 분석 (Benefit Analysis of CNG as an Automobile Fuel)

  • 전 세계적으로 급성장하고 있는 자동차연료로 압축천연가스(CNG)의 사용이 일반화되고 있다. 1996년도에 100만 대이던 CNG자동차가 2006년도에는 5배가 증가하였으며, 지금도 계속 증가하고 있는 추세이다. CNG연료는 가솔린 및 디젤연료에 비하여 효율적이고 완전연소에 가까워 청정연료로서 적합하다. 또한 배출 가스로서 일산화탄소, 탄화수소 및 질소산화물 등이 다른 연료에 비하여 유리하며, 경제적인 면에서도 투자가치가 있다. 본 연구에서는 천연가스자동차의 환경적인 특성화 효율적이고 경제적인 면에서 고찰하고자 한다.
