분산전원 계통 연계 전용선로에 설치된 보호 계전기의 정정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Correction of the Protective Relay Equipped in the Dedicated Line Used for Connecting Distributed Generators to Power Network)

  • This paper describes the correction of the protective relay equipped in the dedicated line used for connecting distributed generators (DG) to power grid. The fault current measured in a relaying point might be changed according to the fault conditions. Generally, the fault current of the line to line fault or the line to ground fault at the dedicated line is much higher than the protective set value due to the large fault level. However. when the high impedance fault is occurred in the dedicated line, we may not detect it because its fault level can be lower than the generating capacity of DG. And, the protective relay with conventional set value may generate a trip signal for insertion of DG due to the large transient characteristics of generators. Through the various simulations such as the fault in the dedicated line and the insertion of DG, we show that it would be necessary to modify the protective relay set value for detecting the high impedance fault occurred in the dedicated line and for preventing the mis-operation of protective relay caused by the insertion of DG.

  • Fault currents characteristics contain decaying DC offset. First cycle peak value of fault currents is higher than steady-state fault current value. These characteristics can affect the operation of protective device. To reduce the asymmetric fault current, the method using a series connection of two hybrid-type Superconducting Fault Current Limiter(SFCL) components, an auxiliary SFCL and a main SFCL, has been proposed. The auxiliary SFCL limits the first half cycle fault current, while main SFCL limits the steady state fault currents. This paper proposed a decision method of the optimal insertion resistance of auxiliary and main SFCL components. To verify the effectiveness of proposed scheme, the various simulations are performed by using Electromagnetic Transient Program(EMTP).

  • 친환경 차량의 필수장치로 사용되는 OBC(On Board Charger) 및 LDC(Low DC-DC Converter)는 시스템 성능은 물론 하드웨어적인 신뢰성과 더불어 차량에서 발생할 수 있는 다양한 Fault로부터 차량과 운전자를 보호할 수 있는 안정성과 신뢰성을 확보하는 것이 요구된다. OBC/LDC 개발에 있어 시제품을 제작하여 성능 검증과 하드웨어 신뢰성을 확보하는 것은 현재의 개발 프로세서로 충분하지만 차량에서 발생하는 다양한 Fault 상황에 대한 강건성 확보는 실차에 탑재하여 검증하지 않고서는 뚜렷한 검증 방법이 없는 실정이다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 차량에서 발생될 수 있는 다양한 Fault 상황을 시뮬레이터로 모사하여, 이러한 Fault를 전력변환장치에 인위적으로 주입시킨 뒤 전력변환장치가 정상적으로 동작하는지 분석한다. 이를 통해 실차에 탑재하지 않고 전력변환시스템의 신뢰성을 검증하기 위한 방안을 제시한다.

  • This paper describes the correction strategy of an overcurrent relay applied in the linked line for interconnecting wind farm with utility power networks in order to improve the capability of a fault detection. The fault current measured in a relaying point might vary according to the fault conditions. Generally, the current of the line to line fault or the line to ground fault in the linked line is much higher than the set value of protective relay due to the large fault level. However, when the high impedance fault occurs in the linked line, we can't detect it by conventional set value because its fault level may be lower than the generating capacity of wind farm. And, the protective relay with conventional set value may generate a trip signal for the insertion of wind turbine generators due to the large transient characteristics. In order to solve above problems and improve protective relaying algorithms applied in the linked line, we propose a new correction strategy of the protective relay in the linked line. The presented method can detect the high impedance fault which can't be detected by conventional relay set value and may prevent the mis-operation of protective relay caused by the insertion of wind farm.

  • 중국인의 나머지 정리(Chinese Remainder Theorem)를 이용한 RSA 암호 시스템(RSA-CRT)에서의 연산은 기존의 일반 RSA 멱승 연산보다 빠르게 처리할 수 있어 디지털 서명이나 복호 과정에서 많이 사용된다. 그러나 RSA-CRT는 오류주입 공격에 매우 취약한 특성을 보여 많은 대응책이 제안되고 있다. 이 중에서 Yen 등은 오류 확산 기법을 사용한 두 가지 대응책을 제안하였는데 FDTC 2006에서는 그에 대한 새로운 공격 방법이 제시되었다. 그러나 Kim 등은 비트 연산 중 AND 연산의 특성을 이용하여 FDTC 2006에서 제시한 공격을 방어하는 방법을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 Kim 등이 제안한 AND 연산을 이용한 오류 확산 기법이 선택 메시지에 대한 오류주입 공격에 취약하여 안전하지 않음을 밝히고자 한다.

  • 중국인의 나머지 정리(Chinese Remainder Theorem, CRT)를 이용하는 RSA 암호시스템을 암호 칩에 구현 할 경우, 암호 칩에서 동작하는 과정 중에 한 번의 오류 주입으로 모듈러스 N의 비밀 소인수 p, q값이 노출될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 상용 마이크로컨트롤러에 CRT-RSA 암호 시스템을 구현한 후, 레이저 빔과 플래시를 이용한 광학적 오류 주입 방법으로 공격을 시도하고 실험 결과를 분석하였다. 레이저 빔과 플래시를 이용한 오류 주입 공격 실험 결과, 일부 상용 마이크로 컨트롤러는 광학적 오류 주입 공격에 대해 취약한 특성으로 인해 CRT-RSA암호 시스템에 소인수 분해 공격이 적용됨을 확인하였다.

  • Generally the news subtitle is considered as be free of fault. But actually it has committed a fault in many respects. Among these I made a special study of phonological faults; alternation of graphemes, insertion of graphemes, deletion of graphemes and the orthography of loanwords. It is very surprising that the news subtitle has many faults against Korean orthography, We must try to get rid of the faults in the news subtitle.

  • This paper suggests a decision scheme for optimal insertion resistance in an Superconducting Fault Current Limiter (SFCL) application to reduce the transformer inrush current. This scheme and the SFCL model are implemented using Electromagnetic Transient Program (EMTP). We determine the optimal SFCL resistance by EMTP simulation, and this value is applied to model the SFCL by EMTP. The simulation results show the validity and effectiveness of the suggested scheme and the ability of a SFCL to reduce the inrush current.

  • Recently, there has been growing interest in utilizing cogeneration(COGN) systems with a high-energy efficiency due to the increasing energy consumption and the lacking of energy resource. But an insertion of COGN system to existing power distribution system can cause several problems such as voltage variations, harmonics, protective coordination, increasing fault current etc, because of reverse power of COGN, especially in protective coordination. A study on a proper coordination with existing one is being required. The existing power distribution system is operated with radial type by one source and protection system is composed based on unidirectional power source. But an Insertion of COGN system to power distribution system change existing unidirectional power source system to bidirectional power source. Therefore, investigation to cover whole field of power distribution system must be accomplished such as changing of protection devices rating by increasing fault current, reevaluation of protective coordination. In this paper, simulation using PSCAD/EMTDC was accomplished to analyze effect of COGIN on distribution fault current. Also, the existing protection system of 22.9[kV] power distribution system and customers protection system to protect of COGIN was analyzed and the study on protective coordination between of two protection system accomplished.
