가족친화마을만들기를 위한 모델 및 핵심 요소 (A Discussion of the Family-Friendly Village Model and Important Factors)

  • A law facilitating a family-friendly social environment was legislated in December 2007. According to the law, projects for facilitating a family-friendly social environment consisted of a family-friendly working environment, a community environment, and the promotion of a family-friendly culture. There has been much progress in developing a family-friendly working environment through projects such as those advocating for flexible work hours, an employee support system, and child care and a family care support system. However, in terms of a family-friendly community environment project, there was no noticeable advancement. Hence, this study was conducted to find ways to vitalize the family-friendly village project in terms of the family-friendly community environment project. The major findings of this study were as follows: A family-friendly village could be structured on the three axes of time, space, and relation. The model of the family-friendly village project consists of the following three steps: motivation, systematization, and participating & practicing. In the motivation step, integration, community, and sustainability were needed as basic ideologies for a family-friendly village. In the systematization step, providing systematic educational systems for residents taking on leadership and activist roles was stressed. In the participating & practicing step, many ways to facilitate residents' social relationships were suggested: starting the project from matters of common interests, making the resolution of families' problems a communal task of the residents, accepting the opinions of various groups associated with the matter, and taking a differentiated project process according to the geographic, socio-economic, and demographic characteristics of the groups. It is strongly suggested that the family-friendly village should be taken as a common functional scheme in everyone of eight livable village models because a key factor in a family-friendly village, family care, serves an essential function in any livable village model.

친환경인증아파트 단위주거의 친환경적 계획요소 분석 (Analysis of Environment-friendly features in the unit of Environment-friendly Certificated Apartment)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate environment-friendly planning feature in Environment-friendly Certificated apartments and to use the basic planning data of housing. Seven Environment-friendly Certificated apartments have been analyzed. The findings of this study are as follows: Environment-friendly planning features are categorized into 4 items; floor planning feature, material planning feature, universal planning feature and environmental planning feature. Among floor planning features, natural sunlight, built-in closets, and differentiated floor plans are well considered, but the flexible floor plan for resident's lifestyle and green space are lack. Among material planning features, environment-friendly finishing materials, environment-friendly products and energy-efficient double-pane windows are well considered, but implementation for resource savings using recycled materials are lack. Among universal design planning features, removal of threshold and installation of safety device in bathroom are not well considered. Among environmental planning features, usage of alternative energy like solar energy are not applied. The environment-friendly planning features in interior space should be introduced in diverse ways.

  • As the problems of environment have been increasing, the architecture is exploring ways toward development of a idea for future generation. The purpose of this study is design element of environment-friendly architecture, and a general concept and mark of environment-friendly architecture are considered. And then, the design element is analyzed to come true the mark by considering the internal and external examples. The related elements on design of environment-friendly architecture are proposed by considering estimation items: The items are divided into six branches that is placement strategy, outside space furtherance, form of building, room environment furtherance, supply processing system, and preservation administration. Through this process, this study is proposed applicable solution of a concrete plan.

환경친화적 행동과 실천 장벽에 관한 학생과 교사의 인식 비교 (A Comparative Study on Awareness of Environment Friendly Behavior and Barriers to Implementing the Actions between Students and Environment Teachers)

  • This study was motivated to understand ways in which actors (students) perceived internal and external conditions of actions in determining responsibility of so-called environment friendly actions. To understand hidden reasons by which students conduct specific environmental actions more or less frequently may be more important and meaningful for environment teachers than to measure and know the frequency that their students do such actions. This study has been implemented by applying questionnaire survey to 752 ruddle school and high school students and 211 environment teachers. To test the hypothesis of this study that there would be significant differences in awareness of environment friendly actions and barriers to implementing those actions between students and environment teachers, frequency analysis and f-test have been conducted. Primary results of this study can be summarized as follows; It has been found that there were a number of evidences showing significant differences in awareness of environment friendly behavior between students and teachers. In term of action frequency, significant differences have been observed in 11 of the listed 20 actions. Similar resulted have been found in terms of perceived difficult, perceived effectiveness, and perceived guilty. These results seem to support an argument that the current list-making and checklist style of connecting students to so-called environment friendly actions need to be reviewed in a critical manner.

