CLASSIFICATION AND EXISTENCE OF NONOSCILLATORY SOLUTIONS OF HIGHER ORDER NONLINEAR NEUTRAL DIFFERENCE EQUATIONS

  • In this paper, we consider the higher order nonlinear neutral delay difference equation of the form $\Delta^{\gamma}(x_{n}+px_{n-\gamma})+f(n, x_{n-\sigma_1(n)}, x_{n-\sigma_2(n)}, \ldots, x_{n-\sigma{_m}(n)})=0$. We give an integrated classification of nonoscillatory solutions of the above equation according to their asymptotic behaviours. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of nonoscillatory solutions with designated asymptotic properties are also established.

  • In this paper, we discuss the characterizations and uniqueness of a one-sided best simultaneous approximation for a compact subset from a convex subset of a finite-dimensional subspace of a normed linear space $C_1(X)$. The motivation is furnished by the characterizations of the one-sided best simultaneous approximations for a finite subset ${f_1, \ldots, f_\ell}$ for any $\ell \in N$.

  • The solar neighbourhood is the starting point for studies of the structure and evolution of the Galactic disk. Yet, our knowledge of the relative frequencies, distances, ages, chemical abundances, velocities, and birthplaces of the nearby stars is severely incomplete. We have determined complete, homogeneous, and precise such data for a kinematically unbiased sample of $\~$12,000 local F and G dwarf stars and describe a first, significant result from it.

치수조직염색체에서의 F-body검출에 의한 성별판정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Sex Determination of Human Dental Pulp by Y-Chromosome)

  • The author had tried to identify the sex from single tooth by detecting F-body of Y-chromosome in the nucleus of the dental pulp cells of 70 persons aged from 4 to 61 years under a fluorescent miscroscope. The results were as follows : 1. In the cell nuclei of male and female dental pulp at refrigeratory, the rate of F-body appearancd ranged 42-86%(average 61.06%) in male, while it was 0-6%(average 1.86%) in female, indicationg that male could be distinctly differentiated from female by F-body. 2. With male and female dental pulp puterfide by leaving in at room temperature, the rate of F-body appearance ranged 35-58%(average 48.20%) in male, 1-3%(average1.70%) in female, indicating that it was possible to distinguish male and female by F-body. 3. Even in heat-treated male teeth at $100^{\circ}C$,10 mins, the rate of F-body appearace proved to be 32-56%(averaged 42.50%), also indicating the possibility of identifying male. 4. When detecting of F-body in process of time, the rate of F-body appearance did not show major charges. 5. It was reaffirmed that F-body detection method was a positive determination method of male.

  • In this paper, we solve the following quadratic ${\rho}-functional$ inequalities ${\parallel}f({\frac{x+y+z}{2}})+f({\frac{x-y-z}{2}})+f({\frac{y-x-z}{2}})+f({\frac{z-x-y}{2}})-f(x)-f(y)f(z){\parallel}$ (0.1) ${\leq}{\parallel}{\rho}(f(x+y+z)+f(x-y-z)+f(y-x-z)+f(z-x-y)-4f(x)-4f(y)-4f(z)){\parallel}$, where ${\rho}$ is a fixed non-Archimedean number with ${\mid}{\rho}{\mid}$ < ${\frac{1}{{\mid}4{\mid}}}$, and ${\parallel}f(x+y+z)+f(x-y-z)+f(y-x-z)+f(z-x-y)-4f(x)-4f(y)-4f(z){\parallel}$ (0.2) ${\leq}{\parallel}{\rho}(f({\frac{x+y+z}{2}})+f({\frac{x-y-z}{2}})+f({\frac{y-x-z}{2}})+f({\frac{z-x-y}{2}})-f(x)-f(y)f(z)){\parallel}$, where ${\rho}$ is a fixed non-Archimedean number with ${\mid}{\rho}{\mid}$ < ${\mid}8{\mid}$. Using the direct method, we prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of the quadratic ${\rho}-functional$ inequalities (0.1) and (0.2) in non-Archimedean Banach spaces and prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of quadratic ${\rho}-functional$ equations associated with the quadratic ${\rho}-functional$ inequalities (0.1) and (0.2) in non-Archimedean Banach spaces.

  • Let ${\rho}(A)$ and ${\rho}(B)$ denote the orders of entire functions $A(z)$ and $B(z)$ respectively. Suppose that ${\rho}(A)$ > 1 and 0 < ${\rho}(B){\leq}\frac{1}{2}$, and that ${\rho}$(A) is not an integer. Then it is shown that every nonconstant solution $f$ of $f^{{\prime}{\prime}}+A(z)f^{\prime}+B(z)f=0$ is of infinite order if all the zeros of $A(z)$ lie in a certain angular sector depending on its genus. In addition, we investigate some growth properties of $A(z)$.

레토르트 카레 소스 생산을 위한 최적살균 조건의 설정 (Determination of Optimum Sterilization Condition for the Production of Retort Pouched Curry Sauce)

  • 레토르트 카레 소스를 생산하기 위한 최적 살균 조건을 산출하기 위하여, $3^{2}{\times}2^{1}$ 요인 실험을 통하여 살균 온도, 시간 및 방법을 변화시켜 18개 조건에 대한 살균 공정이 행하여졌다. 살균 전후의 제품에 대한 품질평가 항목은 비타민(niacin) retention, pH, 색차 및 관능 검사(맛, 색상, 점도)등 이었다. 각 살균 조건에 대한 $F_{o}$ 값도 측정되었다. 살균 후 제품의 품질은 주로 살균 온도 및 시간에 의해 영향을 받았으며, 살균 방법에 의해서는 거의 영향을 받지 않았다. 품질을 저하시키는 영향에 있어 살균 시간의 연장이 살균 온도의 상승보다 큰 영향을 나타내었는데, 이는 고온 단시간 살균의 장점을 제시해준 결과라 하겠다. 반응 표면 분석에 의해 추정된 최적 살균 범위는 $123.5^{\circ}C$, 21.5분-$127.5^{\circ}C$, 17분 부근이었다. 이 범위에서 측정된 냉점에서의 $F_{o}$ 값은 15분 정도였다.

부울함수를 이용한 부호계열 발생알고리즘 분석 부호계열발생기 구성 (Analysis of Code Sequence Generating Algorism and Implementation of Code Sequence Generator using Boolean Functions)

  • 본 논문에서는 S.Bostas와 V.Kumar[7]에 의하여 제안되고 $GF(2^n)$에서 정의되는 부호계열 발생알고리즘을 분석하고, 길이 n인 이진벡터로 이루어지는 벡터공간 $F_2$으로부터, 두 원소로 정의되는 공간 $F_2$로 사상할 수 있는 부울함수를 이용하여 발생기 구성 함수를 도출하였다. 차수 n=5와 n=7인 두 종류의 최소 다항식을 이용한 피드벡 쉬프트레지스터를 기반으로 Trace 함수로부터 부호계열 발생기 구성 부울함수를 도출하고 발생기를 설계 구성하였으며 이를 이용하여 두 종류의 부호계열 군을 발생하였다. 발생된 부호계열의 주기는 각각 31과 127로서 주기 $L=2^n-1$을 만족하고 ${\tau}=0$을 제외한 자기상관함수 값과 상호상관함수 값이 각각 {-9, -1, 7}과 {-17, -1, 15}로서 상관함수 값 $R_{i,j}({\tau})=\{-2^{(n+1)/2}-1,-1,2^{(n+1)/2}-1\}$의 특성을 만족하였다. 이 결과로부터 부울함수를 이용한 부호계열 발생기 설계와 구성이 타당함을 확인하였다.
