The purpose of this study was to identify the relationships between Healthy Family Support Center (HFSC) program participation and family strengths and program needs based on HFSC participants' individual, family, and community characteristics. A total of 695 HFSC participants who were married and had participated in HFSC programs were recruited through 25 local HFSCs in Seoul. A multiple regression method was conducted for data analysis. The major findings are as follows. Family strengths was related to the variables of age, education, monthly household income, and participation in family counseling and sharing family care programs. In terms of program needs, the variables of marital conflict, difficulty in care, financial distress, family strengths, and family-friendly community were associated with HFSC program needs while participants' socio-demographic characteristics were not related to program needs. This study highlights that HFSC programs have different target populations considering that the level of family strengths was different among the various programs' participants. In addition, program needs are different depending upon the HFSC participants' experiences in the family and community. These findings suggest that it is important to consider participants' family and community characteristics as well as participants' socio-demographic characteristics to provide appropriate programs for all HFSC participants.
The purpose of this study is to objectively grasp the effect of the engineering education innovation support project among the national engineering-related financial support projects by dividing the groups according to the participation of support projects from 2018 to 2020 and dividing the university performance. As a result of the research the engineering education innovation support project has been consistently producing excellent results of field-based engineering education such as field-oriented industrial-educational collaboration capstone design, technology commercialization, and development and operation of corporate-linked education. It was found that the results showed that the dropout rate of college were lowered. In the future, it needs to be prepared as a place for new and free trials, innovations, and opportunities so that the engineering education innovation support projects can become the mother of other business groups.

As the competitiveness of SMEs (small and medium enterprises) is getting more and more improved and globalized, the government provides various consulting services to secure the competitiveness of small and medium firms and support stable growth. However, the assessment of the result from the government's support is generally focused on non-financial factors, such as customer satisfaction and analysis of improvement effect. This paper is in regards to the statistical analysis of how much the government's support in the form of providing consulting services contributes to financial outcomes in terms of profitability and growth. ROA (return on asset) and ROS (return on sales), which are investment profitability and sales profitability respectively, are chosen as an indicator of profitability. For analysis of growth, sales revenue and total asset growth are used. The samples are 44 corporations which are supported by government, and 150 corporations which are selected for comparison, with corporate growth support center program by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy chosen as the consulting model. After gathering the yearly balance sheets and income statements of the samples from CRETOP, Korea Enterprise Data, the analysis is conducted in the way of identifying the statistical significance of financial difference in the same period between corporates taking consulting services and corporates which have not, and the difference of financial outcomes from the corporates taking consulting services before and after consulting services. As a result, in terms of business growth, it is turned out to have positive difference both in growth ratio and profitability compared to the compared corporations at the significant level. Therefore, it is obvious that the consulting program which government provides to SMEs have direct influence practically to the corporates' management performance.

As Korea strive to bolster their respective economies and to minimize the repercussions of the global financial crisis, policies for strengthening the innovative capabilities of small and medium enterprises have emerged as an important means for pursuing these governmental efforts. In this study, possibilities and limitations of R&D information support policy are researched empirically and implications are provided to enable evidence based policy. Futhermore, the effects of government R&D information support policy on the technological and economic performances of SMEs (small and medium enterprises) are analyzed by using survey results of SMEs technology statistics in 2014. According to the results, R&D information support program (SME R&D planning support program and technology information support program) provided to SMEs was significant for R&D investment. On the other hand, the program, did not exhibit any significant correlation to technological and economic outcomes of SME. The program was also found to have a significant correlation to SMEs' technological outcomes in the case of the specific groups of ICT technology category. I anticipate that the results of this study will serve as a guide to various policy-related issues for policymakers who are conceptualizing programs to support ICT technology-oriented SMEs, and I particularly hope that this study will provide various insights for companies and researchers in their efforts to build R&D information support program for SMEs.
This study examines the effects of participation purpose, corporate readiness, and acceptance of changes that may occur in the course of expert guidance on the performance of smart factory. For this study, 129 questionnaires obtained from SMEs participating in the Smart Meister support project were used, and SPSS 18.0 and the AMOS 18.0 program were used for statistical processing for empirical analysis of the hypotheses test. It was found that the company's business participation motivation and readiness status had a significant effect on the acceptance and cooperation of changes that occurred during the consulting process. In addition, the acceptance and cooperation of changes within the company had a significant effect on the satisfaction with the Meister support project and the financial performance. Companies participating in the Meister support project need to clarify their motives for participating in the project and make stable corporate readiness in advance. In addition, based on the CEO's support, it is necessary to have a motivational program and to build an organizational culture that can actively accept innovation.

