This study is a qualitative case study of 5 substance abusers recovered from drug addiction. It is useful socially and practically to understand about the rehabilitation and its process of recovering from drug addiction. Since this study deals with very private and sensitive issues, qualitative research approach is suitable. Data were collected through one to one in-depth interviews, and were analyzed by using analysis within/cross cases suggested by Creswell(2007). 5 individual cases were presented including substance addicts experiences and recovery process through within-cases analysis. Based on the within-cases analysis, common themes were presented through cross-cases analysis. Total 19 themes, related with recovery from substance addicts, were derived from the five individual cases, and 4 common themes were classified. These 4 common themes were first, recovery of sense of reality, second, taking self-existing pattern, third, self reconstruction in the context of social network, fourth, self-love. Based on the study results and discussions, practical implications were suggested to help persons claiming recovery from substance addicts for their recovery and rehabilitation.

This study was conducted to examine the resources that influence the choice of drop-out students' reentry to school. A total of five years of panel analysis of 2,553 drop-out teenagers from 2013 to 2017 were utilized. In order to verify the resources that affect the choice of school reentry of teenagers with experiences of suspension of studies to formal middle and high school after July 2012, this study analyzed drop-out teenagers' family resources as well as their psychological, mental, and social-relationship resources. A crossover analysis, t-test, and hierarchical logistic regression analysis were conducted. The major outcomes of this study are as follows: First, the socio-demographic variables among the resources that affected the choice of reentry for school of teenager children were the type of family and number of moves to a new house. Second, the psychological and sentimental variable that affected the choice of school reentry was a decreasing level of positive recognition of the situation of suspension of studies combined with depression, impulsiveness, and perceiving society as one that discriminates based on the level of education. Third, significant family resource variables were the type of family form and parents providing economic support, which is a subfactor of parental attachment. Fourth, the presence of a mentor as a helpful social-relationship resource had a significant effect on relational resources. This study is significant in the sense that the positive family resources that affect the choice of school reentry of drop-out teenage students were determined, and the positive directivity of supportive family resources is presented for parents with teenage children experiencing a suspension of studies.
This study examined the impact of direct structured approach of students who demonstrate little or no sense of basic engineer concepts in physics courses. This direct structured instruction is one of the methodologies that focuses on explicit and systematic practices in which an instructor set clear learning outcomes and clarifies the direction of the instruction. 90 participants were randomly selected and tested on the areas of problem-solving skills, reasoning, working memory, and processing speed. 20% of the participants were found to be students with basic engineering disabilities. On the other hand, in the direct structured group, 51.7% and 58.0% of the sample group (90 students) showed a 6.3% increase from the mid-term to final examinations, respectively. The subgroups with 50% or lower grades were decreased from 26.7% to 24.5%. However, five students with the lowest grade of 20% were selected as students with learning disabilities in the study and the average scores of mid-term and final exams were increased by 8.6%, which was 17.9% and 26.5%, respectively at the end of the study. As a result, it showed that direct structured approach for students with learning disabilities in the engineer concepts was effective.
Previous emotion studies revealed the two core affective dimensions of valence and arousal using affect-eliciting stimuli, such as pictures, music, and videos. Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR), a type of stimuli that has emerged recently, produces a sense of psychological stability and calmness. We explored whether ASMR could be represented on the core affect dimensions. In this study, we used three affective types ASMR (negative, neutral, and positive) as stimuli. Auditory ASMR videos were used in Study 1, while auditory and audiovisual ASMR videos were used in Study 2. Participants were asked to rate how they felt about the ten adjectives using five-point Likert scales. Multidimensional scaling (MDS) and classification analyses were performed. The results of the MDS showed that distinctions between auditory and audiovisual ASMR videos were represented well in the valence dimension. Additionally, the results of the classification showed that affective conditions within and across individuals for within- and cross-modalities. Thus, we confirmed that the affective representations for individuals could be predicted and that the affective representations were consistent between individuals. These results suggest that ASMR videos, including other affect-eliciting videos, were also located in the core affect dimension space, supporting the core affect theory (Russell, 1980).

