The data were analyzed by means of descriptive statistics, t-test, multiple regression analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. The results indicated that both for boys and girls, the level of parent-child conflict increased the levels of both externalizing and internalizing behavior problems whereas conflict resolution had no significant effect on behavior problems. In addition, in the case of boys only, conflict resolution moderated the effect of father-child conflict on internalizing behavior problems.
