  • Well-known e-CRM strategy is to focus on profitable customers and pay less attention to unprofitable ones. Moreover, some researchers recommend not serving unprofitable ones any more. However, it often neglects customers indirect value. Deselecting unprofitable customers can raise the issue of bad word-of-mouth publicity especially in the age of the Internet. Some studies pointed out that a customers decision to buy a product or service is often strongly influenced by others. In this paper, we consider customers' word-of-mouth effect on quality learning of inexperienced customers. We show that firms implementing e-CRM must take the effect into the consideration when deselecting unprofitable customers.

  • In this paper, we focus on the analysis of the results of CAS-K (Creative Attitude Scale-Korea) including 33 items of 7 factors. Using the analysis gives us the information about students' creative attitude for each factor. We introduce three methods of the analysis about the results of CAS-K; total scores analysis, mean value of each factor analysis, and CAS-K map analysis. We develop the CAS-K map based on the mean value of each factor and three categories of factors. These categories are divergent attitude (fluency, appropriateness), problem solving attitude (positiveness, independency, concentration), and convergent attitude (convergency, accuracy). This analysis of the results of CAS-K can be a source of creative attitude to foster mathematical creativity.

  • Recently, it is not sufficient that contemporary firms satisfy customers to be really successful, they must create new value. To do so, many firms focus on the blue ocean strategy. The blue ocean strategy proposed the strategic canvas as a main tool for identifying the opportunities for value differentiation. It is easy to understand and for the use, but has weakness that is a unclear procedure to make it done. To complement its weak point, this study proposes a refined strategic canvas based on the concept of the business evolution that comes from a discontinuous evolution trend of 5 stages known as customer expectation.

  • Korea has rapidly increased R&D investment over the last few decades and the intensity of R&D investment is among the highest in the world; however, there are serious concerns about R&D performance and R&D efficiency. This study is to improve the economic assessment methodology regarding a feasibility study for national R&D programs that are thought to be one of the most prominent ways to enhance R&D efficiency. In order to improve the methodology of economic assessment, a few of important factors such as technical or market uncertainty, spillover effect, and R&D contribution ratio should be covered in the model. The focus of this article is technological and market uncertainty that has a close relation with strategic flexibility and utilization potential to increase the value of R&D programs. To improve the current linear and definitive R&D process, a new framework with strategic flexibility is suggested, in which the result of economic assessment that considers technological and market uncertainty is reflected in planning. That kind of feedback process is expected to enhance the value of the program/project as well as R&D efficiency.

  • The selected structure for the value engineering review is one section of cut and cover tunnel for Seoul Subway Line 9. The primary focus of the review is on the optimisation of the structures to save cost on the existing Line 9 contracts through variation of the design criteria as it affects the permanent works. This is to be achieved through comparison with design criteria for other selected international subways. Criteria resulting from the review must not compromise public safety and durability for the 100 year design life.

The reactionism trend was worthy of notice in figures and traditional design occupied most of them. 2) Color In the hue, YR, R, RP group were used concentratedly. Because 5,6,7 level were used a great many among the value value was represented lightly more than midium light. Because 2,3,4 level were used a great many among the chroma chroma was represented duller than midium chroma. • Results of Investment mean not results of procedure but the final goal of an organization. That is to say, results focus on success or failure of investment. So, cost effectiveness means financial cost that is affected in order to attain the output of organizational goal. Many enterprises are investing in developing and redeveloping various projects of information systems. But, it is not generally considered to check values with monitoring and evaluating their projects. We propose a new value model for information systems investment.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the needs of apartment residents for community programs by generations. For this study, the data from the focus group interview(35 participants) and the questionnaire survey(186 participants) were analyzed. The major results were as follows; 1) The residents in different generations had different characteristics and life values. Y generation showed higher value in Technology/Consumption/Individual than other generations. BB generation had higher value both in Health/Property/Family and Prudence/Reality. G generation scored a higher level in Tradition/Conservatism. 2) The residents in all generations showed a high level in needs of community programs and especially higher rates in needs of communication programs items. However, there were gaps in program needs among different generations. Therefore, the community programs should be specialized provided by considering unique needs of different generations.

  • In the last few decades there has been much interest in how mathematics can be effectively taught and learnt. The Third Wave is a unique ongoing international collaborative mathematics education research project, which aims to explore the relevant values of effective school mathematics teaching from both the teacher and student perspectives. As part of this project, this study investigates the related findings from students on the Chinese mainland. Multiple data were collected through classroom observations, focus group interviews, and written, open-ended questions. Twenty-four students from junior and senior secondary schools were invited to write down their views on an effective lesson, a good mathematics teacher, and how to do well in mathematics learning. Results showed that among the eight values determined in the study, the values of involvement, explanation, and examples were embraced by students across all grades. Students preferred teacher-led mathematics teaching. Junior secondary students placed more value on teachers' personalities, whereas senior students placed more value on teachers' teaching manners.
