As we strive to mitigate the environmental impact caused by the use of fossil fuels, the exploration of alternative energy sources has gained significant attention. Solar energy, in particular, has emerged as a promising solution due to its eco-friendly nature and virtually limitless availability. Among the various types of solar cells that harness this abundant energy source, organic solar cells have garnered considerable interest. Organic solar cells feature a photo-active layer composed of organic semiconductors, offering a range of appealing advantages such as cost-effectiveness, flexibility, translucency, and the ability to produce customizable colors. However, the commercialization of organic solar cells has been impeded by certain challenges, notably their relatively low efficiency and stability. To overcome these obstacles and pave the way for wider adoption, researchers have been exploring innovative approaches, including the implementation of ternary blend organic solar cells. This strategy involves introducing a third component into the photo-active layer alongside the organic semiconductors, with the aim of enhancing the overall performance of the solar cell. In this paper, we delve into the issues associated with organic solar cells and focus on one potential solution: ternary blend organic solar cells. Specifically, we examine the application of this approach to PM6:Y6, which stands as one of the most popular combinations of organic semiconductors. By investigating the potential of ternary blends, particularly utilizing PM6:Y6, we aim to accelerate the commercialization of organic solar cells.
The semiconductor manufacturing process normally includes a great number of complex sequential steps those are related with various types of equipment. Such equipments are installed with the mixed patterns of serial or parallel structures while considering a number of engineering or environmental factors at the same time. It is thus extremely difficult to change the layout after installation due to expensive costs and other related factors. Because of these reasons, a new investment or layout change, which is usually caused by the production policy such as product mix or production quantity, must be carefully considered. This case study introduces a simulation conducted in a semiconductor parts production company which produces the Board on Chip (BOC)-type of packaging substrate and has plans to change the facility layout. For this study, we used $QUEST^{(R)}$ for simulation modeling and evaluated various strategies which may cause layout changes. Further, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is applied to select the best strategy from several alternatives with multiple decision criteria.

In this study, we sought to improve lutein and zeaxanthin production in Mychonastes sp. 247 and investigated the effect of environmental factors on lutein and zeaxanthin productivity in Mychonastes sp. The basic medium selection and N:P ratio were adjusted to maximize cell growth in one-stage culture, and lutein and zeaxanthin production conditions were optimized using a central composite design for two-stage culture. The maximum lutein production was observed at a light intensity of 60 μE/m2/s and salinity of 0.49%, and the maximum zeaxanthin production was observed at a light intensity of 532 μE/m2/s and salinity of 0.78%. Lutein and zeaxanthin production in the optimized medium increased by up to 2 and 2.6 folds, respectively, compared to that in the basic medium. Based on these results, we concluded that the optimal conditions for lutein and zeaxanthin production are different and that optimization of light intensity and culture salinity conditions may help increase carotenoid production. This study presents a useful and potential strategy for optimizing microalgal culture conditions to improve the productivity of lutein and zeaxanthin, which has applications in the functional food field.

A large amount of stone is required as a high-end strategy for building new construction and remodeling work, and aggregates have to be collected from many stone mountains due to the lack of river sand and gravel required for concrete production. This study examines the case of development of stone materials for construction, conduct and analyze residents' attitudes, find out residents' thoughts on stone mountain development, develops the area as an alternative to the devastation caused by stone mountain development, and recycles it as an efficient resource. We intend to conduct basic research to propose a plan. As a result, Local residents have a lot of antipathy against the use of quarry, so it is necessary to use the area that is far from the residents' areas as a quarry. It was concluded that it was desirable to restore and develop in the right direction.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate changes in public health-related perceptions of residents of Gangwon province after the outbreak of Coronavirus disease-19(COVID-19) of the public. Methods: We performed paired T-test analysis to measure the change in public health-related perceptions before and after COVID-19. We also utilized generalized estimating equations to identify demographic factors correlated with public health-related perceptions. Results: The public perceived public health as 'All citizens can use medical care and protect/promote health.' The concept was the most popular, from 94.3% in 2019 to 95.5% in 2020. In addition, after COVID-19, residents of Gangwon province's satisfaction with medical services increased, but the overall level was not high. Among the eight essential healthcare needs after COVID-19, cardiovascular disease and injury services have emerged as preferred services. However, by sociodemographic factors, distinctive responses were detected. Conclusions: Through COVID-19, Gangwon residents' awareness of the public's health rights has increased. Those living in vulnerable areas or with unmet medical care, supported strengthening public health care. In addition, although medical satisfaction has increased, it is not satisfied, so listening to the voices of the population group with low satisfaction is essential. Lastly, since the necessity of essential health care may change due to specific events, the local government needs to plan health projects reflecting the needs of residents. Therefore, when designing the public health care strategy in Gangwon province, the local government should consider not only political factors but also environmental factors, demographic and conceptual factors.
Purpose - Recent issues such as vessel enlargement, strengthening of environmental regulations, and port smartization are expected to increase costs and intensify competition in the port industry. In the new normal era, when external growth has reached its limit, the efficient operation of ports is becoming indispensable for achieving sustainable growth. This study aims to identify the determinants of inefficiency by examining the cost structure and efficiency of container terminals in Korea and furthermore propose the political implications to derive the maximization of efficiency. Design/methodology - This study estimates the cost function of container terminal operators and identifies the efficiency of container terminals using stochastic cost frontier (SCF) in the first stage. In the second step, the SCF results are compared with the data envelopment analysis (DEA). Last, this paper proposes efficiency determinants on container terminal operation to establish appropriate strategies. Out of the 29 container terminal operators in South Korea, 13 operators participated in the survey. The translog cost function was estimated utilizing a total of 116 observations collected over the 2007-2017 period. Findings - Empirical analysis shows that economies of scale exist in Korea's container ports, which provides a rationale for the government's policy to establish the global terminal operator by integrating small terminal operators to enhance competitiveness. In addition, as a result of the determinants analysis, container throughput, weight of direct employment costs, and labour cost share have positive effects on improving cost efficiency, while inefficiency increases as the length of quay increases. More specifically, cost efficiency improves as the proportion of direct employment costs to outsourcing service costs increases. Originality/value - This study contributes to analyzing the inefficiency factors of container terminals through efficiency analysis with respect to a cost function. In addition, this study proposes the practical and political implications, such as establishing a long-term manpower pool, the application of the hybrid liner terminal system, and the construction of a statistical data system, to improve the cost inefficiency of terminal operators.

