  • Organic-inorganic hybrid lead halide perovskites have been extensively investigated for various optoelectronic applications. Particularly, owing to their ability to form highly crystalline and homogeneous films utilizing low-temperature solution processes (< $150^{\circ}C$), perovskites have become promising photoactive materials for realizing high-performance flexible solar cells. However, the current use of mesoporous $TiO_2$ scaff olds, which require high-temperature sintering processes (> $400^{\circ}C$), has limited the fabrication of perovskite solar cells on flexible substrates. Therefore, the development of a low-temperature processable charge-transporting layer has emerged as an urgent task for achieving flexible perovskite solar cells. This review summarizes the recent progress in low-temperature processable electron- and hole-transporting layer materials, which contribute to improved device performance in flexible perovskite solar cells.

  • As biosensors are widely used in the medical field, flexible devices compatible with live animals have aroused great interest. Especially, significant research has been carried out to develop implantable or skin-attachable devices for real-time bio-signal sensing. From the device point of view, various biosensor types such as field-effect transistors (FETs) and multi-electrode arrays (MEAs) have been reported as diverse sensing strategies. In particular, the flexible FETs and MEAs allow semiconductor engineering to expand its application, which had been impossible with stiff devices and materials. This review summarizes the state-of-the-art research on flexible FET and MEA biosensors focusing on their materials, structures, sensing targets, and methods.

  • This article introduces developing trends of an 'Ubiquitous Interface' as an access method for use of various network resources, such as public wireless networks and un-licensed wireless networks in ubiquitous sensor network environments, without troublesome settings or operations by users. 'Ubiquitous Interface' is a relatively wide sense meaning not only physical interface of specified device or between processors, but anything method for access USN. These 'Ubiquitous Interface' able to provide seamless services that adapt autonomously to the user's movements and changes in the state of wireless resources. Recently, strongly recommended current technologies are RFID, NFC, Multi-mode mobile terminal, UMA mobile terminal and Wearable computer as a future ubiquitous interface. These technologies are have to have flexibility and multiple physical communication channels for seamless service hand over and serve easy connection at huge USN to user. Also, they have to must have flexible software structure. Finally, through the 'Ubiquitous Interface', we will be experience of seamless communication and realize a real liberty of communication.

  • Since flexible adhesives are used more and more in structural applications, designers should have a better understanding of its behaviour under various conditions as ultimate load, fatigue load, long-term load and environmental conditions. This paper focuses on long-term load conditions and its effect on flexible adhesives. The creep properties of both PU (PolyUrethane) and SMP (Silyl Modified Polymers) adhesives used for identical applications are considered. To investigate the creep behaviour tests under various conditions were done. The results of those tests are presented and compared. To evaluate these results an empirical method is proposed and discussed. An example illustrates the potential of this method. It is also shown that with use of a probabilistic calibration technique this method results into a simple rule, which can be used to calculate the creep for practical applications. For the studied adhesives, the creep performance of the SMP adhesive is shown to be of the same level or slightly better than of the two PU adhesives. In addition to this empirical method, the principles of a more complex theoretical based method are introduced. The potential of this method is illustrated and future research activities are drawn.

  • The concept of surface has become more relative and more relationship-oriented based upon interaction between spaces as the traditional realm of perception succumbed to that of a more flexible, open perspective. If surface characteristics are consideredas an interface, an interface with individual characteristics will form part of the whole and will become an element in the whole (the environment), manifesting itself as a medium incorporated in an architectural space. This authorintends to understand interface not as a mere intermediary space but as an intervening border that allows exchanges between different environments and as a medium that allows expressions of aesthetic order through organic order. Also, it is the Intention of this author to grasp extended meanings of interface.

  • The paper highlights technical advances and introduces recent innovations such as smart curing laminating adhesives for flexible packaging with low migration rates of aromatic isocyanates and amines. Latent reactive one-part systems on the basis of surface deactivated solid isocyanates open up new dimensions for heat setting adhesives and waterborne PU dispersions. The new generation of Purmelt Micro Emission adhesives contains less than 0.1% of MDI monomer, thereby drastically reducing the emission of hazardous isocyanate vapors during processing and setting a significantly improved technical standard in occupational safety. Once again, polyurethane adhesives have demonstrated their unique ability to adapt to new process, product, safety and environmental requirements.

  • In this study, the internal structure of an optical waveguide embedded in a flexible optical circuit board is observed with a confocal microscope. In order to increase the light reflection from an internal material interface with a very small index difference, and thus enhance the signal contrast, a theta microscopy scheme has been integrated into a conventional confocal microscope, and a high NA oil-immersion lens has been used. The interface reflectivity is increased from roughly 0.0015% to 0.025% by the proposed method, and the internal structure can thus be successfully measured.

  • This study is carried out to develop the new process for the fabrication of ultra-fine electrodes on the flexible substrates using superhydrophobic effect. A facile method was developed to form the ultra-fine trenches on the flexible substrates treated by plasma etching and to print the fine metal electrodes using conductive nano-ink. Various plasma etching conditions were investigated for the hydrophobic surface treatment of flexible polyimide (PI) films. The micro-trench on the hydrophobic PI film fabricated under optimized conditions was obtained by mechanical scratching, which gave the hydrophilic property only to the trench area. Finally, the patterning by selective deposition of ink materials was performed using the conductive silver nano-ink. The interface between the conductive nanoparticles and the flexible substrates were characterized by scanning electron microscope. The increase of the sintering temperature and metal concentration of ink caused the reduction of electrical resistance. The sintering temperature lower than $200^{\circ}C$ resulted in good interfacial bonding between Ag electrode and PI film substrate.
