여수연안 정치강어장의 환경요인과 어항변동에 관한 연구 3 . 기초생산자의 출현과 어획량의 변동 (Environmental Factors and Catch Fluctuation of Set Net Grounds in the Coastal Waters of Yeosu 3. The Quantity of Phytoplankton and Catch Fluctuation.)

  • 여수 연안 정치망 어장의 주변 해역을 중심으로 1990년 4월부터 11월까지 매월 채집해서 분석한 식물플랑크톤의 분포량과 여수수협 위판장으로부터 구한 어획량 자료등을 이용하여 여수 연안 정치망 어장의 환경요인인 식물플랑크톤의 분포량과 어획량 변동과의 관계를 분석 정리한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1) 식물성 플랑크톤의 출현량은 춘계와 추계보다 하계에 최대가 되고, 특히 육수의 유입이 많은 여수만 중 돌산연안 수역 분포량이 많고, 소리도와 세존도부근의 식물성 플랑크톤 분포량은 내만수의 확장 경향을 추정하는데 유익하게 이용될 수 있다. 2) 여수 연안 정치망에 어획되는 주요 어종의 어획량은 삼치, 갈치, 고등어, 정어리, 멸치, 전갱이 및 방어의 순이고, 어획되는 시기는 정어리와 멸치가 4~6월, 전갱이, 갈치 및 고등어는 6~10월이 였으며, 삼치는 전 어기에 걸쳐 어획되었다. 3) 여수 연안 정치망 어장의 어획량은 식물성 플랑크톤 출현량과 상관 관계가 있고, 이들 식물성 플랑크톤량은 하계 육수의 영향을 많이 받는 내만수에 최대의 출현량을 보인다. 또, 이 어장의 어획량은 하계에 많으므로 여수 연안 정치망 어장은 육수의 유입에 의해 풍부한 영양염류를 공급받는 내만수내의 이료생물의 생산력이 어획량을 좌우하는 어장의 중요한 환경요인이 될 수 있다

동해 연근해 수온의 경년변화가 방어 어획량에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Interannual Variations in Water Temperature on the Yellowtail Catch, Seriola Quinqueradiata, in the Eastern Part of the Korean Peninsula)

  • 본 연구에서는 동해 연안의 경상북도(경북)와 강원도(강원)의 정치망어업에서 31년(1980~2010)간 5~11월에 어획된 방어 어획량과 연근해 수온과의 관계를 살펴보았다. 또한, NOAA 수온 영상을 이용하여 수온의 상승과 하강 시기에 외해수의 이안 및 접안으로 인한 방어의 북상시기(5~8월)와 남하시기(9~11월)의 어획량 변동을 분석하였다. 전체 방어 어획량의 변동은 연도별 차이는 있지만 방어의 북상 시기보다 남하시기에 높은 수온의 외해수가 연안에 접안할 때 어획량이 증가였다. 연안수온의 하강기는 북상 및 남하하는 모든 시기에 경북이 강원보다 방어 어획량이 많았다. 수온 상승기는 방어 어획량의 증감이 동시에 나타났고, 남하시기의 방어 어획량은 일반적인 현상과 달리 강원이 경북보다 어획량이 많았다. 이것은 하계의 $25^{\circ}C$ 이상의 수온이 강원도까지 분포하면서 추계까지 높은 수온($20^{\circ}C$)이 지속되어 방어의 체류시간이 길어졌기 때문이다.

  • This paper tried to estimate the pass - through of exchange rate changes to export price of fishery products using export price function. The results are as follows : 1) The variable of fluctuation of exchange rate of Won(equation omitted) to Yen(equation omitted)(variable E2) is more powerful explanatory variable than that of Won to U.S. dollar to explain the fluctiation of export price of fishery products(varible $P_{t}$)- 2) The variable of fish catches(variable K $P_{t}$) is also found to be a statistically significant varible but that of producer price index is not found. 3) The variable E2 have statistically a more influence on variable $P_{t}$ than variable K $P_{t.}$ 4) The estimation shows us that 1% of fluctuation of variable E2 could result in 0.9978% of fluctuation of variable $P_{t.}$

여수연안 정치망어장의 환경요인과 어황변동에 관한 연구 - 4 . 수온 염분과 어획량 변동 - (Environmental Factors and Catch Fluctuation of Set Net Grounds in the Coastal Waters of Yosu - 4 . Water Temperature and Salinity and Fluctuation of Catch -)

