  • For the purpose of investigating the effect of evaluation on career support by the college and career exploration efficacy of dental hygiene students on the career exploration behavior, a survey was conducted in December 2014 with students of dental hygiene at universities located in Ulsan and Daegu as subjects. In the result, correlation was found among sub-factors of evaluation on career support by the college, career exploration efficacy, and career exploration behavior. Increase of career exploration efficacy (${\beta}=0.702$, p<0.001), practical career support (${\beta}=0.165$, p<0.05), and relationship establishment efficacy (${\beta}=0.152$, p<0.05) led to increase of career exploration behavior, while increase of individual exploration efficacy (${\beta}=.0.242$, p<0.001) led to decrease of career exploration efficacy. Therefore, it is necessary to build appropriate value system related to job seeking, conduct active discussions to increase relationship establishment efficacy by using interpersonal relationship reinforcement program, and expand career support program by the college.

  • Purpose: The aim of the study was to evaluate the correlation of ultrasound features with breast cancer molecular status. Materials and Methods: A retrospective review was performed of ultrasound findings in 263 patients diagnosed with breast invasive ductal carcinoma for comparison with immunohistochemistric results were obtained from each lesion. Relationships between ultrasound findings and molecular status were investigated by using multiple regression analysis by means of stepwise logistic regression. Differences in ultrasound criteria were assessed among women with different molecular status. Results: ER positivity was associated with small size, lobulate, angular or spiculated margin contours, absence of calcification, posterior tumor shadowing and low elasticity score; PR positivity was associated with small size, lobulate or angular or spiculated margin contours and absence of calcification; HER2 positivity was associated with presence of calcification and absence of any echogenic halo. The calculated models of predicted molecular status were accurate and discriminating with AUCs of 0.78, 0.74, and 0.74, respectively. Conclusions: Breast cnacer ultrasound features show some correlation with the molecular status. These models may help to expand the scope of ultrasound in predicting tumor biology.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the current status of the military library services and the factors for promoting the reading of the soldiers and the activation of the use of the library by investigating the perception, use behavior and satisfaction of the library users, and the usefulness of 'JinJung' library collection. For this purpose, we surveyed the users of the Army, Navy, and Air Force military libraries. As a result of the survey, they responded that they were reading to acquire new knowledge and information and to cultivate the education. The favorite reading areas were general fiction, poetry, comic books, martial arts and fantasy novels. In order to encourage the soldiers to read in the military, diversity and quantitative expansion of collections are most needed, and soldiers said they most desire to expand the books on novels, poetry, admissions and employment preparation books. In addition, in order to increase the utilization rate of the military library and the interest in reading, it was necessary to increase the accessibility of the soldiers' library and books to the military, and to increase the library use time.

  • Keratocystic odontogenic tumors (KCOT) - previously termed odontogenic keratocysts (OKC) - are characterized by aggressive behavior and a high rate of recurrence. Histopathologically, the basal layer of KCOT shows a higher cell proliferation rate and increased expression of anti-apoptosis genes. Clinically, KCOT is frequently involved in the mandibular posterior region but is not common in the posterior maxilla. However, it should be noted that due to its expansive characteristics, KCOT involved near the maxillary sinus could easily expand to an enormous size and occupy the entire maxilla. To achieve total excision of these expanded cystic tumors in the maxilla, a more aggressive approach would be needed. In this report, we describe two cases of expansile KCOT involving the entire unilateral maxilla and maxillary sinus; they were completely excised using the Weber-Ferguson approach, showing no evidence of recurrence during the follow-up period of more than two years. In immunohistochemical analyses of the tumor specimens, p53 and p63 showed strong expression, and B-cell lymphoma 2 (BCL2) and MKI67 (Ki-67) showed moderate or weak expression, however, detection of BCL2-associated X protein (BAX) was almost negative. These data indicate that expansile KCOT possesses increased anti-apoptotic activity and cell proliferation rate but decreased apoptosis. These properties of KCOT may contribute to tumor enlargement, aggressive behavior, and high recurrence rate.

