  • A high peak power demand at substations will result under Moving Block Signalling (MBS) when a dense queue of trains begins to start from a complete stop at the same time in an electrified railway system. This may cause the power supply interruption and in turn affect the train service substantially. In a recent study, measures of Starting Time Delay (STD) and Acceleration Rate Limit (ARL) are the possible approaches to reduce the peak power demand on the supply system under MBS. Nevertheless, there is no well-defined relationship between the two measures and peak power demand reduction (PDR).   • When load areas on a feeder are deenergized due to faults,operaters need to identify nelghboring feeders, try to restore customers and minimize out-of-service areas. These cases include knowledge of system states and various constraints such as voltage drop. This paper concerns the load transfer infault restoration. Also, it is considered the operating constraints such as line current capacity, relay trip current, transformer capacity, voltage drop and line loss. The expert system is able to propose the optimal load transfer method by anallzing system states and considering constraints.

  • The characteristics of preliminary founders has taken a part in deciding the structural elements of Franchise headquarters in the food service industry. Thus this study tries to show how preliminary founders have an impact on structural elements in franchise headquarters through demonstrative research on intention of contracting by characteristics of preliminary members. The result shows that the experience factor of a preliminary owner has significant relationships with the structural elements of headquarters. It was analyzed that the structural elements of franchise headquarters such as expert consulting, training support and use of sales guide influence contract intention. The characteristics of the preliminary founders have a major impact on investment, financing, expert consulting, educational support, and untilization of business guideline. The structural elements have a major impact on contract intention.

  • Performed was a survey to find the level of interest on passenger services using IT and smart sensor technology in connection with High Speed Train development in Korea. The survey respondents were sampled from the KTX passengers, KTX crews, Korail employees, IT or sensor experts, and rolling stock experts. The results of the survey were categorized as importance, urgency/necessity, importance vs urgency/necessity, improvement measure, preferable activities based on the trip length, and inconveniencies. By analyzing the results, service items that can be implemented to the High Speed Train were recognized. The results showed that a passenger tends to expect to have his/her comfort and convenience, an attendant safety and serviceability, a Korail employee information provision and serviceability, an IT/sensor expert technological implementation done, and a rolling stock expert implementation done in practical level.

실감 서비스 제공을 위한 융합 미디어 미들웨어 (FMM: Fusion media middleware for actual feeling service)

  • Web2.0 시대가 도래함에 따라 웹 상에는 사용자에 의해 제작된 미디어간의 상호교환이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 콘텐츠 공유 사이트의 비약적인 성장을 바탕으로 미디어 콘텐츠 공유의 장이 활성화되었고, 이러한 환경 속에 비전문가에 의해 제작된 콘텐츠의 수가 증가하였다. 비전문가에 의해 제작된 콘텐츠는 촬영된 그대로의 영상만을 담고 있는 단순미디어에 그치기 때문에 단순미디어에 효과와 액션과 같은 실감을 부여하기 위한 방안으로 융합 미디어 미들웨어를 제안하며 이를 통해 제작자와 사용자의 만족감을 증대시킬 수 있으며, 영상은 한층 더 인상적인 콘텐츠로 발전할 수 있다. 실감 서비스를 제공하기 위한 융합 미디어 미들웨어는 MPEG-7을 기반으로 입력 받은 영상을 씬(scene) 단위로 분류하며, 세분화된 영상 사이에 이미지, 텍스트, 사운드 등과 같은 효과를 삽입함으로써 기존의 단순미디어를 실감효과가 부여한다. 입력영상과 실감효과를 연계시키기 위하여 MPEG-21에서 제공하는 BSD 코드를 이용하며 이를 통해 미디어간의 동기화(intra synchronization)를 제어한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 융합 미디어 미들웨어를 통하여 비전문가에 의한 콘텐츠는 다중미디어로서의 가치를 지니게 되며, 새로운 유통의 흐름을 창출할 수 있는 효과를 얻을 수 있다.

조주기능사 자격제도 실기시험 채점표 변경에 관한 연구 (A Study of Score Card Alteration of Bartender Certification Examination)

  • This study is to prevent the applicants who apply for the test from being confused by finding problems in the practical test of the bartender certificate and to detect the best way to find out the scoring factors and allotting marks. The goal of this study is to give the direction of proposing the alternative plans of the qualification test for the bartender by the expert group. The questionaries of the survey were sent and collected from June 20 though 30, 2005. After removing some questionaries that have a problem, the survey was conducted for 20 days from August 5, 2005. The samples of the expert group was set up as 50 persons, but 43 samples were available for the final analysis. Also, 7 selected experts proposed the improvements of the marking lists in the practical test for the bartender certificate throughout 2 in-depth studies from September 15 through 25, 2005. According to the analysis, marking lists of the practical test need to be improved. For the detail categories of the practical test, priority appears as follows : sanitation, service and cocktail mixing. For the proper score in the marking lists of the practical test, 25 points is more proper than existing 33 points for selecting ingredients and stools, 10 points is more suitable than existing 9 points for pouring main ingredients, 30 points is more appropriate than existing 42 points for cocktail mixing, 20 points is more proper than existing 10 points for sanitation and 15 points is more suitable than existing 6 points for service.

