고객지향 수주생산 기업을 위한 제품사양 기반의 견적관리시스템 구축 (Development of a Product Specification Based Quotation Management System for Customer-Oriented Manufacturing Enterprise)

  • Nowadays, customer-oriented manufacturing enterprises such as airplane, ship, ship engine, etc are knowledge-intensive and higher added value industries. In these companies, to quickly respond customer's order, a quotation management is a very important task. But, this task is very complex, time-consuming, resource- consuming, and difficult process because it is related with many departments within a company. In this paper, for the effective and efficient quotation management, the concept of product specification framework is introduced because a quotation BOM (bills of material) can be created from product specification. Also, this paper presents the product specification framework based quotation management process and implements the quotation management system for the ship engine division of 'H' company, one of customer-oriented manufacturing enterprises. As a result, the proposed quotation management concept reduced a lead time of drawing out quotations from $3{\sim}10$ days to 1 hour. And, the constructed quotation management system achieved a rapidity, accuracy, quality, and workload reduction of the quotation management process.

A New Estimation Method of Video Traffic Specification in QoS-guaranteed Networks

  • Traffic specification plays a crucial role in the resource reservation for video services over the packet-switching networks. The current development of QoS-guaranteed service still leaves a wide space for the selection of traffic specification. We propose a new method to estimate the traffic specification of variable-bit-rate (VBR) video for deterministic service. The method is based on the concept of empirical envelope and the delay bound. The solution shows to be simple yet it provides excellent network utilization.

금속표면처리의 미국정부규격 (Military and Federal Specification)

  • 미국의 정부규격은 국방규격(Military Specification and Standard) 연방규격(Federal Specification Standard)이 있으며 금속표면처리에 관련된 규격인 전기도금규격, 아노다이징, 화성피막처리, 기타 코팅 규격은 40여종으로 되어있다. 이들 규격서와 표준서는 미국내 정부베이소 구매시의 금속표면처리 제품과 때로는 장비의 구입 계약시에 지침이 되고 있다. 전민간의 산업체와 일반 상품의 가공에 생산과 품질관리에 두루 적용되고 있어 국내 대미주 지역의 수출은 물론 표면처리 제품의 생산 공정에 활용-기여하고자 규격 주요내용의 기술과 구입방법을 소개하고져 한다.

  • 시방서는 공사를 진행함에 있어서 계약의 서류뿐만 아니라 안전한 시공성의 확보와 품질을 향상시킬 수 있는 중요한 서류가 된다. 현재 국내에 모듈러 건축물에 사용하고 있는 시방서는 공사 시방서 밖에 없으며, 대부분의 내용이 건축표준시방서를 그대로 차용하여 사용하고 있어 모듈러 건축물의 작업 내용을 반영하지 못하고 있어 구성내용이 지침서에 가깝다. 국내 모듈러 건축물 시방서의 현 상황은 모듈러 건축물의 품질 저하에 영향을 미치고 있다. 따라서 모듈러 건축물의 모듈러 공정 모니터링을 통한 세부적인 프로세스 분석과 분석된 activity를 가지고 단계별 연관관계를 IDEF모델링을 적용하여 체계적으로 분석하고, 일반화를 통하여 모듈러 건축물에 특화된 전문시방서의 구성체계를 제안하고자 한다. 도출한 대분류는 크게 공장제작, 운송, 현장설치 총 3가지로 나누어지며, 하위 구성체계는 전문가 자문의견을 반영하여 공장제작의 바닥판 조립에서부터 현장설치의 접합부위 마감까지 총 32가지의 공사 항목으로 나누어지는 것으로 도출하였다.

국내 연약지반특성을 고려한 연직배수재 필터 시방기준에 대한 기초연구 (Study on the Specification for the Filter of the PBD)

  • In this study, a specification for the filter system of plastic board drain using in korea. When PBDs was installed in the soft ground, bridging, blocking, blinding and clogging phenomena could be appeared near the PBD. Especially, clogging phenomena near the filter of PBD is very important factor to determine the life span of the vertical drainage system. Therefore, in this study, we proposed the specification on the filter of PBD considering the size of soil particle. To verify the proposed specification, model tests were conducted by using filter seepage tester. From the model test, newly proposed specification which considered the size of soil particle maintained the ability of seepage of the filter system of PBD.

