  • Using the fixed point method, we prove the generalized Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability of the following functional equation in multi-Banach spaces: $${\sum_{1{\leq}i_<j{\leq}n}}\;f(\frac{r_ix_i+r_jx_j}{k})=\frac{n-1}{k}{\sum_{i=1}^n}r_if(x_i)$$.

  • Using the fixed point method, we prove the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of the following cubic-quadratic functional equation $$(0.1)\;\frac{1}{2}(f(2x+y)+f(2x-y)-f(-2x-y)-f(y- 2x))\\{\hspace{35}}=2f(x+y)+2f(x-y)+4f(x)-8f(-x)-2f(y)-2f(-y)$$ in fuzzy Banach spaces.

  • A common fixed point result for weakly increasing mappings satisfying generalized contractive type in ordered partial S-metric spaces are derived. Also as an application of our results we consider a couple integral equations.to guarantee the existence of a common solution.

  • New fixed Point results for the (equation omitted) selfmaps ale given. The analysis relies on a factorization idea. The notion of an essential map is also introduced for a wide class of maps. Finally, from a new fixed point theorem of ours, we deduce some equilibrium theorems.

  • We study the existence of positive solutions of second order nonlinear separated boundary value problems of superlinear as well as sublinear type without imposing monotonicity restrictions on the problem. The type of problem investigated cannot be analyzed using the linearization about the trivial solution because either it does not exist (the sublinear case) or is trivial (the superlinear case). The results follow from a known fixed point theorem by noticing that the concavity of the solutions provides an important condition for the applicability of the fixed point result.

  • In this paper, we firstly introduce the class of C*-algebra valued symmetric spaces and utilize the same to prove our fixed point results. We furnish an example to highlight the utility of our main result. Finally, we apply our result to examine the existence and uniqueness of a solution for a system of Fredholm integral equations.

  • In 2008, Al-Thaga and Shahzad [Generalized I-nonexpansive selfmaps and invariant approximations, Acta Math. Sinica, 24(5) (2008), 867-876] introduced the notion of occasionally weakly compatible mappings in metric spaces. In this paper, we prove some common fixed point theorems for families of occasionally weakly compatible mappings in Menger spaces using an implicit relation. We also give an illustrative example to support our main result.
