This paper presents the study results of four transmission methods to enchance transmission capability. The four transmission methods studied were FACTS, HVDC, High Phase Order and new conductor material method. The study was Performed based on mid and long term KEPCO system in 2000 and 2006 year. Among them FACTS(Flexible AC Transmission System) is an exciting new field which holds great promise for improved utilization of AC transmission systems.

Precision control technologies are required for Lithography devices. The Linear BLDC Motor is used for operations of the stage. The stage is installed in Lithography devices. The stage is basically controlled though three directions (x, y, z axes). This paper presents precision control technologies of the Linear BLDC Motor (only one axes) by using computer simulations. We will plan that real systems is made and tested.

FACTS 기술은 송전계통에 전압원 인버터를 설치하여 모선 전압과 전력조류를 제어하므로 송전용량 증대 및 계통 안정도 향상을 가능케하는 신기술이다. 국내에서는 2003년 최초의 FACTS Pilot Plant인 80MVA UPFC가 154kV 강진 변전소에 설치되었다. UPFC는 STATCOM과 SSSC가 DC 커패시터를 통하여 결합된 구조로 되어 모선전압과 유효/무효전력 조류의 독립적인 제어가 가능하며 계통 운전 상황에 따라 STATCOM과 SSSC의 단독운전 또한 가능하다. 따라서 STATCOM 및 SSSC 단독운전시의 계통영향에 대한 분석이 필요하다 본 논문은 EMTDC 모델을 이용하여 현재 운전중인 강진 변전소 UPFC의 직렬 운전모드인 40MVA SSSC의 제어특성과 운전효과 분석에 대하여 기술하였다.

Korean dental association (KDA) intensively drives no smoking activities for a healthy life of Korean people. In this article, hazardous facts of smoking in oral system are reviewed from the point of view of dental science. Various activities against smoking including campaigns, conferences, polls, exhibitions and publications driven by KDA are introduced.

Let M(z)=exp (-1+z/1-z) be the unit singular inner function. See [1] or [2] for the basic facts about inner functions. We define the iterations of M9z) as (Fig.) Since the composition M$_{2}$(z)=M.M(z) is known (see [5] for example) to be singular inner function it has the "cannonical" representation (Fig.) where .mu. is a finite, positive singular Borel measure on the unit circle T. In section 2, we have explicit cannonical representation of M$_{2}$(z) by determining the singular measure .mu. In section 3 we show that (Fig.) These facts might have been known but could not be found in the literature.iterature.

본 글은 자동차부품혁신센터 및 신소재기술지원센터에 다년 근무한 경험을 토대로 지구 온난화 현상과 연계된 차량 에너지 기술에 관련하여 서술한 기술자료이다. 주된 내용으로는 현재 범 세계적으로 이슈화되고 있는 환경문제인 지구 온난화 현상(global warming)을 현상(facts), 가설(myths) 및 해결책(answers)의 3개 측면으로 분류하여 이를 차량 에너지 기술과 연계하여 서술함으로써 지구 온난화 문제에 대한 해결책을 제시하고자 한다.

본 논문은 전력계통의 과도상태에서의 STATCOM에 의해 제공되는 제동력을 평가한다. 기존의 논문들은 FACTS장비가 시스템의 안정도에 영향을 주는 제동력을 주로 고유치해석을 통하여 평가하였지만 본 논문은 에너지함수를 이용하여 FACTS장비에 의한 추가적인 제동력을 평가한다. 동기발전기의 상세모델링을 사용한 에너지함수를 통하여 STATCOM의 제동력이 전력계통의 과도 안정도에 미치는 영향을 시뮬레이션한다. 1기무한대모선 시스템에 적용한 결과를 보인다.

A deductive database consists of collection of stored facts and deductive rules. It can answer queries based on logical deduction from the stored facts and general rules. A deductive database has both a declarative meaning(semantics) and a procedural meaning. The declarative semantics of a deductive database provides a definition of the meaning of the program in a manner which is independent of procedural considerations, context-free, and easy to manipulate, exchange and reason about. This paper investigates various declarative semantics of deductive databases, dicusses related computational issues, and suggests another declarative semantics for deductive databases which is more practical than others.

This paper investigates the semantics of English there existential sentences. By examining discourse functions and pragmatic facts, it accounts for semantic facts which have not been discussed elsewhere. Further, it is a new attempt to incorporate information-theoretic notions into formal semantics. I propose that existential statements as expressing Austinian propositions. The proposed meanings account for the fact that post-copular NPs cannot constitute the restruction of an adverb of quantification nor admit a partitive reading.