  • In order to investigate the relation between the environmental properties and the catch fluctuation of set net fishing grounds located in the coastal waters of Yosu, oceanographic observations on the fishing grounds were carried out by the training ship ofYosu Fisheries University from January, 1990 to September, 1992, and the data obtained were compared with the catch data from the joint market ofYosu fisheries cooperative society from 1984 to 1993. The resuItes obtained are summerized as follows : 1. The ranges of water temperature and salinity in the fishing ground was 7.0 to $27^{\circ}C.$and 26.6 to 33.2${\textperthousand}$, and water temperature increased from March to August and decreased from September to February of following year. 2. The salinity in the fishing grounds was relatively high without significant changes from November to June of the following year. From July, however, the salinity decreased to continue a low value till September and then increased. The salinity in the fishing ground was dominated mainly by the precipitation and its variation was large at the north entrance of set net fishing ground, influenced greatly by the land waters from the river of Somjin, but small in the offshore of the fishing grounds. 3. The fishes caught by the set nets were arranged in order of catch as follows; Spanish mackerel> Horse mackerel > Sardine > Anchovy > Hair tail. The catches of Anchovy and Sardine were high in April to May and those of Hair tail in June to July, but Spanish mackerel and Horse mackerel were caught for whole period of fishing. Spanish mackerel was caught most in September and least in April and their means were largest in August and smallest in June. 4. The ranges of optimum water temperature for fishing by the set nets was 13.5 to $25^{\circ}C.$, and in the ranges the catches increased with increasing temperature. The ranges of optimum salinity for fishing varied between 25.0 and 32.0${\textperthousand}$.

제주도 한림 연안 정치망 어장의 환경특성과 어획량 변동에 관한 연구 III. 어획량변동과 환경요인 (Environmental Character and Catch Fluctuation of Set Net Ground in the Coastal Water of Hanlim in Cheju Island III. Environmental Character and Catch Fluctuation)

  • 제주도 서부 연안역인 한림 정치망어장의 해황과 어획량 변동과의 관계를 파악하기 위해 1995년$\~$1996년에 실시한 정선 및 정점조사의 수온 및 염분자료, 시계열분석, 단기변동, 해수유동상황과 1994년$\~$1996년의 한림 정치망의 어획량 변동에 관해 검토가 분석한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1) 한림 정치망에 가장 많이 잡히는 어종은 전갱이 ($69.2\%$)이고 그 다음으로 고등어 ($18.4\%$), 갈치 ($5.6\%$), 오징어($2.7\%$), 독가시치 ($1.4\%$)의 순이며. 조업기간은 5월에서 12월까지로 6월과 10월에 어획량의 피크가 있고 이중 10월에 년중 최고 어획량이 나타난다. 2) 한림 정치망에서는 밀물인 북류성분과 썰물인 남류성분이 명료히 나타나 해수의 연직혼합이 원활하고 남류의 지속기간(3시간 이상)이 길어 외측의 중$\cdot$저층수가 강하게 영향을 미쳐 어장까지 공급되어, 일별 평균수온이 낮고 염분 상승내지는 고염분수가 출현할 때 좋은 어획량을 보이는 경향이 있다. 또 대조기인 망이나 삭보다 소조기인 상$\cdot$하현에 어획량이 많g으며, 남$\~$남동풍이 3$\~$6.5m/sec정도 볼 때 호어가 나타날 가능성이 높다.

동해에서의 오징어 어황과 해황과의 관계 (Relationship between Fishing Condition of Common Squid and Oceanic Condition in the East Sea)

  • 본 연구에서는 동해의 오징어 어획량이 급증한 최근 $1990{\sim}1999$년 기간에 주목하여 동해에서의 오징어 어황 변동과 해황과의 관계를 조사하였다. 동해에서 오징어 어획량의 경년변화 특징은 1970년대부터 1980년대 초반에 감소하고 1980년대 후반에 증가하였다. 이것은 기후변화에 따른 regime shifts의 변동과 관계하는 것으로 나타났다. 월평균 어획량은 9-12월까지 풍어기, 3-5월 사이가 흉어기를 보이고, 최대 어획량은 10월에, 최소어획량은 4월에 나타났다. 해구별 안정 어장의 지표로 제시한 변동계수 (coefficient of variation) 값이 1.0 이하로 매년 안정된 어장은 구릉포 연안역과 울릉도 주변해역에서 형성되었다. 또한, 오징어의 최대 어획적수온 $16^{\circ}C$를 기준으로 한 어획적수심은 해역이 북상함에 따라 얕아졌다. 이 결과로부터 해역에 따라 조업시의 어획적수심에 대한 차등성을 둘 필요가 있음이 시사되었다. 또한, 조업 어장과 수온의 관계는 흉어기인 4월에 $10{\sim}14^{\circ}C$이고, 풍어기인 10월에 $10{\sim}20^{\circ}C$의 범위로서 오징어 어장 형성은 계절에 따른 대마난류역의 확장과 밀접하게 관련된 것으로 생각된다.