  • In the 21st century, universal design has started to expand as new design value system for the diversity and various need of user: a new design that can reflects the welfare of the society. In addition, the percentage of population over 65 years old has been rising rapidly in Korea, and we are expected to reach 'aged society' with 14.3% of elderly population in 2018. In rural districts, population of the elderly has already reached 'super-aged society' with over 20%. With the rapid increase of the number of the elderly, the need for social service system is rising. For the independent living of the elderly, the dwelling space that supports their lifestyle is the most important factor. In advanced countries, they have proposed the housing for the elderly to keep living in their house, improvement of housing quality that fits the changing various needs of them. Until now, however, the most housing condition that the elderly has lived is poor living environment as below housing standards, especially housing in rural districts is very poor. The purpose of this study was to extract issue of housing in the rural districts in terms of universal design concept and reflecting the cultural and living characteristics of rural districts. With this, additionally, this study make understood about the necessity and important of universal design housing to reflect the characteristics of rural districts. For this study, data were collected from field survey and interview. The major results showed the following. 1) There were very various type of housing in rural districts. Spatial composition and shape was not related to living behavior and cultural characteristics of rural district. 2) The most new constructed housing was similar to urban housing type. It means that housing with respect to living culture of users in rural district must be developed. 3) In rural housing, they all had outdoor building (included storehouse, bathroom/toilet, kitchenet, etc.) relating to a series of work behavior. However, living environment was not to meet needs and characteristics of users.

  • The main focus of this study is to numerically investigate the influence of strong earthquake and tsunami-induced wave impact on the response and behavior of a cable-stayed steel bridge with large caisson foundations, by assuming that the earthquake and the tsunami come from the same fault motion. For this purpose, a series of numerical simulations were carried out. First of all, the tsunami-induced flow speed, direction and tsunami height were determined by conducting a two-dimensional (2D) tsunami propagation analysis in a large area, and then these parameters obtained from tsunami propagation analysis were employed in a detailed three-dimensional (3D) fluid analysis to obtain tsunami-induced wave impact force. Furthermore, a fiber model, which is commonly used in the seismic analysis of steel bridge structures, was adopted considering material and geometric nonlinearity. The residual stresses induced by the earthquake were applied into the numerical model during the following finite element analysis as the initial stress state, in which the acquired tsunami forces were input to a whole bridge system. Based on the analytical results, it can be seen that the foundation sliding was not observed although the caisson foundation came floating slightly, and the damage arising during the earthquake did not expand when the tsunami-induced wave impact is applied to the steel bridge. It is concluded that the influence of tsunami-induced wave force is relatively small for such steel bridge with large caisson foundations. Besides, a numerical procedure is proposed for quantitatively estimating the accumulative damage induced by the earthquake and the tsunami in the whole bridge system with large caisson foundations.

  • The rapid development of information and communication technology has made it for people to pirate digital contents easily and quickly. Although many studies have investigated the underlying factors that lead to an individual engaging in digital piracy, few studies have provided holistic and integrative view on this issue. Therefore, this study attempts to build integrative research model based on theory of planned behavior (TPB), norm activation model (NAM), and habit. For this purpose, this study develops nine hypotheses that explain the relationship between attitude, personal norm, habit, and behavioral intention, and tests them with survey data collected from 337 participants. The results of this study show that attitude, perceived behavioral control, personal norm, and habit have impact on behavioral intention of digital piracy while subjective norm does not affect behavioral intention. This study contributes to expand existing studies by identifying the relationship between attitude, personal norm, habit and behavioral intention.

  • Recently, information security accidents are becoming more advanced as social engineering attacks using new types of malicious codes such as phishing. Organizations have made various efforts to prevent information security incidents, but tend to rely on technical solutions. Nevertheless, not all security incidents can be prevented completely. In order to overcome the limitations of the information security approach that depends on these technologies, many researchers are increasingly interested in People-Centric Security. On the other hand, some researchers have applied behavioral economics to the information security field to understand human behavior and identify the consequences of the behavior. This study is a trend analysis study to grasp the recent research trend applying the concept and idea of behavioral economics to information security. We analyzed the research trends, research themes, research methodology, etc. As a result, the most part of previous research is focused on 'operational security' topics, and in the future, it is required to expand research themes and combine behavioral economics with security behavioral issues to identify frameworks and influencing factors.
