Purpose: This study was conducted to identify factors affecting health promotion behaviors of upper grade elementary students. Methods: A descriptive study was carried out with 282 fifth or sixth elementary school students from two cities, Korea. Data were collected using self-administrative questionnaires containing items on health knowledge, attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavior control and health promotion behavior, and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, Pearson Correlation Coefficients, and multiple regression analysis with the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. Results: There were significant positive correlations between health promotion behavior and health knowledge (r=.36, p<.001), attitudes (r=.41, p<.001), subjective norms (r=.36, p<.001), perceived behavior control (r=.49, p<.001). Perceived behavior control (${\beta}=.38$, p<.001), health knowledge (${\beta}=.26$, p<.001), perceived health status - good (${\beta}=.15$, p=.005) were significant factors affecting health promotion behavior and explained 31%(F=43.29, p<.001) of variance. Conclusion: Results indicate that level of health promotion behavior is appropriate and perceived behavior control is the most important factor for health promotion behavior among the predictors. These findings also suggest that it is necessary to promote perceived behavior control and health knowledge in developing health promotion intervention programs for these students, as well as a need to strengthen education on sex behavior and health, accident prevention and first aid.

We usually encounter Electro-magnetics phenomenons and only feel some part of that, but it is hard to feel it visually. Moreover understanding physically and quantitatively is not a easy work. These electrostatic field theory, magnetostatic field theory and interchange magnetic field theory combined with electromagnetic field are formulated experimentally and theoretically by James Clerk Maxwell in 1873. Electromagnetic field takes electro-magnetic phenomenons as a expansion of formula originated in Maxwell equations. Since this is based on expansion of formula, it is hard to understand for many students not only middle school and high school students learning it at the first time but also college students studying physics as a elementary class and even majors in electromagnetic field. The program is developed as a visual aid to cope with these problems, and even to deal with complex problem to estimate solution using numerical method.
This study targeted 125 prospective early childhood teachers at G University in G Metropolitan City to investigate their perceptions of safety care practices. The collected data were analyzed using One-way ANOVA and Scheffe's post hoc test. As a result of the study, there was a statistically significant difference in the overall awareness of safe care practices of prospective early childhood teachers according to grade. Statistically significant differences were found in the sub-factors 'Life Safety', 'Traffic Safety', 'Violence and Personal Safety', 'Drugs and Cyber Addiction', and 'Disaster Safety'. On the other hand, there was no statistically significant difference in 'occupational safety' and 'first aid'. Through these results, Through these results, we aim to increase safety competency by measuring safety care practices, expand practical training opportunities for prospective early childhood teachers, develop various media, and above all, improve class operation and content related to safety in early childhood teacher training courses. Based on this, we aim to provide basic data to develop a pre-service early childhood teacher education program.
The purposes of this study which was done by questionnaire survey and case study of First Aid Certification Program in Seoul Health College were to analyze results and effects of the college financial support program from Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development. The significant 164 data were collected from 300 professors in 8 colleges having the Department of Emergency Care from Oct. 1, 2002 to Dec. 31, 2002 and analyzed using SPSS in terms of t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and so on. The conclusions and suggestions from this study were summarized as follows; (1) Degree of acknowledgement about aims, contents, results of the college financial support program was above the middle(participants 4.21, non-participants 3.63) and higher relation than the others in case of participants(r:0.32 p<0.001), planning team(r:0.22 p<0.05). (2) Degree of acknowledgement about improvement of curriculum & educational facilities through the program was above the middle and higher relation than the others in case of participants. (3) Degree of acknowledgement about positive influence on acquirement rate of certification(licence) & job through the program was above the middle and performance & adaptation at work place was higher relation than the others in case of participants. (4) Degree of acknowledgement about positive influence on improvement of learning of student's major through the program was above the middle and higher relation than the others in case of participants. (5) The respondents thought that the program had a negative influence on professor's educational activities & research such as study 40.4%, lecture 23.1%, student guidance 12.5%. (6) When the program was administered by planning team, there were difficulties such as execution of budget 42.1%, cooperation with companies 17.1%, cooperation among program teams 11.8%, when it was administered by non-planning team there were difficulties such as execution of budget 45.5%, cooperation among departments 22.7%, cooperation with companies 13.6%.
