원전 비상전원 적용성 판단을 위한 다양한 C-rate 기반 원통형 리튬이온 배터리의 전기적 특성분석 및 모델링 (C-rate based electrical characteristics and equivalent circuit modeling of 18650 cylindrical Li-ion battery for nuclear power plant application)

  • 최근 발생한 원전 사고는 소외전원 및 비상전원의 기능이 상실되어 발전소 전체 정전이 발생한 사례를 계기로 원전의 비상전원공급용 배터리의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 현재 원전의 비상전원공급용 배터리는 기존의 납축전지를 대신하여 리튬계열 배터리로 교체가 고려되고 있는 상황이다. 이에 따라 원통형 리튬 배터리의 적용성을 판단하기 위해 여러 가지 리튬 계열 배터리의 전기적 특성 실험을 진행하여 결과를 분석해야 한다. 본 논문은 현재 ESS(Energy Storage Systems)에 많이 사용되는 세 가지 타입의 리튬 배터리의 전기적 특성실험을 통해 적절한 배터리 타입을 선정하고, 선정된 배터리가 비상전원공급용 배터리로 사용될 때 최적의 C-rate를 제안한다. 또 배터리 모델링을 통해 배터리의 상태를 추정하며 문제점을 제시한다.

  • This paper presents a method for determining of the equivalent d-q model parameters of three-phase squirrel cage induction motors. The method is based on the use of a finite-element field calculation which enables the precise slot geometry to be modelled accurately, and includes the effects of magnetic saturation of iron core. The proposed method can reduce computational costs compared with the method that needs the iterative field analysis to obtain the impedance. It is verified that the circuit inductances are shown as functions of the current.

  • This paper deals with the design of transverse flux linear actuator based on the proposed design procedure. To satisfy requirement specifications, the initial model is designed by the equivalent magnet circuit and then the detailed design is achieved by Finite Element Method(FEM) using the equivalent reluctance 2D model. The effects of the design parameter on the static characteristics are investigated to increase the thrust.

  • A Linear Induction Machine(LIM) is the motor which is developed from an rotary induction machine. Usually, the electromagnetic field of an LIM is analyzed by Maxwell's equations. The structure of an LIM is different from a conventional rotary machine, an LIM has some particular characteristics such as the end effects. Hence, the mathematical analysis of an LIM is very complicated and the implementation of the equivalent model is difficult. In this paper, the dynamic equations and the equivalent model of a Double-sided short primary LIM(DLIM) is obtained by the winding function and a d-q theory. The validity of the proposed methodology is verified by numerical analysis.

  • SAW(Surface Acoustic Wave) 필터는 탄성표면파를 응용한 신호처리 기능 소자로, 각종 통신 기기의 고주파 회로의 대역 통과 필터로 이용된다. 기본적인 구성은 압전체 기판의 표면에 전기 신호와 표면파를 서로 교환하기 위한 입/출력 IDT(interdigital transducer) 한 쌍으로 이루어진다. 그 주파수 특성은 입/출력 IDT의 간격과 각각의 길이에 의해 결정되어지며, 대역 통과 필터의 특성을 지닌다. 본 논문은 이런 SAW 필터의 수치 설계 방법론에 관한 것이다. 입력 IDT의 전극의 길이를 변수로 정하고, 중심 주파수, 통과 대역의 폭과 정지 대역의 감소치가 주어졌을 때 적응/최적화 알고리즘을 이용하며 필터를 설계한다. 설계하고자 하는 필터 특성과 임의의 시간에 만들어진 필터와의 오차를 목적 함수로 정하고, 이 목적 함수를 최소화하는 것으로 필터의 설계가 가능하게 된다. SAW 필터의 계산 모델로는 델타 함수 모델과 등가 회로 모델을 사용하였으며, 최적화 알고리즘으로는 유전자 알고리즘을 사용하였다.

  • In this paper. the lumped electrical circuit approach of mass/spring system is used to model the mechanical aspects according to the frequency. Therefore, the mass/spring system can be dealt with here and linked with the equivalent circuit of electric linear oscillatory actuator(LOA). Analysis models are double-coil type linear compressor for stirling refrigerator. The compressor consists of the moving coil LOA, piston, and spring. The electro-mechanical system with mass and spring can be represented using the lumped electrical circuit. We present the system impedance and dynamics of moving coil linear compressor.

Comparative Study of Non-Electrochemical Hysteresis Models for LiFePO4/Graphite Batteries

  • The estimation of $LiFePO_4$/graphite battery states suffers from the prominent hysteresis phenomenon between the respective open-circuit voltage curves towards charging and discharging. A lot of hysteresis models have been documented to investigate the hysteresis mechanism. This paper reviews and deeply interprets four non-electrochemical hysteresis models and some improvements. These models can be conveniently incorporated into commonly used equivalent circuit models to reproduce battery behaviors. Through simulation and experimental comparisons of voltage predictions and state-of-charge estimations, the pros and cons of these models are presented.

  • A new type of interaction circuitry for a broadband gyro-TWT is presented in this paper. A method for the analysis of dispersion characteristics of a periodic structure, which is composed of conducting posts in a rectangular waveguide, is presented. This method utilizes a mode matching technique and equivalent circuit model. The calculated and measured results demonstrate that this periodic structure could be utilized for the interaction circuit of a wide band Gyro-TWT.

  • The ampere-hour integral method and the open circuit voltage method are integrated via the extended Kalman filter method so as to overcome insufficiencies of the ampere-hour integral method and the open circuit voltage method for estimating battery SOC. The process noise covariance and the measurement noise covariance of the extended Kalman filter method are simplified based on the Thevenin equivalent circuit model, with a proposed simplified SOC estimating method. Verification of DST experiments indicated that the battery SOC estimating method is simple and feasible, and the estimated SOC error is no larger than 2%.

  • In order to present that the electromagnetic compatibility standards following the frequency goes up which is based automotive electronics, in this paper, a hybrid/electric vehicle battery which reflects the frequency of the equivalent circuit model is introduced. By using this circuit modeling, the impedance characteristics can be analysed and an analyze of battery one cell is finished. Using this model, each different from the discharging situation, the discharge characteristic curve could be led. Basic theoretical approaches and measuring results through MATLAB and experimental validation of the EIS measurement equipment was used.
