대전지역 보육서비스의 실태와 요구 분석 - 어린이집 교사를 대상으로 (Facts and Needs of Comprehensive Child Edu-care Services in Daejeon)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide the basic data needed for developing comprehensive child edu-care programs that fits the regional needs. Subjects of the survey were the teachers of child edu-care centers in Daejeon. 95 teachers were selected from 20 child edu-care centers, using stratified random sampling method, from all of five municipal districts of the city. Gathered data were analyzed using SPSS 10.0 for reliability, factor analysis, frequency and percentile, mean, standard deviation, paired samples t-test and F-test. The summary of the findings were as follows: First, the result of survey on the child edu-care facts showed that the most child edu-care centers had the focus on caring and education programs of children, while emotional supports for family services and community social services were rather secondary importance. Therefore, to achieve the comprehensive service programs, child edu-care services should be harmonized by the education and welfare approaches. Second, centered around teacher's request, comprehensive child edu-care program that fits the regional characteristics focuses on family service; thus the program requires family group consulting, parents education etc., as well as focusing on community service to utilize local community's human, physical resources and to strengthen the tie between local community and child care services.

결혼만족도와 노년기부부교육요구에 관한 연구 - 중.노년기를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Marital Satisfaction and Needs of Education for Elder Couples - Centered the Mid-Later Life -)

  • This study was to find out the demand for the education of elder marital couples to improve their relationship. The results of this study were as follows. 1. Marital satisfaction was affected by four elements such as confidence and affinity, mutual respect, communication, and cohesion. Each element showed significant differences by the socio-demographic variables. Out of these variables, age, academic career, health, occupation, and salary showed significant difference in all 4 elements affecting the marital satisfaction. 2. The couples with shorter marriage period, with religion, and belonging to a nuclear family, and doing social activities were recognized the necessity of education highly. 3. The higher the confidence and affinity, and cohesion between couple, the higher the demand for education program. The lower the score of communication between couple, they participated more often in the educational program. For the improvement of confidence and affinity between couple, the educational program with partners is necessary.

영유아 어머니의 자녀돌봄시간 사용 유형화와 유형별 시간사용만족도 및 시간부족감 (Differences in Time Satisfaction and Time Deficit to the Type of Parental Time of Mothers with Preschool Children)

  • Objective: The goal of this study were (1) to examine the type of parental time, (2) to investigate the family's characteristics that affect the parental time types. (3), to identify the differences in time satisfaction and time deficit according to the types of parental time of mothers with preschool children. Methods: The data source for this research was the 2014 Time Use Survey conducted by the Korea National Statistical Office(391 time diaries). Data were analyzed using K-means cluster analysis, multinominal regression, and ANOVA. Results: The results can be summarized as follows. First, parental time was classified into four groups; non-participation, play-centered, physical care-centered, unspecified group. Second, the characteristics of each type depended on children's age, mother's education level, mother's income, and dual earner families. Third, time deficit showed significant differences between play-centered and non-participation type. Conclusion/Implications: Based on the results, implications for policy regarding child care and labor were suggested.

초등학생이 경험하는 삶의 의미: 의미요법의 주요개념에 따른 내용분석 (Experiences of Meaning in Life among Elementary School Students: Content Analysis Based on Major Concepts of Logotherapy)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the experience of the meaning in life for elementary school students. Methods: The conceptual framework was based on the five main concepts (meaning in life, creativity, experiences, attitudes, choice and responsibility) of logotherapy. Data from 1,600 higher grade elementary school students were analyzed for content of meaning in life. Results: The experiences of meaning in life were identified as follows: Important things in my life (people close to me, things that brings me happiness, to live in earnest, surrounding environment), Activities I like to do (relaxing, achievements, family relationships), Experiences that made me feel like I am loved (taken care of by family, material recompense, being respected), Times when I feel grateful (receive love and care, health), Importance of choices (consequences of bad choices, result of good life choices). Conclusion: These results suggest that elementary school students can understand meaning-centered health education and this kind of education is necessary to promote their wholistic health.