MPEG2-TS를 RTP로의 적용 및 변환 시스템 (Application and conversion system of MPEG2-TS to RTP)

  • IPTV 콘텐츠는 MPEG2-TS(Moving Picture Expert Group-2 Transport Stream)에 기반을 두고 있으며, 생성된 콘텐츠는 인터넷 서비스망을 이용하여 각 가정의 수신기(Set-Top Box)에 전달되고, 이는 디코딩(Decoding) 과정을 거쳐 텔레비전에 보이게 된다. 하지만 기존의 제공된 회선 이외에 다른 장치에서의 콘텐츠 확대 이용 및 소비는 상당히 제한적 이었으며, 이를 위해 MPEG2-TS를 다른 포맷으로 변환 전송 등의 방법이 다양하게 제공되었으나 이들 방법들은, 시스템에 부하를 많이 가져올 뿐만 아니라, 자체적인 하드웨어 요구 사양이 높아지는 결과를 초래하였다. 이에 본 논문에서는 IPTV 내에서 MPEG2-TS로 제공되는 콘텐츠를 RTP(Real time Transport Protocol)를 이용하여 사용자에게 좀 더 다양한 장치와 환경에 적용 및 제공하는 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 MPEG2-TS로 제공되는 다양한 콘텐츠에 대한 타 장치로의 배포 및 소비가 가능하여 소비자의 콘텐츠 이용에 대한 QoS(Quality of Service)를 향상시킬 뿐만 아니라, 콘텐츠에 대한 소비 및 이용 증가에 따른 IPTV 사업의 발전 및 활성화에 도움이 될 것이다.

  • 게임 산업은 지속적으로 성장하고 있지만 게임의 수명은 짧아지고 있다. 게임 서비스의 질을 향상시키는 활동은 게임의 수명을 늘리는 역할을 한다. 게임이 서비스되면 서버는 로그 정보를 저장하고, 이렇게 저장된 데이터는 사용자의 활동을 예측하는데 중요한 자료가 된다. 게임의 데이터는 많아지고 빅데이터로써 활용성이 높다. 이렇게 게임에 저장된 데이터를 분석하여 게임 서비스를 질을 향상시키고 더 나은 서비스를 진행하기 위한 게임 서비스 이슈 분석 절차를 제안하고, 이를 밸런스 테스트 프로세스로 적용하여 전문가 검토를 통해 검증하였다. 본 논문을 통해 로그 분석 프로세스를 적용한다면 게임 서비스의 질을 향상시킬 수 있는 기초 자료가 될 것이다.

가사노동 서비스 영역의 사회화와 그 만족 수준에 관한 연구 (The socialization of household task services area and the satisfaction with it)

  • The purposes of this study are to investigate the socialization of household task service area and the satisfaction with it, and to find out the factors affecting on them. For these purposes the data are collected by using questionnaire distributed to 450 housewives living in Seoul. The data are analyzed using frequency, percentile, one way anova, pearson's correlation analysis, simple regression analysis, multiple regression analysis. The results of this research are as follow : 1. There are significant differences in the socialization of household task service area according to housewives's education and employment family income, the type of housing the number of household equipment sex role attitude, attitude about household task, and task performance competency. 2. The factors showing significant relation to the satisfaction about socialization of household task service areas are found to be housewife's education and employment family income sex role attitude and task performance competancy. 3. In the result of the independent contribution of the factors, the most influencial factor is the socialization of household task service area and the next is sex role attitude. 4. Housewives are generally satisfacted on the socialization of household task because of the overweight of household task and because they are unable to those household tasks, and on the other hand they are generally dissatisfacted on the socialization of household tasks because of economic weight, because they couldn't know the ability of service export before employing and because the housework practiced by service expert is different from their expects.

통합건강관리간호사 역할규명을 위한 직무분석: 연 회원제 건강관리 서비스 중심 (Job Analysis of Health Guide Nurse for Role Identification: Focusing on Annual Health Guidance Membership Service)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify nurses' role in the delivery of health guidance service within the annual health guidance membership service. Methods: Dynamic job analysis process was applied with vertical job analysis and horizontal job analysis through a focus group workshop and expert survey. Results: As a result of this study, job description was established with 4 duties, 11 tasks, 60 task elements. Major duties consisted of 'professional nurse practice', 'coordination and cooperation', 'education and consultation', and 'administrative work and improvement'. A job process map was also framed. Conclusion: The results can be used to establish nurses' role in providing health care service. Ongoing research on nurse's role as a health guider will be a fundamental base for health care service development and will contribute to expansion of common health management services.