Additive manufacturing (AM, also known as 3D printing) applied to the construction industry is implemented and verified for various effects since advantages such as high design freedom, improving worker safety, and predictable construction period. However, due to the low maturity compared to the existing technology, studies are underway to solve new problems that occur in the overall of AM technology. In this paper, we confirm the effect of low construction surface flatness on the stacked features in the process of on-site AM construction. In particular, unstable AM features are determined through quantitative analysis by laser scanning, and a construction strategy is proposed for the surface flattening.

MSMEs in the food and beverage industry play a critical role in the Indonesian economy since they account for the majority of the manufacturing sector's GDP. Despite its importance, it is unable to compete on a worldwide scale due to a lack of technological adoption. As a result, the purpose of this study is to look into the concerns and challenges that F&B MSMEs have when it comes to technology adoption. An online survey of 626 MSMEs and in-depth interviews as well as focus groups with diverse stakeholders from four provinces, namely West Java, East Java, South Sulawesi, and North Sumatera, provided the data for this study. To be thorough, the approach used in the study is based on the Technology, Organization, and Environment (TOE) framework. According to the findings, the majority of MSMEs use technology for marketing and sales, mainly through e-commerce. Meanwhile, for a variety of reasons, most of them continue to rely on traditional and semi-automatic technologies for production. According to the TOE framework, MSMEs lack those three parts of the technology adoption framework, particularly the environmental aspect, which is mostly due to a lack of cooperation among stakeholders. Finally, as a policy proposal, we offer a comprehensive technology adoption strategy based on the findings through an integrated MSMEs development information system including many important stakeholders.
Environmental change of consuming contents has led corporates to acknowledge the possibility of social media as being marketing platform. And as the importance of 'contents' is growing bigger at the same time, 'Content Marketing' is getting attention because 'Content' plays the key role in current marketing since it can deliver meaningful values to the companies and the customers both. Many companies are practicing contents marketing employing YouTube by not only creating their own YouTube channels and YouTube contents but also collaborating with YouTube creators. Purpose of this study is to figure out how domestic standalone beauty brands that are actively practicing content marketing, are exploiting the YouTube and to suggest design direction for future YouTube content marketing. 'Etude', 'Innisfree', 'Misha', 'The Face Shop' were selected for analyzing the content marketing cases using YouTube. As a result, this study could conclude that if the brand has inadequate number of subscribers, it is better to collaborate with the creators. Also, clarifying contents' purpose and distinguishing the way of delivering it is important.

This study aims to find implications for the introduction and practice of ESG by domestic fashion companies by examining the core ESG topics and strategies of Samsung C&T Fashion Division, Kolon FnC, F&F holdings, and Fila. ESG management analysis examined the importance of the criticality evaluation process, critical issues, and implementation strategies for each key topic based on the company's 2021 ESG sustainable management report, and analyzed the relationship with UN SDGs and the GRI. The analysis results are as follows: As for KCGS' ESG rating, Samsung C&T's fashion division, Kolon FnC, and Fila Holdings were rated A, while F&F Holdings was rated B+. The major issues derived from ESG's criticality assessment are environmental issues related to Samsung C&T's fashion division. Kolon FnC was found to have focused on the social sector and F&F Holdings focused on governance structure. After examining the correlation between the ESG core strategies of the investigated fashion companies and the 17 SDGs, the common areas were identified as quality employment, sustainable production and consumption, and climate changes and response. Correlation with the GRI Standards 2021 Index, (GRI 1, GRI 11, and GRI 12 created in 2021) was not reflected. In the future, it will be necessary to have a transparent governance structure that meets global standards, sets measurable goals, and continuously manages them. Other companies should also recognize ESG management processes that embrace various stakeholders and strengthens win-win cooperation to manage risks, and establish mid- to long-term response strategies.