맞벌이 가계의 재무관리 행동에 대한 탐색적 연구 - 통합재무관리와 개별재무관리를 중심으로 - (An Exploratory Study on the Financial Management Practice of Dual-Income Families - Focusing on Integrated and Individual Financial Management -)

  • In this study, the various financial management systems practiced by modem dual-income families were assessed by in-depth interviews with 6 people, 3 practicing integrated financial management and 3 practicing individual financial management. The results indicated significant differences between the two financial management methods regarding family structure, individual values, and family finances. Families that practiced individual financial management consisted of weekend couples without children who showed an individual-centered value tendency and seemed to take a positive attitude towards their future economic situation due to possession of their on stabilized financial assets. Based on these results, we can expect more families to adopt methods of individual financial management and show a wider variety in their financial planning tools which will require adequate and efficient countermeasures and strategies suitable for each financial management practice.

2015 개정 가정과의 핵심개념 '발달과 관계' - 중학교 교육과정을 중심으로 - ('Development' and 'Relations', as the Core Concepts of Home Economics in 2015 Revised Middle School Curriculum in Korea)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 중학교 기술 가정교과 '인간발달과 가족' 영역의 핵심개념 '발달'과 '관계'가 2015 개정 가정과 교육과정에서 어떤 의미를 갖는지, 또 중학교 수업현장에서 어떻게 다루어야 하는지를 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 2009 개정 및 2015 개정 교육과정과 13종의 중학교 기술 가정 1, 2 교과서를 분석하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 인간발달과 가족 영역은 2015 개정 교육과정의 핵심역량 중 자기관리 역량, 의사소통 역량, 심리적 감성 역량, 공동체 역량의 함양과 밀접한 관계가 있으며, '발달'에서는 범교과 학습주제 중 인성교육, 안전 건강교육, 인권교육을, '관계'에서는 안전 건강교육, 인성교육, 다문화교육을 효과적으로 다룰 수 있는 것으로 보인다. 둘째, 수업현장의 교수학습과 교재개발 시 고려할 부분은 다음과 같다. 먼저, 핵심개념 '발달'은 전생애적 관점에서의 지속적인 역동성, 신체, 인지, 사회정서발달의 연계성 및 주요개념들의 위계와 체계, 전달정보의 구체성, 경험적 연구결과에 근거한 과학적 정보의 활용, 청소년 발달의 다양성 측면을 충분히 고려해 다루어져야 한다. 다음으로, 핵심개념 '관계'는 세대관계, 성별(젠더)관계, 역할관계, 권력관계라는 가족 집단의 특징을 염두에 두면서, 지식 위주, 정상가족 이데올로기, 중산층 중심의 가족상을 중심의 설명이 되지 않도록 주의해야 한다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 핵심개념 '발달'과 '관계'의 추후과제에 대해서 논의하였다.

남편의 산후조리 인식, 교육요구도 및 가족건강성에 관한 연구 (Husbands' Awareness of Sanhujori, Needs for Education and Family Strength)

  • Purpose: We conducted a descriptive study to: 1) understand how husbands are aware of the importance of Sanhujoiri(i.e, Korean traditional postpartum care) and 2) identify their needs to learn how to take care of postpartum women and newborns and to strengthen family bonding. Methods: The subjects consisted of 123 husbands who had children under the age of 5 years. Data were analyzed with t-test, one-way ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}^{\prime}s$ test, and Pearson's correlation. Results: The mean age of subjects was $37.1{\pm}4.63$ years. The mean scores of awareness, needs for education on postpartum mother and newborn care, and family strength were $4.57{\pm}1.18$, $4.61{\pm}1.18$, $4.92{\pm}1.07$, and $4.01{\pm}0.95$, respectively, indicating higher scores. There were statistically significant differences in awareness (F=5.08, p<.05), newborn care (F=3.70, p<.05), and family strength (F=4.64, p<.05) by husband's role in Sanhujori There was a positive correlation among study variables. Conclusion: This study shows that even though husbands want to participate in Sanhujori, they do not have enough information on Sanhujori and mother/newborn care and adequate paternity leave. Realistic paternity leave system and effective Couple Centered Childbearing (from pregnancy to postpartum) Education Program CCCEP development are required to help husbands' participation in mother/newborn care with confidence and competence in home based Sanhujori.

