3T3-L1 지방세포에서 상업용 Bacillus subtilis 균주와 순창 민속마을 전통 청국장에서 분리한 Bacillus subtilis KC-3(KCCM 42923) 균주를 이용해 두유를 발효시키고 이를 발효하지 않는 두유와 지방 생성 억제 효과를 비교하였다. 렙틴의 분비량은 B. subtilis MYCO 10001 발효두유(F-MYCO)와 B. subtilis KC-3 발효두유(F-KC)에서 유의적으로 감소하였다. 이러한 지방 생성 억제 효과가 지방의 축적과도 관련이 있는지 알아보기 위하여 지방구를 관찰한 결과 두유와 발효두유 모두에서 축적된 지방의 양이 감소했고 그중 F-KC는 유의적으로 감소하여(p<0.05) 지방의 생성과 축적이 억제된 것을 알 수 있었다. 지방축적의 감소가 지방 분해와도 관련이 있는지 조사하기 위하여 글리세롤의 분비량을 측정하였는데 발효되지 않은 두유의 글리세롤 분비 정도는 control과 비슷하였으나 발효두유의 모든 군에서는 글리세롤의 분비량이 증가하였고 특히 F-KC에서 글리세롤 분비량이 유의적으로 증가하였다. 또한 F-KC의 지방 축적 감소가 지방 생성 억 제로부터 기인된 것인지 조사하기 위하여 지방생성에 중추적 역할을 맡고 있는 전사인자인 $PPAR{\gamma}$와 SREBP-1c의 mRNA 발현을 확인한 결과 두유나 다른 발효두유에 비하여 F-KC에서 이들 유전자 발현이 감소한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 B. subtilis KC-3에 의해 발효된 두유의 항비만 효과는 지방 생성의 중요한 전사인자인 $PPAR{\gamma}$와 SREBP-1c의 발현 억제에 기인한 것으로서 그 결과 지방의 생성을 억제하고 지방 축적을 효과적으로 감소 시키는 것으로 보인다.

코코피트 + 펄라이트(5:5, A), 코코피트 + 펄라이트(6:4, B), 코코피트 + 펄라이트(7:3, C), 코코피트 + 코코칩(7:3, D), 코코피트 + 코코칩(6:4, E), 그리고 피트모스 + 버미큘라이트(5:5, F)의 6종류 상토를 혼합하고 플라스틱 백에 충전하였다. 다음 '설향' 딸기의 모주를 재배하면서 상토 물리 화학성이 모주 생육과 자묘 발생에 미치는 영향을 구명하기 위하여 본 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구에서 조제된 모든 상토는 공극률이 85% 이상, 용기용수량이 55% 이상으로 측정되어 모든 상토가 수용 가능한 범위에 포함되었지만, F 상토의 공극률과 용기용수량이 각각 91.5% 및 60%로 다른 상토들보다 뚜렷하게 높았다. '설향' 딸기의 정식 전 또는 작물을 수확한 후 분석한 상토의 화학성에서 상토 A, B, C, 및 F의 전기전도도 및 질산태 질소 농도가 상토 D 또는 E보다 높았다. 또한 염 농도가 높았던 상토 A, B, C, 및 F의 런너 생체중, 건물중, 및 길이 그리고 자묘 발생수가 염농도가 낮았던 상토 D 및 E보다 많았으며, 상토의 물리성 보다 화학성이 런너의 생장 및 자묘 발생에 더 큰 영향을 미쳤다. '설향' 딸기의 정식 120일 후 지상부 전체의 무기물 함량을 분석한 결과에서 질소함량은 F 상토를 제외한 다른 상토들 간에 유의차를 발견할 수 없었는데, 이는 주정리를 통해 하위엽을 제거해준 것이 원인이 되었다고 판단하였다. 분석한 다른 원소의 식물체내 함량도 F 상토에서 뚜렷하게 높아 화학성이 자묘 발생에 큰 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었다.

HoxB4, a homeodomain-containing transcription factor, is involved in the expansion of hematopoietic stem cells and progenitor cells in vivo and in vitro, and plays a key role in regulating the balance between hematopoietic stem cell renewal and cell differentiation. However, the biological activity of HoxB4 in other cells has not been reported. In this study, we investigated the effect of overexpressed HoxB4 on cell survival under various conditions that induce death, using the Ba/F3 cell line. Analysis of phenotypical characteristics showed that HoxB4 overexpression in Ba/F3 cells reduced cell size, death, and proliferation rate. Moreover, the progression from early to late apoptotic stages was inhibited in Ba/F3 cells subjected to HoxB4 overexpression under removal of interleukin-3-mediated signal, leading to the induction of cell cycle arrest at the G2/M phase and attenuated cell death by Fas protein stimulation in vitro. Furthermore, apoptotic cell death induced by doxorubicin-treated G2/M phase cell-cycle arrest also decreased with HoxB4 overexpression in Ba/F3 cells. From these data, we suggest that HoxB4 may play an important role in the regulation of pro-B cell survival under various apoptotic death environments.

