  • In this paper we analyze the performance improvement of the M-ary FSK systems for low power and low data rate applications. This contribution presents a unified analysis of its MRC diversity, uncoded and performance in A WGN, m=2, m=3, Rayleigh and one sided Gaussian fading channels using optimum noncoherent demodulation with Reed-Solomon(RS) codes. The results of this paper should be useful as benchmarks of obtainable performance and as a reference for validating the results of simulation studies when slow fading models are applicable.

  • The transmission performance of optical labeling based on a combined frequency shift keying/amplitude shift keying (FSK/ASK) format is studied by numerical simulation. The simulation demonstrates that the bit-error ratio (BER) characteristic of an ASK signal is limited by the extinction ratio, received optical power, and dispersion, simultaneously. However, an FSK signal is mainly limited by the extinction ratio (ER) and received optical power when the peak spectrum, which is used to detect the FSK signal, is relatively narrow.

  • In this paper a DPLL circuit realizable by digital IC's is propose and the principles of general DPLL are described. An all Digital phase locked loop is designed, analyzed, and tested. In particular, the approach of invoking Gaussian assumption on the decision variable and based on S.O.Rices theory is used. As a performance of the above PLL detector operating on low data rate FSK is given and demonsrtated to be FSK reception.

  • In this paper, we propose ST-MWSK (space-time M-ary orthogonal Walsh sequence keying) employing MWSK which does not require channel estimation at the receiver. The computational complexity for the noncoherent ML (maximum-likelihood) detector of ST-MWSK is significantly reduced compared to that of ST-FSK (ST frequency-shift keying). Also, the performance of ST-MWSK is virtually identical to that of ST-FSK.

  • This paper presents a complete analysis for the derivation of the probability of error for a fast (or multiple-hops per bit) frequency hopping spread spectrum system employing binary FSK modulation and noncoherent reception in the presence of partial-band noise jamming and thermal noise. The worst-case error rate performances were obtained numerically and presented as a function of E /N with L as a parameter, where E /N and L are the signal bit energy-to-jamiming density ratio and the number of hops per bit, respectively.

  • To secure abyssal resources, submarine environment should be firstly explored. On that occasion, the withdrawal of the instrument is of importance and the submarine ultrasonic wave should be stably identified regardless submarine environment and passive factor. In the existing control methods, the control informations, received from an observation instrument, are identified used by hardware and repeatedly compared with standard information. Hereupon, a marine observation instrument remote control system using the combination of FSK and ASK that was improved its controllability and movability was presented in this paper. Likewise, the logicality of control algorithm and remote control system were ascertained by experiments.

  • The successive-approximation analog-to digital conversion has been rosed to design the FSK Communication systems. The mathematical Boise is computed under the worst condition and the improved method of the FSK is suggested in the field of the real communication systems. The measured results show that the signal to noise ratio is more than 27dB, and it gives a good agreement with the mathematical analysis.

  • RPersonal area networking technology is becoming increasingly important in enabling useful wireless home applications. For example, Bluetooth and IEEE 802.11b standards are the most commonly deployed technologies for wireless home applications. However, because both standards share the same unlicensed ISM (Industrial, Scientific, Medical) radio spectrum, severe interference is inevitable and performance can be impaired significantly when heterogeneous devices using the two technologies come into close proximity. In this paper, we research Gaussian FSK Bluetooth system, which is an open specification technology for short-range wireless connectivity between electronic devices. In this paper, we analyzes the effects of co-channel interference on the performance of a Gaussian FSK Bluetooth system. Performance criteria used in the study are the signal to interference power ratio (SIR), interference index, and the bit error rate (BER) in the wireless channel. The effect of co-channel interference from various sources on the performance of a Gaussian FSK Bluetooth system is analyzed using an IGA(Impulsive Gaussian Approximation) method, and these quantities are plotted against Eb/No, $\rho$ and SIR for various channel conditions in figures.