Universities contribute to the development of the country and society by cultivating professional manpower with knowledge and qualifications as democratic citizens through education and research activities. To this end, the government is improving the basic capabilities of universities and supporting autonomous innovation through university financial support projects. Since the financial support project differentially supports the government's finances limited to universities with a comparative advantage through fair evaluation, the role and function of the university library, a basic educational facility and core institution that supports education and research, is important. However, university libraries have not been able to actively participate in the government's financial support projects due to financial and manpower shortages, poor environments such as facilities, facilities, and spaces, and low participation rates for students. Therefore, this study investigated and analyzed the program operation cases of 18 university libraries in which libraries participated among 45 universities selected for the ACE project (2010-2016), derived problems and implications, and questioned the roles and achievements of university libraries. Based on the results, strategies and measures to be considered by university libraries in preparation for the government's university financial support projects were proposed.
Model-based decision support system (DSS) has acted as a crucial role in strengthening the business competitiveness by providing a way of modeling and solving real-world decision problems in a quantitative and scientific manner. It is even more important for trading OTC derivatives, which requires extensive financial-engineering expertise while actively reacting to the continuously changing financial market. This paper proposes a flexible model-based DSS architecture that can support user-friendly interface for executing and analyzing the models and can adapt to the changes of financial market seamlessly. For user-friendliness, we implement the user-interfaces (UIs) using Microsoft Excel, a very widely used spreadsheet program for its great generality and extensibility. Users can utilize the analysis results of DSS or reprocess them for their special needs through the UIs in the form of familiar spreadsheets easily. For adaptiveness to the markets, the proposed architecture is constructed based on the object-oriented concepts, which enables such changes as release of a new financial product can be updated into the system without any delay at the lowest cost. We investigate the practical benefits and limitations of the proposed architecture by a case study on the construction of Model-based Trading Support System (MTSS), performed by a commercial bank in Korea.

This study investigates the effects of the degree of preparation engaged in the related industry, and the amount of financial support program on R&D performance of technology based startup companies. This study seeks to discover the core variables that impacts most on business performance. However, it should be noted that the validity of such variables and their impacts on business performance can be contentious. The study sets hypothetical variables as following. Intensity of preparation of the startup company, amount of preparation and amount of work experience in related industry are independent variable. The amount of financial support program was selected as a moderating mediating variable. According to the results, the intensity of preparation had a positive relationship with R&D performance, as opposed to work experience of the founder having a negative relationship on R&D performance. The amount of support program had no significant relationship with R&D performance. Furthermore, there are negative modified effect between the amount of support program and work experience. And, there is no relationship modified effect between support program and work experience. Existing policies tend to lean heavily toward young entrepreneurs through support and guidance. The government has placed great emphasis on policies that aim to promote and create jobs for young individuals. The results suggest that the government should review their policies toward young technological entrepreneurs and that these entrepreneurs should prepare thoroughly before launching any startups.
The government provides various support systems for small-medium companies who perform a vital role for hiring and manufacturing: focusing on activating of start-up. Various governmental supports have been made and these entrepreneurship support systems have been contributed a certain point to start-up activation. Based on precedent study, this study has been setup the independent variables as five factors: mainly tax support system, financial support system, technology support system, management support system, self-employment infrastructure support program and empirically completed with the hypothesis how independent variables affect entrepreneurial intention. In this study, surveys which consist of measurements and questions allowing drawing variables and verifying the relationship between variables, and empirical study methods that prove in accordance with statistics process of measured data were implemented. To conclude, the results are as follows. It was showed in supplemental analysis performed through path analysis that tax support system and financial support system influence entrepreneurial intention.

The purpose of this study was to provide the basic data required for the development and operation of high-quality education programs for newly married couples. The subjects were 60 education programs for newly married couples that were performed by 30 Healthy Family Support Centers in Seoul and the Gyeonggi area. The collected data were analyzed by applying appropriateness, efficiency, and effectiveness on the basis of program plan, execution, and evaluation. The results were as follows. First, the appropriateness of the program plans was no center that performed need survey. As for program advertisement, on-line, off-line, and person -to-person advertisements were used. Second, the education goals and contents were classified according to healthy family life, the essence of the marriage, gender equality, conflict management, problem prevention, relationship improvement, understanding of mutual similarities or differences, financial plan and management, and parenting. Each session lasted 2 hours, and the total number of program hours was 5 to 6 hours. The education methods were activities, lectures, and discussions.
