3차원 스캔을 이용한 터널계측의 경제성에 관한 연구 (A Study of Economic Aspects on 3-D Scanning Measurement during Tunnel Construction)

  • D&B(Drill & Blast) 공법은 터널 시공시 현장지반조건에 대한 신속한 대응능력이 장점으로서, 정보화 시공에 의한 피드백해석(feedback analysis)이 필수적이며 이때 터널변위에 대한 신속하고 정확한 계측이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 터널내공변위 계측에 있어서의 기존계측 사례와 첨단 IT기법을 이용한 계측사례의 비교 분석을 통한 적용성을 분석하고자 하며 적용성 평가를 위해 00지하철 현장에서 내공침하 비교계측실험을 실시하였다. 또한, 계측비용, 계측빈도, 계측간격, 계측기간, 계측소요시간 등을 평가항목으로 선정하여 실제 현장터널의 내공 및 천단변위 계측시 소요되는 계측 용역의 내역자료를 통해 경제성을 분석하였다. 따라서 터널 시공시 기존방법에 비해 보다 안전하고 경제적인 시공에 기여함으로써 첨단 IT기법을 응용한 레이저스캐너의 현장 적용성이 높다고 판단된다.

술기 수행 평가에서 평가자의 유형별 피드백이 간호대학생의 자가 평가의 정확성, 정서반응, 자기효능감, 인지하는 피드백의 질에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Examiner's Verbal Feedback on Nursing Students' Accuracy of Self-assessment, Emotional Response, Self-efficacy, and Perceived Quality of Feedback in Skill Performance Assessment)

  • Purpose: In this study, effects of positive, negative, and mixed verbal feedback were examined for accuracy of self-assessment, emotional responses, self-efficacy, and perceived quality of feedback in skill performance assessment. Methods: Participants were a convenience sample of 104 second-year nursing students who had completed their fundamentals of nursing class. Participants were assigned randomly to a positive, a negative or a mixed feedback group. All participants completed the performance measure and then received the assigned the type of feedback from an evaluator. After delivery of feedback, they assessed their own performance using the same sheet as the evaluator and completed the survey for emotional response, self-efficacy for learning, and quality of feedback. Results: There were no significant differences in accuracy of self-assessment and perceived quality of feedback among the three groups ($x^2=4.74$, p=.094; $x^2=3.30$, p=.192, respectively). The negative feedback group had significantly lower self-efficacy and positive emotions and more negative emotions than the other two groups (F=9.43, p=.009; $x^2=16.29$, p<.001; $x^2=5.69$, p=.005, respectively). Conclusion: Negative feedback can affect emotions and motivations for learning in nursing students and may interfere with the effectiveness of feedback, so instructors should pay more attention when providing negative feedback. Mixed feedback with an effect similar to positive feedback could be an alternative.

Constraints on cosmology and baryonic feedback by the combined analysis of weak lensing and galaxy clustering with the Deep Lens Survey

  • We constrain cosmological parameters by combining three different power spectra measured from galaxy clustering, galaxy-galaxy lensing, and cosmic shear using the Deep Lens Survey (DLS). Two lens bins (centered at z~0.27 and 0.54) and two source bins (centered at z~0.64, and 1.1) containing more than one million galaxies are selected to measure the power spectra. We re-calibrate the initial photo-z estimation of the lens bins by matching with SHELS and PRIMUS and confirm its fidelity by measuring a cross-correlation between the bins. We also check the reliability of the lensing signals through the null tests, lens-source flipping and cross shear measurement. Residual systematic errors from photometric redshift and shear calibration uncertainties are marginalized over in the nested sampling during our parameter constraint process. For the flat LCDM model, we determine S_8=sigma_8(Omega_m/0.3)^0.5=0.832+-0.028, which is in great agreement with the Planck data. We also verify that the two independent constraints from the cosmic shear and the galaxy clustering+galaxy-galaxy lensing measurements are consistent with each other. To address baryonic feedback effects on small scales, we marginalize over a baryonic feedback parameter, which we are able to constrain with the DLS data alone and more tightly when combined with Planck data. The constrained value hints at the possibility that the AGN feedback in the current OWLS simulations might not be strong enough.

