  • In the case of the Back EMF voltage contains the harmonics, the motor torque ripple and vibration is occurred by the current pulsation, because IPMSM control algorithm is the model which is assumed that it contains a sinusoidal Back EMF voltage. To improve ride quality, in the case of IPMSM for EV, improving the torque control characteristics is necessary. Therefore, there is a need to minimize the influence of the harmonics. In this paper, the investigation to decrease the current distortion factor has been performed for improving torque control characteristics by applying the non-sinusoidal Back EMF to IPMSM model.

  • A controller using a multilayer neural network is proposed to the dynamic control of a PUMA 560 robot arm. This controller is developed based on an error back-propagation (BP) neural network. Since the neural network can model an arbitrary nonlinear mapping, it is used as a commanded feedforward torque generator. A Proportional Derivative (PD) feedback controller is used in parallel with the feedforward neural network to train the system. The neural network was trained by the current state of the manipulator as well as the PD feedback error torque. No a priori knowledge on system dynamics is needed and this information is rather implicitly stored in the interconnection weights of the neural network. In another experiment, the neural network was trained with the current, past and future positions only without any use of velocity sensors. Form this thim window of position values, BP network implicitly filters out the velocity and acceleration components for each joint. Computer simulation demonstrates such powerful characteristics of the neurocontroller as adaptation to changing environments, robustness to sensor noise, and continuous performance improvement with self-learning.

  • 기존의 속도센서가 없는 유도전동기의 고정자자속 기준제어 구동시스템에서, 추정된 속도는 저역통과필터의 사용으로 과도기에 지연이 생긴다. 이 지연으로 인한 응답속도의 과도한 오버슈트를 방지하기 위하여 속도제어기의 이득은 작아야 하는데, 이 때문에 부하토크의 영향을 크게 받게 된다. 본 논문에서는 부하토크 관측기와 전향제어를 사용하여 속도센서가 없는 시스템을 위한 강인한 속도제어기를 설계하였다.

  • We have developed the power assistive leg called HAL (Hybrid Assistive Leg) which provide the walking aid for walking disorder persons or aged persons without nursing person. We developed HAL-3 by considering some problems of HAL-1,2 which had developed previously. The mechanism of HAL-3 actuator could be simplified and sophisticated by using the harmonic drive. As the control signal of HAL-3 EMG signal was used. We proposed a calibration method to identify parameters which relates the EMG to joint torque by using HAL-3.   • This paper deals with the development and application of control algorithms for series elastic relief robots for rescue operations in harsh environment like disasters or battlefield. The joint controller applied in this paper has a cascade structure combining inner loop for torque control and outer loop for position control. The torque loop contains feedforward and feedback controller and disturbance observer for independent, decentralized joint control. The effect of the elastic component and motor dynamics are treated as the nonlinear disturbance and compensated with the disturbance observer of torque controller. For the collision detection, Band Designed Disturbance Observer is configured to recognize/respond to external disturbance robustly in the continuously changing environment. The controller is applied to a 7-dof series elastic manipulator to evaluate the torque tracking and collision detection/response performance.

  • A robust position tracking controller of the BLDDM sensitive to the load torque disturbance and inertia variation is constructed It is consisted of the linear feedback controller and the nonlinear feedforward compensator using the neural network. With effietive feedforward compensation of neural network, the robust position control can be obtained, which is verified by computer simulations.

  • 고기동 위성은 영상획득수량 등의 주요 임무성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 진보된 위성으로, 특히 지구관측분야에서 그 수요가 꾸준히 증대되고 있다. 본 논문은 고-토크 리액션휠을 장착한 위성의 기동성능을 높일 수 있는 자세제어 기법을 연구한다. 크게 3가지의 서로 독립된 방법을 제안하며, 위성 자세제어 시스템에 따라 모든 방법을 적용하거나 1-2개 방법만 적용하는 것도 가능하다. 각 방법을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫 번째로, 기존 피드백 제어기에 피드포워드(자세명령) 입력을 추가한 피드포워드/피드백 제어기를 소개하고 그 장단점을 요약한다. 두 번째로, 리액션휠 클러스터의 토크/모멘텀 용량을 최대한 활용하는 방법을 제안한다. 세 번째로, 마찰토크를 보상하는 토크기반 리액션휠 제어기법을 소개한다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 기존 피드백 제어기에 비해, 피드포워드/피드백 제어기를 적용 시 기동성이 향상됨을 확인하였다. 특히, 기동각이 클 때, 정착시간 감소가 두드러짐을 확인하였다.

3상(相) 유도전동기(誘導電動機)의 토크 및 속도제어(速度制御)에 관한 연구(硏究) (A Study on Torque and Speed Control of Three Phase Induction Motor)

  • In general, the electromagnetic transient phenomenon always exists in induction motor(IM) with the torque change. The control performance of IM is very worse than that of D.C motor owing to this transient phenomenon. So many studies about the elimination methods of the transient phenomenon have been making progress. Interesting methods of them are the Field acceleration method(FAM) and the method of impulse addition on the input voltage at the time point of torque change. In this paper, first, the circuit equation of IM is derived from the phase segregation method. The torque equation consisted of the stator and rotor currents is derived from the solving of the circuit equation. As we well known, the transient terms exist in this the torque equation. The method of impulse addition on the input voltage at the instance of torque change is confirmed theoretically for the elimination of the transient phenomenon. With the base on it, the author proposed a real time algorithm to eliminate the transient terms. The control system is consisted of the PI controller with the feedforward of torque change. The author could confirm that the quick stepwise responses of torque and speed can be obtained from response simulations.

저가형 BLDCM 구동장치를 이용한 정밀위치제어 (Precise position control with a low cost BLDCM drive)

  • In this paper a simple method of a position control for brushless DC motor is presented. For precise position control, a high performance torque controller is needed and a novel current control method is proposed. The current controller detects the uncommutating mode current for every 60.deg. (elec. angle) and controls it with PI controller. The current control loop includes the feedforward of back EMF and the feedforward of the neutral voltage between the neutral point of the inverter and the neutral point of the machine. In the position control, the acceleration pattern is calculated from the position reference. Then the speed trajectory is calculated from the acceleration pattern. The experimental results are presented to verify the proposed methods.