We show amongst other that if $f,g:[a,b]{\rightarrow}\mathbb{C}$ are two functions of bounded variation and such that the Riemann-Stieltjes integral $\int_a^bf(t)dg(t)$ exists, then for any continuous functions $h:[a,b]{\rightarrow}\mathbb{C}$, the Riemann-Stieltjes integral $\int_{a}^{b}h(t)d(f(t)g(t))$ exists and $${\int}_a^bh(t)d(f(t)g(t))={\int}_a^bh(t)f(t)d(g(t))+{\int}_a^bh(t)g(t)d(f(t))$$. Using this identity we then provide sharp upper bounds for the quantity $$\|\int_a^bh(t)d(f(t)g(t))\|$$ and apply them for trapezoid and Ostrowski type inequalities. Some applications for continuous functions of selfadjoint operators on complex Hilbert spaces are given as well.

In this note we prove that if A and $B^*$ are subnormal operators and is a bounded linear operator such that AX - XB is a Hilbert-Schmidt operator, then f(A)X - Xf(B) is also a Hilbert-Schmidt operator and $${\parallel}f(A)X\;-\;Xf(B){\parallel}_2\;\leq\;L{\parallel}AX\;-\;XB{\parallel}_2$$, for f belonging to a certain class of functions. Furthermore, we investigate the similar problem in the case that S, T are hyponormal operators and $X\;{\in}\;\cal{L}(\cal{H})$ is such that SX - XT belongs to a norm ideal (J, ${\parallel}\;{\cdot}\;{\parallel}_J$) and prove that f(S)X - Xf(T) $\in$ J and ${\parallel}f(S)X\;-\;Xf(T){\parallel}_J\;\leq\;C{\parallel}SX\;-\;XT{\parallel}_J$, for f in a certain class of functions.

시판 멸치액젓의 품질을 평가하기 위하여 수협제품(A, B), 중소기업제품(C, D), 유명제품(E-H)을 선정하여 이화학적 분석과 경제성을 조사하고, 관능검사를 실시하였다. 멸치 액젓의 염도는 19.8~26.0% 범위였으며, F > H > B > E > A > C = G > D순으로 높게 나타났다. 19.8%의 염도를 나타낸 D 제품은 탁도가 높고 부패취가 강하였으며, 암노니아 함량이 매우 높아 일정 이하의 염도는 젓갈의 품질을 유지할 수 없음을 알 수 있었다. 나머지 제품들의 염도는 25% 전후를 나타내었다. 총 단백질 함량은 2.51~2.04% 범위였으며 A > C > B > F > E > D > G > H 순으로 높아 수협의 두 제품(A, B)과 중소업체 C제품의 품질이 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 제품의 갈색도는 C, A제품에서 높게 나타났다. 시판되는 멸치액젓의 가격을 1$\ell$로 환산한 결과 A 제품이 가장 비싸며, B 제품이 가장 저렴한 것으로 나타났다. 멸치액젓의 관능검사 결과 색은 B > G > A > F > E > C > H > D 순으로, 냄새는 B > G = C > F > A > E > H > D 순으로 점수가 높게 나타났다. 짠맛은 I > C > F > G > H > D > B > A 순으로 점수가 높게 나타나서 측정한 염도와 일치하지는 않았다. 전체적 인 맛은 B > A > C > H > E = F > G > D 순으로 점수가 높아 B 제품의 맛이 가장 좋고 D 제품이 가장 나쁜 것으로 나타났다. 위의 분석 결과에 근거하여 우수하게 평가된 A, B, C제품과 시장 점유율이 높은 H 제품을 이용하여 김치를 제조하여 숙성에 따른 pH, 산도, 관능검사를 실시한 결과 숙성 전반에 걸쳐 다른 제품들에 비해 C 제품으로 제조한 김치에서 숙성이 빨리 진행되었고, A 제품으로 제조한 김치에서 숙성이 다소 지연되는 것으로 나타났다. 관능검사를 실시한 결과 외관은 2주째 C 김치에서 유의적으로 좋았고, 냄새는 4주째 A, H 김치가 좋은 것으로 평가되었다. 나머지 항목들에서 멸치액젓 제품 사이의 유의차는 나타나지 않았으나 숙성 전반에 걸쳐 A 제품으로 제조한 김치가 다소 좋은 것으로 평가되었다.

In the present paper we introduce a new subclass of analytic functions in the unit disc defined by convolution $(f_{\mu})^{(-1)}*f(z)$; where $$f_{\mu}=(1-{\mu})z_2F_1(a,b;c;z)+{\mu}z(z_2F_1(a,b;c;z))^{\prime}$$. Several interesting properties of the class and integral preserving properties of the subclasses are also considered.

For an irreducible binomial polynomial $f(x)=x^n-b{\in}K[x]$ with a field K, we ask when does the mth iteration $f_m$ is irreducible but $m+1th\;f_{m+1}$ is reducible over K. Let S(n, m) be the set of b's such that $f_m$ is irreducible but $f_{m+1}$ is reducible over K. We investigate the set S(n, m) by taking K as the rational number field.

We find some conditions under which G(f)-sequence of a CW-pair (X, A) is exact. And we also introduce a G(f)-sequence for a CW-triple (X, A, B) and examine when the sequence is exact.

본 연구에서는 SOI MOSFET를 hot carrier 현상에 의한 RF 성능 저하를 측정 분석하였다. $V_{GS}=0.8V$, f=2.5GHz에서 설계되어 진 LNA의 이득은 16.51dB이고 잡음지수는 1.195dB였다. SOI에서 스트레스 후에는 LNA의 이득과 잡음지수가 스트레스전보다 각각 15.3dB, 1.44dB로 변화하였다.