팀 피드백 환경이 피드백 추구행동을 통해 업무성장활력과 팀 몰입에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Team Feedback Environment on Thriving at Work and Team Commitment through Feedback-Seeking Behavior)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 환경적 요인으로서 팀 피드백 환경이 팀원들의 피드백 추구행동에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 더 나아가 업무성장활력과 팀 몰입에 미치는 영향에 대해 검증하는 것이다. 또한, 개인적 요인으로서 팀원들의 자기효능감이 팀 피드백 환경 내에서 피드백 추구행동에 미치는 조절효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 201명의 직장인들로부터 설문자료를 수집하였고, 상관관계분석과 위계적 회귀분석, 조절회귀분석을 실시하였다. 가설검증 결과, 팀 피드백 환경은 팀원들의 피드백 추구행동과 양(+)의 관계를 나타냈고, 자기효능감이 높은 팀원일수록 팀 피드백 환경 내에서 피드백 추구행동을 더 활발하게 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 피드백 추구행동은 업무성장활력 및 팀 몰입과 양(+)의 관계를 나타냈다. 이러한 결과는 피드백 추구행동이 직무성과에는 물론 직무태도 및 일터에서의 활력 및 에너지에도 중요한 영향을 미친다는 것을 보여주고, 피드백 추구행동을 활성화시키는 긍정적인 팀 피드백 환경이 조성되는 것이 중요하다는 것을 시사한다.

공과대학생의 자기조절학습전략이 쓰기효능감, 쓰기피드백인식, 학습실재감에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Engineering Students' Self-Regulated Learning Strategies on Writing Self-Efficacy, Perceptions of Writing Feedback and Learning Presence)

  • This research aims to examine the effects of engineering students' self-regulated learning strategies on writing self-efficacy, perceptions of writing feedback, and learning presence. To achieve this purpose, firstly, differences in self-regulated learning strategies, writing self-efficacy, perceptions of writing feedback, and learning presence were investigated among engineering and non-engineering students. Secondly, the effects of self-regulated learning strategies, as perceived by engineering students, on writing self-efficacy, perceptions of writing feedback, and learning presence were explored. A total of 196 engineering and non-engineering students from one university in Korea responded to a survey based on a four-variable scale. The findings were as follows: firstly, there were significant differences in self-regulated learning strategies, writing self-efficacy, perceptions of writing feedback, and learning presence by major. Secondly, positive correlations between self-regulated learning strategies, writing self-efficacy, perceptions of writing feedback, and learning presence were identified in terms of sub-factors of those variables. Thirdly, engineering students' self-regulated learning strategies predicted writing self-efficacy, perceptions of writing feedback, and learning presence. The practical implications of these findings are discussed herein, with particular attention to education for the promotion of self-regulated learning strategies and their application to writing courses, as well as diverse learning environments.

기술사업화 생태계의 동태성에 대한 전략적 진단 (Strategic Diagnosis on the Dynamics of the Regional Technology Commercialization Ecosystem)

  • This study aims to develop strategic diagnosis framework of performance by identifying and analysing the dynamics of the technology commercialization ecosystem in innovative region. To achieve the purpose of this study, the systems thinking approach is used. The systems thinking approach connects feedback structure and behavior more explicitly to diagnosis vicious feedback loop in the regional technology commercialization ecosystem. In terms of an ecological point of view, it will be possible to explore dominant feedback structure and find leverages to overcome the limitations of regional technology commercialization performance. The diagnosis of reenforcing and balancing feedback structure is based on the statistical analysis of the survey data which has been collected in a cluster random sampling method, targeting on the 200 firm located in the Pangyo and Daeduk region. The results from this research showed that the regional technology commercialization ecosystem was immature and faced limit to the growth. An important finding of this study was that regional technology commercialization ecosystem need to activation of startups and reinforcement of virtuous feedback structures of technology commercialization market systems.