인간의 복지향상을 위한 환경운동의 방향 (A Study on the Direction of the Environmental Movement for the improvement of Welfare)

  • The purpose of this study is to grope the direction of the environmental movement for the improvement of welfare. The deterioration of environment which was resulted from the development of material civilization due to the industrialization made people newly recognize the importance of environment. The quality of the future life depends on the solution of the environmental problems. The family-centered environmental movement as a new cultural movement in the daily life should be revitalized for the purpose of improving welfare. This study investigated the several views on the environmental problems in the neighboring disciplines of home economics. And on the basis of the results of the study, the direction of environmental movement to be developed in home economics was represented. This study represented the directions of the environmental movement as a new cultural movement in the daily life as follows: alternative life-style, that is, pro-environmental life-style-oriented direction; community-oriented direction such as cooperative association movement in daily life; the politicalization of the environmental problems, that is, the endeavor to reflect the election promise on the environment in the vote, etc. The content of the environmental movement shoed be treated of in environmental education, consumer education, family-life education, school education, and life-long education.

주택법개정에 따른 공동주택관리영역에서의 지방자치단체의 역할 (The Role of a Local Authority of Multi-Family Housing Management upon the Revision of Housing Act)

  • The Ministry of Construction & Transportation revised the full text of 'The Act for Promoting Housing Construction' that concentrated to the quantitative supply of houses into 'Housing Act' in order to improve the quantity as well as quality of housing construction and management, such as housing welfare, management or improvement of previous houses, in October 2002. Accordingly, local authority need to play more critical roles in the area of multi-family housing management and remodeling. The desirable roles of local authority called for the need are like followings: 1. Local authority should provide professional knowledge for education, direction and consultation of multi-family housing management rather keeping the previous role to control, manage and regulate it. 2. The multi-family housing management should be changed from administration and punishment to incentive-centered institutions. 3. It is necessary to consider neglected people, such as occupants of rental apartment or of a small-sized multi-family housing, who have been excepted from the subject of obligatory management under the current law. 4. For harmonious and professional housing management, local authority need to support the establishment or special companies for housing management and to strengthen the audit on trust management companies. 5. It calls for the studies on management guideline of multi-family housing, standardization of management specifics, reasonable standard for special mending appropriation amount, etc. 6. They should lead the composition of a community by residents harmoniously and support the encouragement of community consciousness to live together.

청소년이 지각한 가족기능과 희망과의 관계 (Relationship between Family Function and Hope in Adolescents)

  • Purpose: This study is a descriptive correlation survey with the purpose of identifying the relationship between family function and hope in adolescents. It was done to provide basic data for developing family centered nursing strategies to promote adolescents' hope. Methods: The subjects of this study were 1030 high school students in J city. Data were analyzed with SPSS 10.0 program. Frequencies and percentages were used to compare the subjects' general characteristics. Minimum values, maximum values, mean scores and mean grades were used to identify the level of family function and hope. Pearson's correlation coefficient was used to analyze the relationship between family function and hope in adolescents, and t-test, ANOVA, and Scheffe test were used to examine the level of family function and hope by general characteristics. Results: 1. The level of adolescents' family function ranged from 26 to 97, the mean score was 66.85$\pm$13.16, and the mean grade was 2.76$\pm$0.52. 2. The level of adolescents' hope ranged from 55 to 153, the mean score was 111.48$\pm$17.64 and the mean grade was 2.78$\pm$0.44. 3. It showed that there is a significantly positive correlation (r=0.546, p=.000) between adolescents' family function and hope. That is, the better family function adolescents have, the higher level of hope they have. 4. Adolescents' family function showed significant differences according to school record (F=6.363, p=.002), school life satisfaction (F=4.922, p=.007), father's education (F=2.640, p=.048), mother's education (F=3.586, p=.013) and domestic economy status(F=3.022, p=.049). 5. Adolescents' hope showed significant differences according to religion (t=2.018, p=.044), school type (t=2.567, p=.010), school record (F=9.712, p=.000), school life satisfaction (F=11.367, p=.000), father's education (F=4.632, p=.003), mother's education (F=4.709, p=.003), domestic economy status (F=4.235, p=.015), relationship with friends (F=8.187, p=.000), and subjective health condition (F=5.490, p=.001). Conclusion: First, in order to improve adolescents' family function, which encourages hope in adolescents, it is necessary to develop nursing interventions and to make further studies. Second, it is necessary to develop instruments for improving Korean adolescents' family function and hope. Third, further studies are required to improve adolescents' family function and hope in special situations such as disease, drug abuse and juvenile delinquent.