This study was done clarify the concept of clinical nurse's self-efficacy. This study was conducted using Walker & Avant's concept analysis framework, There were five aspects of the concept of Clinical Nurse's Self-Efficacy: To have faith and expectation that nurses can overcome stress and adversity in the clinical environment, To have a clear direction by believing that nurses themselves have the ability to perform nursing tasks, Allowing nurses to continue their work by believing that they have appropriate judgment to control various situations in clinical practice, Having a challenging sense of goal and motivating for the future through active participation in nursing work, and influencing various aspects from individual nurses to patients and hospital organizations. This conceptual analysis of clinical nurses' self-efficacy can recognize the need to prepare an educational system to improve nurses' self-efficacy and conduct related research.
In this stage when K-Pop and K-Fashion have been drawing global attention, it is required to activate the Korean culture and fashion by developing fashion products which reinterpret various items in the Hanbok fields with modern sense in connection with Korean wave. Thus, this study aims to develop fashion products related to Korean wave with court dance costumes used in court banquets, which may be the origin of K-Pop, as the main theme, and to converge and expand culture and fashion fields. To this end, the original court dance costumes and their modern forms continuing in these days were analyzed and the costumes for Musanhyang, Yeonhwadae, Cheoyongmu, Chundaeokchok and Chunaengjeon differentiated from existing daily Hanbok were selected. The fashion products related to Korean wave reflecting the specific elements of those five costumes were designed. Then, the silhouette and sizes of those costumes were checked using the CLO, the 3D virtual clothing program and total 5 fashion products were created. In conclusion, the results of this paper will contribute on making Korean design popular on the design aspects, expanding the scope of Korean wave contents on the industrial aspects and globalizing the K-Fashion on the global aspects.
In this study, we explored the meaning of astronomical observation activities of five earth science teachers through in-depth interviews. Semi-structured interviews were conducted after providing a questionnaire based on Seidman's three-step process of interview. By analyzing the interview transcript, the educational implications inherent in astronomical observation activities were extracted. Teachers have constructed systematic basis of observation and astronomy in the observational astronomy and laboratory class during their course in the teacher education institute. After they became in-service teachers, practical know-hows of astronomical observation activities in schools were developed with the help of colleagues. By designing and executing astronomical observation activities for students, teachers notice positive changes in the cognitive domain, affective domain, and career perception of the students. Hence, teachers consider that astronomical observation activities have great educational effects. In addition, astronomical activities appear to be very rewarding and satisfying experiences to teachers, by providing opportunities for having pride as an earth science teacher. However, teachers tend to find difficulties in operating astronomical observation activities in fields, due to both internal and external obstacles. It is found that the removal of internal obstacles is more important for teachers to attempt or to continue astronomical observation activities. In this sense, it is necessary to support teachers by providing timely training courses with related content, as well as opportunities to share their experiences within a peer group such as teachers' research society.

For example, American children's films represented by Disney are mainly aimed at satisfying the joys of children and families.Chinese children's films place more importance on the educational role of children. Although the purpose is different, children's films in the general sense are films that main audiences are children and are created for children. Children's films in Iran differ greatly from ordinary children's films. It indirectly expresses the creator's intention by reflecting reality while looking at the adult world through the eyes of children. This special function is a children's visual language that indirectly conveys the creator's thoughts. The use of children's perspective is a kind of special strategy, paving the way for Iranian films to survive in a special creative environment, and creating unique characteristics of Iranian films. Among the numerous Iranian directors who make children's films, Majid Majidi is one of the representative directors with personal characteristics. Of his nine Iranian films written and directed, five are children's films.At the same time, in his other Iranian films, we can more or less see the traces of children and children's perspective of the narrative and performance.Looking at the use of children's vision in Iranian films, the use of children's vision in Iranian films began with children's films and developed in Iranian children's films and other genres of Iranian films.
The purpose of this study was to have a phenomenological understanding of the experiences in the marital relationship after the first baby is born. For this purpose, thirteen couples (marriage duration of less than five years; within three years of the child birth) were recruited and semi-structured interviews were conducted. The interview data were analyzed through the open coding, axial coding, and selective coding. In the next step, we derived the marital relationship paradigm after the first baby arrived. The causal/situational conditions that caused changes in the marital relationship were the parenting burden and the marital adjustment level. The central phenomena were parenting and housework burden, which were moderated by the husbands' support. The action/interaction strategies were couple's high awareness and acceptance for their new role and pursuit of the shared meaning of the family. When the strategies were successful, a deeply satisfying feeling and shared values could be obtained. Finally, we identified the core category to integrate of other categories into a conceptual framework, and that is 'the awareness and acceptance for their new role and the pursuit of a sense of We-ness'.
This study examines the vocational adjustment experiences of elderly men who chose a creative occupation after retirement. The aims are to understand the related meanings and to provide specific empirical data on the elderly who hope to start a creative occupation. Five men aged 65 years or older who chose a creative occupation after retirement were enrolled in the study. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the participants. The collected data were qualitatively analyzed, and a total of 7 categories, 25 subcategories, and 132 concepts were identified. The seven categories were "challenge led by a sense of freedom," "reflection of the need for 'fun,'" "difficulties and limitations felt by a non-expert," "concerns and effort to afford the increasing expenses," "joy for accomplishment," "ways to utilize my creativity," and "reward from increased social participation." The participants felt that adjusting to a creative occupation was a process by which their potential creativity was expressed. They felt the joy of working that they had not felt before, and the series of processes by which they overcame difficulties during work and increased their social participation were in line with the goals of creative aging. In order to help older adults in Korea to choose and adjust to creative occupations in their older adulthood, there is a need for creative-occupation-related education prior to retirement and for various policies and practical efforts that consider the change of social environment. Furthermore, our findings suggest that choosing a creative occupation after retirement is an effective measure for promoting successful aging among the elderly in Korea.