중소기업 환경에서의 합목적적 정보시스템 활용을 위한 최종사용자 피드백 탐색행위의 중요성 (Importance of End User's Feedback Seeking Behavior for Faithful Appropriation of Information Systems in Small and Medium Enterprises)

  • Small-and-medium sized enterprises(SMEs) represent quite a large proportion of the industry as a whole in terms of the number of enterprises or employees. However researches on information system so far have focused on large companies, probably because SMEs were not so active in introducing information systems as larger enterprises. SMEs are now increasingly bringing in information systems such as ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning Systems) and some of the companies already entered the stage of ongoing use. Accordingly, researches should deal with the use of information systems by SME s operating under different conditions from large companies. This study examined factors and mechanism inducing faithful appropriation of information systems, in particular integrative systems such as ERP, in view of individuals` active feedback-seeking behavior. There are three factors expected to affect end users` feedback-seeking behavior for faithful appropriation of information systems. They are management support, peer IT champ support, and IT staff support. The main focus of the study is on how these factors affect feedback-seeking behavior and whether the feedback-seeking behavior plays the role of mediator for realizing faithful appropriation of information systems by end users. To examine the research model and the hypotheses, this study employed an empirical method based on a field survey. The survey used measurements mostly employed and verified by previous researches, while some of the measurements had gone through minor modifications for the purpose of the study. The survey respondents are individual employees of SMEs that have been using ERP for one year or longer. To prevent common method bias, Task-Technology Fit items used as the control variable were made to be answered by different respondents. In total, 127 pairs of valid questionnaires were collected and used for the analysis. The PLS(Partial Least Squares) approach to structural equation modeling(PLS-Graph v.3.0) was used as our data analysis strategy because of its ability to model both formative and reflective latent constructs under small-and medium-size samples. The analysis shows Reliability, Construct Validity and Discriminant Validity are appropriate. The path analysis results are as follows; first, the more there is peer IT champ support, the more the end user is likely to show feedback-seeking behavior(path-coefficient=0.230, t=2.28, p<0.05). In other words, if colleagues proficient in information system use recognize the importance of their help, pass on what they have found to be an effective way of using the system or correct others' misuse, ordinary end users will be able to seek feedback on the faithfulness of their appropriation of information system without hesitation, because they know the convenience of getting help. Second, management support encourages ordinary end users to seek more feedback(path-coefficient=0.271, t=3.06, p<0.01) by affecting the end users' perceived value of feedback(path-coefficient=0.401, t=6.01, p<0.01). Management support is far more influential than other factors that when the management of an SME well understands the benefit of ERP, promotes its faithful appropriation and pays attention to employees' satisfaction with the system, employees will make deliberate efforts for faithful appropriation of the system. However, the third factor, IT staff support was found not to be conducive to feedback-seeking behavior from end users(path-coefficient=0.174, t=1.83). This is partly attributable to the fundamental reason that there is little support for end users from IT staff in SMEs. Even when IT staff provides support, end users may find it less important than that from coworkers more familiar with the end users' job. Meanwhile, the more end users seek feedback and attempt to find ways of faithful appropriation of information systems, the more likely the users will be able to deploy the system according to the purpose the system was originally meant for(path-coefficient=0.35, t=2.88, p<0.01). Finally, the mediation effect analysis confirmed the mediation effect of feedback-seeking behavior. By confirming the mediation effect of feedback-seeking behavior, this study draws attention to the importance of feedback-seeking behavior that has long been overlooked in research about information system use. This study also explores the factors that promote feedback-seeking behavior which in result could affect end user`s faithful appropriation of information systems. In addition, this study provides insight about which inducements or resources SMEs should offer to promote individual users' feedback-seeking behavior when formal and sufficient support from IT staff or an outside information system provider is hardly expected. As the study results show, under the business environment of SMEs, help from skilled colleagues and the management plays a critical role. Therefore, SMEs should seriously consider how to utilize skilled peer information system users, while the management should pay keen attention to end users and support them to make the most of information systems.