  • In order to investigate the relation between the environmental properties and catch fluctuation of set net fishing ground located in the coastal waters of Yeosu, oceanographic observation and catches on the grounds were carried out from Jan. to Dec. in 1990 and 1992. The results obtained are summarized as follows; 1) Because of the surveyed area is a costal shallow water, the fishing ground was influenced largely by atmospheric phenomena such as air temperature. precipitation. etc. and so showed large variations in temperature and salinity yearly. The inner water flowed out mainly between Yeosu ad Namhe-do, and then through Kumo-do between Dolsan-do and Kumo-do. On the other hand, off shore water was supplied into the fishing ground from the vicinity of Sori-do and Yokchi-do. thus the fishing ground was occupied usually by various sources of water. 2) The water mass in the fishing ground were divided into the inner water(29.0~30.6$\textperthousand$) and the mixed water(31,7~32.2$\textperthousand$) and off shore water(32.3~32.8$\textperthousand$) accourding to the distribution of salinity from T-S diagram plotted all salinity data observed in 1990 and 1992. In summer the inner and mixing water which was formed by river flowed southerly and spread south-easterly in the vicinity of Kumo-do. The off shore water which supplied from the vicinity of Sori-do and Yokchi-do and inner water formed the thermal front and halo front in summer. 3) The fishes caught by the set net were arranged in the order of catch amounts as follows: Spanish mackerel>Horse mackerel >Hair tail>Common mackerel> Sardine> Anchovy. The Catches of anchovy and sardine were high in April to May and those of hair tail and horse mackerel in July to September, but spanish mackerel were caught during the whole period of fishing. When inner water and mixing water appeared respectively and inner water and mixing water speared together in the set net fishing ground, the set net showed a high catch.

제주연안 각망의 조석에 의한 어획량 변동 (Catch fluctuation of the rectangular set net according to the tide age in the coastal waters of Jeju)

  • The fundamental data on the catch fluctuation in the rectangular set net according to the tide age were developed based on the catches recorded from the year 1986 to 2004 in the coastal waters of Hamdeok, Jeju. Total catch by the rectangular set net had a deep connection with the tide age. In particular, during increasing tide, total catch were reduced gradually from the neap tide to the high tide. As it turned out, the slope of total catch declined by degree and showed a correlation coefficient of determination of 0.76. On the contrary, in the case of decreasing tide, there was little sign of rise in total catch. In particular, large catch seemed to occur at the next tide to the neap tide. In the relation between the catch and the tide age, the level of the correlation coefficient chosen at $p{\leq}0.05$ decreased in the order rabbitfish(-0.84) and horse mackerel(-0.71), while the significance of other dominant species were not selected.

제주 연안의 소대망에서 조석에 의한 어획량 변동 (Catch fluctuation of the Pound Set Net According to Tide Age in the Coastal Waters of Jeju)

  • The purpose of this paper is to obtain the fundamental data on the catch fluctuation in the pound set net according to the tide age from the catch recorded from the year 1997 to 2004 in the coastal waters of Guideok, Jeju. Total catch by the pound set net had a little connection with the tide age. During increasing tide, total catch were reduced slightly from the neap tide to the high tide while there seemed to be a little sign of rise in the total catch until decreasing tide. But in the relation between the catches and the tide age, the level of the correlation coefficient chosen at $p{\le}0.05$ was not significant. Therefore, the catch of the pound set net seemed not to be influenced by the tide age. In addition, CPUE at the high tide was higher than that at the neap tide. When the catch per operating frequency was graded in the order under 50 kg, 50-100 kg and 100-200 kg, the frequency rate by the pound set net was 38%, 19% and 19%, respectively.

한국에서의 기후변화와 오징어 어획의 확장 (Climate Change and Expansion of Squid Catches in Korea)

  • Objectives: The annual catch of the common squid Todarodes pacificus in Korean coastal waters has gradually increased since the late 1980s. We investigated the long-term effects of climate variability on the variation in catches of the squid in the offshore fisheries of Korea. Methods: Moving average method, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were used to determine the relationship between the environmental factors and fluctuation in the catch of the squid during the past 30 years (1981- 2010). A ten-year moving average was calculated and used for each variable. Results: Squid catches in Korean coastal waters increased over time, and there were significant variations within every ten years (p < 0.001). Air temperature, atmospheric pressure, and wind grade among the meteorological factors, alongside sea surface temperature (SST) and concentrations of phosphate phosphorous, and nitrite/nitrate nitrogen in the sea water increased and were positively related with the catch size of squid (p < 0.001). However, salinity decreased and was negatively related with the catch size (p < 0.001). The increase in air temperature and SST was almost parallel, although there was a time lag between the two factors. Conclusion: These results suggest that there is a causal association between climate change and squid populations. Climate change, especially ocean warming, appears to have been largely favorable for squid range expansion into Korean seas. Although the expansion may be helpful for the human food supply, the safety of the squid caught should be monitored since the concentrations of phosphorous and nitrogen in the sea water increased, which indicates that Korean seas have grown gradually more polluted.