컴포넌트 결합 명세서에 기반한 컴포넌트 결합 모델 (A Component Composition Model based on Component Composition Specification)

  • 현재 대부분의 컴포넌트 기반 개발 환경 들이 특정 형태 컴포넌트와 이를 위한 프레임웍 기능 제공을 위주로 하는데 대하여, 좀 더 효과적인 컴포넌트 기반 개발 환경의 구축을 위해서는 재귀적 컴포넌트 결합 및 다양한 결합형태의 지원, 그리고 다중 티어 아키텍쳐를 지원할 수 있는 방안의 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 이의 해결 방안의 하나로 본 논문에서는 재귀적 컴포넌트 결합을 지원할 수 있으며, 컴포넌트간 상호 동작 조건을 기술할 수 있도록 확장된 컴포넌트 결합 명세의 기술 방안 및 이를 이용한 컴포넌트 결합 모델을 제안하였다. 제안된 결합 명세서는 기존의 컴포넌트 기술 방법들에서 지적되고 있는 컨트랙트로서의 부족한 기능을 보완하고 있을 뿐만 아니라 다양한 형태의 컴포넌트간 결합을 일관된 형태로 지원 함으로써 다중 티어(Multi-Tier) 개념을 지원하는 컴포넌트 아키텍쳐의 구현 및 이를 위한 컴포넌트 결합 도구의 구현에 활용될 수 있다.

식스시그마 프로젝트 사례에서 혁신효과 분석을 위한 품질척도의 특성 및 적용 (The Characteristics and Implementations of Quality Metrics for Analyzing Innovation Effects in Six Sigma Projects)

  • This research discusses the characteristics and the implementation strategies for two types of quality metrics to analyze innovation effects in six sigma projects: fixed specification type and moving specification type. $Z_{st}$, $P_{pk}$ are quality metrics of fixed specification type that are influenced by predetermined specification. In contrast, the quality metrics of moving specification type such as Strictly Standardized Mean Difference(SSMD), Z-Score, F-Statistic and t-Statistic are independent from predetermined specification. $Z_{st}$ sigma level obtains defective rates of Parts Per Million(PPM) and Defects Per Million Opportunities(DPMO). However, the defective rates between different industrial sectors are incomparable due to their own technological inherence. In order to explore relative method to compare defective rates between different industrial sectors, the ratio of specification and natural tolerance called, $P_{pk}$, is used. The drawback of this $P_{pk}$ metric is that it is highly dependent on the specification. The metrics of F-Statistic and t-Statistic identify innovation effect by comparing before-and-after of accuracy and precision. These statistics are not affected by specification, but affected by type of statistical distribution models and sample size. Hence, statistical significance determined by above two statistics cannot give a same conclusion as practical significance. In conclusion, SSMD and Z-Score are the best quality metrics that are uninfluenced by fixed specification, theoretical distribution model and arbitrary sample size. Those metrics also identify the innovation effects for before-and-after of accuracy and precision. It is beneficial to use SSMD and Z-Score methods along with popular methods of $Z_{st}$ sigma level and $P_{pk}$ that are commonly employed in six sigma projects. The case studies from national six sigma contest from 2011 to 2012 are proposed and analyzed to provide the guidelines for the usage of quality metrics for quality practitioners.

생산자규격을 고려한 소비자만족품질지표의 개발 (Development of Customer Satisfaction Quality Indicator Considering Producer's Specification Limits)

  • Process Capability ($C_{pk}$) is a representative measure of how well the producer manages dispersion and bias for the specifications needed by the consumer. This is expressed as a ratio of 6 times the natural tolerance to the specification. As the producer manages the dispersion small, the capacity index becomes higher. And it is classified into 5 grades according to the degree of management. It is a measure of the quality of processes used in most industrial fields. However, $C_{pk}$ is calculated by only reflecting the mean and dispersion of the process, there is a disadvantage that it can not give information about the economic loss caused by the inconsistency of the process with the target value. Overcoming these drawbacks, process capability indexes reflecting various types of loss functions such as $C_{pm}$, $C^+_{pm}$ and $C_{pl}$ have been developed. However, all of these previous studies have applied the limit to the consumer specification, which is based on the traditional and passive quality perception that the quality characteristic should exist within the limits of the consumer specification. In this study, we will develop 'Customer Satisfaction Quality Indicator (CSQI)' which is a quantitative indicator that can be fully evaluated when the manufacturer's specification limit, which is an aggressive quality strategy, is applied. This is expected to be useful decision information for both producers and consumers.

건조사양서 요구사항의 추적을 위한 온톨로지 모델과 제품구조 통합 기초 연구 (Integration of Ontology Model and Product Structure for the Requirement Management of Building Specification)

  • Ship design requirements described in the building specification should be reflected in the design process. This paper identifies the configuration of requirements mentioned in the building specification using Ontology Representation Language (OWL). Ontology-based semantic search system specifies the requirement items. Through this extraction, building specifications mentioned for each entry are configured to the tree. Tracking requirements for ship design and a set of procedures to instruct is also used for the V model of systems engineering. The semantic search engine of robot agent and ontology can search the requirements specification document and extract the design information. Thereafter, design requirements for the tracking model that proposes the relationship between the associated BOM(bill of material) and product structure.

  • Testing of mixed-signal circuit has become a difficult task for test engineers and efficient test solution to these problems are needed. In this paper a new specification-based mixed-signal test method called TSS(Time Slot Specification) using high performance current sensors and a novel test point selection technique without heavy computational overhead are proposed. External output and power nodes are used for test points and accessed by the current sensors in the ATE.