치료정원 관점에서 본 친환경 아파트의 조경실태 (Landscape Characteristics of Environmentally Friendly Apartments in the Dimension of Therapeutic Garden)

  • Apartments recently built have been strategically designed in many ways, and one of the most striking aspects is to utilize the idea of environmental friendliness and the application to the living environment. Especially, the number of environmentally friendly apartments that concern the health of residents have been increasing and their landscape is notably differentiated. The purpose of this research study was to examine the landscape of the environmentally friendly apartments that have been built in the past five years, and to assess its features in the aspects of therapeutic garden. Based upon the review of previous studies, this study constructed a checklist that was used to evaluate the planning components of the landscape during site visits. This study found that overall landscape selected in the study was well-planned. However, it was suggested that more features of therapeutic garden such as vegetation area which both encourages interaction with residents and produces therapeutic benefits be adopted in planning the advanced therapeutic garden of environmentally friendly apartments.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze minimalism in the environment-friendly aspect and to suggest methodology of environment-friendly fashion design. The results of this study are as follows. First, it is possible to create newly fashion-designed goods by re-arranging used goods. This method is environment-friendly, in that it recycles resources and simplifies production process. It can also meet the sense of beauty of consumers by reviving the intrinsic beauty of the used goods. Second, When we produce brand new fashion-designed goods with used goods as raw materials, the new ones reflect specific characters of the used goods which originate from their own times and regions. In this way, this method can be a fashion design which accommodate multi-cultural trends. Third, it is possible to produce goods designed by inspiration from a human body. This fashion-design method includes several ways, such as usage of human body silhouette, composition of colors using natural dyeing, and usage of natural materials. Recognizing a human being as a creature interacting with the nature can broaden range of imagination in design methodology.

  • According to the New Town Development Plan, Gang-buk area, a symbol of slum in Seoul will be changed new residential area. There are a lot of challenges for success this project. First of all, new ways of city plan "pre-plan and development" and "environmentally friendly development" are necessary to carry out this plan. Another important idea is how to overcome conflicts such as unbalanced development, a traffic jam and environment problem. Also, Government and a citizen agree that this project have to accept eco-protectable and sustainable development theory. For increasing green area ratio and keeping eco-diversity, planting at roofs and water circulation system in residential complex are compulsory. Green network based on environmentally friendly development provides a natural energe stream on eco-system and protects a city from air pollution, hot air island phenomenon and a flood.

  • Our global environment and ecology are now facing crisis due to the hrincreased waster materials caused by reckless abuse of resources and energy with the continuous development of our society. Therefore the whole nation should recognize the environmental pollution seriously and should accept sustainable development principles. The country is looking for actions against the problems in various ways. The introduction of reckless and duplicating western housing plan should be ceased but a new housing plan conforming to our nature should be found. In this regard, it is believed that it is a good alternative to succeed tradition and identity of Korean housing plan and suggest a new plan for better ecological housing by analyzing the environment friendliness of our traditional Korean houses. In this study, the traditional residential components were divided into physical and design aspects and the characteristics of environment friendly Korean traditional houses were analyzed.

  • After the new house symptoms recently, room environment pollution problem of building syndrome and so on is becoming research about ways to solve this being risen. Is taking advantage of nature data by building materials by one of this way, but Friendly Environmental performance examination for structure material is insufficient misgovernment being real condition that put emphasis in ability as most embellishment and in finish. Environmental examination is insufficient misgovernment on factor itself as structure material. Also, being real condition that radon that is responsible for lung cancer occurrence next to smoke in building materials such as concrete and so on is happened, the danger is reported much through mass communications and research paper etc. Therefore, this research measured radon release amount and the carbon dioxide adsorption rate for physical special quality measuring and Friendly Environment Efficiency that follow to 'KS F 4004 Concrete bricks' regulation after manufacture Concrete Bricks utilizing charcoal that is nature material by sand. This study finding carbon dioxide density appeared and displayed effect that charcoal Controls radon release that happen in Concrete Bricks to maximum 74% that decrease to best 95% though decreased the charcoal addition rate increases.

영국의 지속가능한 교육환경을 위한 친환경 학교 디자인에 관한 연구 - BREEAM 인증 사례를 중심으로 - (A Study on Eco-School Design for Sustainable Education Environment in the UK - Focused on BREEAM Certification Projects -)

  • The world is constantly endeavoring to reduce global $CO_2$ emissions by international agreements. However, in general, the public cannot be fully understood and it is difficult to know how to implement sustainable development. The purpose of the study is to explore the concept of Eco-School and to investigate the eco-friendly education program in order to prepare an environmental school design guidelines. In addition, an analysis of the UK's Green Certification Program(BREEAM) explores the sustainability of the educational environment and how it achieve the built environment. Furthermore, this study suggests ways to increase sustainability in education and design field. First, through the literature review, recent trends of eco-friendly school design will be analyzed and the concept with characteristics of Eco-School system should be examined. Second, the evaluation factors and application methods of BREEAM will be explored, and the correlation between Eco-School and BREEAM evaluation items by sustainable development goals of United Nations Development Program(UNDP) will be considered. Through the analysis of the BREEAM schools which are constructed in England based on the BREEAM New Construction 2018, design characteristics and methods of eco-friendly schools will be researched so this study suggest practical ways to contribute design guideline which enables to create the specific policy and design improvement of eco-friendly schools in Korea.