조직구성원의 긍정피드백이 직무만족에 미치는 영향: 내적 동기부여의 매개효과와 LMX의 조절효과를 중심으로 (Impact of Organizational Member's Positive Feedback on their Job Satisfaction: The Mediating Role of Intrinsic Motivation and the Moderating Role of LMX)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 긍정피드백이 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 알아보고 그 과정에서 내적 동기부여의 매개효과와 LMX의 조절효과를 실증적으로 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 국내 기업의 다양한 업종의 구성원 중 총396명에게 설문하여 345명으로부터 자료를 수집하였고, SPSS 25.0 AMOS 25.0를 사용하여 설문의 타당도를 Process Macro 3.0을 사용하여 변인들 간의 인과관계와 매개효과 조절효과를 검증하였다. 연구결과, 조직구성원들의 긍정피드백은 내적 동기부여와 직무만족에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 조직구성원의 내적 동기부여는 직무만족에 정(+)의 영향을 미치며, 긍정피드백과 직무만족간에 정(+)의 매개효과를 갖는 것으로 보였다. LMX는 긍정피드백과 내적 동기부여에 정(+)의 조절효과를 보였으며, 조직 구성원의 내적 동기부여는 긍정피드백과 직무만족간에 LMX에 의한 정(+)의 조절된 매개효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과의 시사점은 첫째, 조직에서 최근 이슈가 되고 있는 리더의 긍정피드백은 조직구성원의 내적 동기부여를 만들어내고 그들의 직무만족을 향상시킨다는 것이다. 또한 리더와 조직구성원의 관계가 좋을수록 리더의 긍정피드백이 그들의 내적동기부여를 촉진시킨다는 것이다. 둘째, 조직의 성과와 인재육성을 위해서는 조직 구성원의 직무만족이 중요한 바, 이를 위해 조직구성원의 직무만족을 향상시킬 수 있는 다양한 방안으로 리더의 적절한 긍정피드백을 제공해야 하는 바 다양한 교육방법을 통해 리더의 역량을 배양해야 한다는 실무적 시사점을 제시하였다.

영작문 활동 중 동료 피드백에 대한 예비교사들의 인식 (Pre-service Teachers' Perception on Peer Feedback in English Writing)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 영어 작문 수업 중 이루어진 동료 피드백 활동에 대한 예비 영어교사들의 인식을 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 15주간 영어 작문 수업을 수강하는 총 37명의 학생들이 설문에 참여하였고, 설문의 얻어진 데이터를 통해 동료 피드백 활동에 대한 학생들의 인식을 빈도분석, 기술통계를 통해 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 동료 피드백 활동에 참여한 학생들은 긍정적 태도를 보였다. 둘째, 참여자들은 작문 결과물의 내용, 아이디어 조직 부분에서 특히 큰 도움을 받았다. 셋째, 학생들은 자신을 비롯한 모든 학생들이 유사한 오류를 범한다는 것을 알게 되면서 다른 학생들에 비해 작문 실력이 크게 뒤처지지 않는다는 점에 안도감을 느꼈다. 넷째, 피드백을 주는 입장과 받는 입장 모두에서 동료 피드백의 내용을 크게 신뢰하지 않았다. 특히 영어 능력이 낮은 동료로부터 받은 피드백은 큰 도움이 되지 않았다. 다섯째, 학생들은 동료의 오류를 지적하거나 너무 자세한 제안을 했을 때 그들의 관계가 불편해질 것에 대해 걱정하였다. 마지막으로 연구 결과를 바탕으로 교육적 시사점을 제언하였다.

Perception Based Definition of Construction Quality in Pakistan

  • The complexity arises in defining the construction quality due to its perception, based on inherent market conditions and their requirements, the diversified stakeholders itself and their desired output. A quantitative survey based approach was adopted in this constructive study. A questionnaire based survey was conducted, for the assessment of construction quality perception and expectations in the context of quality improvement technique. The survey feedback of professionals, from the leading construction organizations/companies of Pakistan were analyzed. The financial capacity, organizational structure, and construction experience of the construction firms formed basis for their selection. After statistical analysis of survey feedback it was found reliable and valid for the inferential purpose to the target population of construction professionals. The quality perception was found to be project scope oriented, considered as an excess cost for a construction project and keeping the rework minimum by qualifying the required quality tests, keeping the defects minimum by ensuring the specifications of supplied material. Any quality improvement technique was expected to address the financial aspects of the construction project for the employer and contractor, by increasing the profitability through reduction in overall cost, reduction in time, reduction in defects and improving the productivity in a construction project. The study is beneficial for the construction professionals to assess the prevailing construction quality perception and the expectations from implementation of any quality improvement technique in construction projects.
