타인의 단어와 행동 목표의 관계성에 대한 10개월 영아의 이해에 있어서 사회정서 단서의 영향 (Socio-Emotional Cues Can Help 10-Month-Olds Understand the Relationship Between Others' Words and Goals)

  • Objective: The current study examined whether providing both an actor's eye gaze and emotional expressions can help 10-month-olds interpret a change in the actor's words as a signal to a change in the actor's goal object. Methods: Sixteen 10-month-olds participated in an experiment using the violation-of-expectation paradigm and were compared to 16 10-month-olds in a control condition. The infants in the experimental condition were familiarized to an event in which an actor looks at one of two novel objects, excitingly utters a sentence, "Wow, here's a modi!", and grasps the object. The procedure in the control condition was identical to that of the experimental condition except that the infants heard the sentence without any emotional excitement and the eye gaze of the agent was hidden by a visor. In the following test trial, the infants in both conditions heard the agent changing her word (from modi to papu) and watched her grasping either the same object as before (old-goal event) or the new object (new-goal event). Results: The infants in the experimental condition looked at the old-goal event longer than at the new-goal event, suggesting that they expected the agent to change her goal object when the actor changed her word. However, the infants in the control condition looked at the two events about equally. Conclusion: When both eye gaze and emotional cues were provided, 10-month-olds were able to exploit the agent's verbal information when reasoning about whether the agent would pursue the same goal object as before.

  • The purpose of this study was to propose some plan which could satisfy consumer's expectation emotional needs by comparing emotional scale between fashion brand image and brand website coloration image. For this study, 12 brand websites within four fashion zone, men's clothing, women's clothing, casual wear, and sports wear were chosen. The questionnaires were comprised of 27 emotional adjectives which were selected from previous studies. The questionnaires were distributed to university students and office workers for 3 to 17 on September. Among them, 118 questionnaires were analyzed by SPSS tool. The qualitative analysis for emotional adjective sorting, content analysis for website color chip sorting, and quantitative analysis for consumers were used in this study. Some differences exist between brand image and website coloration band image as the result. As the numbers of internet user became larger, the costumer's emotional image which gives maximum satisfaction is getting more important in fashion brand website. Therefore, fashion website managers should satisfy consumers with functional and emotional needs.

  • In the past, the important factors of buying the sports shoes for the customers were price and comfort. However these days, the sports shoes are considered as a part of fashion and may not satisfy the customers because their emotional preference have not been properly considered in design phase. The customers' desire and expectation for unique design are growing. Thus, the development of sports shoes not only considering the anthropometric foot characteristics but also satisfying the customers emotional preference is needed. In this study, the basic data on the customer's emotional preference to the design of sports shoes were obtained using human sensibility ergonomics approach and formed a data base. Also, we developed ail interface that can be used for the customers to select the emotionally preferred sports shoes.

조선시대 아동교육용 문헌에 나타난 정서과정에 대한 구범적 기대(II) (A Study on Normative Expectation of Emotional Process in Children′s Tectbooks of the Chosen Dynasty(II))

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the normative expectations of positive emotions such as happiness and pride in Korean culture by analyzing the children's textbooks in the Chosen Dynasty period. The method of this study was document analysis and the materials for analysis were 'Dongmongsensp', 'Gyukmongyogyul', 'Myungimbogam', and 'Sohak', that were the textbooks for children's education and invoked the ethics of individual life based on Confucianism. The analysis was focused on the antecedent events, emotional consequences, and emotional regulation in the emotional process of happiness and pride. According to the analysis, happiness was caused by the accomplishment of cultural tasks such as supporting parents, observing laws, being moderate, improving oneself with reading good books, and modeling good deeds, as well as parents' love, which had desirable consequences. Hence, the emotional regulation was to enhance happiness, but far as immoderate experience of happiness, the regulatory rule was expected to suppress it. Also, the antecedents of pride were those demonstrating to have power or occupying a high social position, and the consequences of pride led to self-destruction, and pride was therefore not allowed to be expressed. Consequently, happiness was enhanced because it motivated individuals to accomplish cultural tasks of interdependence, whereas pride was inhibited because it tended to disengage self from social connectedness.

부산·경남지역 의료소비자들의 전문병원에 대한 지각 만족도와 기대요소 간의 인과관계 (The Cause-and-Effect Relationship between Perceptual Satisfaction and Expectation Factors for Special Hospitals by Busan and Gyungnam Medical Consumers)

  • 본 연구는 중소병원들이 지속적으로 안정성과 효과성을 유지할 수 있는 전략방안의 검토를 위하여 전문병원에 대한 기대수준 대비 이용 후 지각 만족도와 기대요소 간의 관계를 살펴보았다. 연구방법은 20세 이상의 부산 및 경남 거주자를 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여, 카이제곱 검정, 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 응답자의 68.0%가 특성화를 표방하는 병원을 전문병원으로 인식하였고, 보건복지부 지정병원이라 인식한 응답자는 21.3%로 확인되었다. 둘째, 주관적으로 인식하는 전문병원 이용 경험이 있는 경우에는 대부분의 이용자들이 기대수준 대비 지각하는 만족도가 충족되었으며, 이용했던 병원을 계속 이용 할 의사가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 기대수준 대비 이용 후 지각 만족도에는 치료에 대한 안전성과 치료의 질적 수준이 유의하게 영향을 미치는 인과관계가 있음을 확인하였다. 이 결과는 의료소비자들의 지각 만족도 향상과 감정적 애착 관리를 통한 장기적이고 지속적인 효과를 위한 전략 수립에 유용한 정보로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

가상강의에 대한 소비자만족모델: 기대불일치 패러다임을 중심으로 (Consumer Satisfaction Model for Cyber Learning: Focused on Expectation-disconfirmation Paradigm)

  • This study measured college students' levels of satisfaction with their cyber learning through an online survey of students who had taken one or more cyber learning before. 500 returned and usable questionnaires were analyzed and SPSS WIN 12.0 was used for the descriptive statistics, t-test, factor analysis and analysis of covariance structures. The results are as follows; First, college students were very interested in their cyber learning. Their decision to take the cyber learning was initiated more by emotional motives (m=3.13) than by rational motives (m=3.35). Second, the consumers' expectations for the cyber learning were divided into the 'Expectation for service quality' and the 'Expectation for economy,' and their 'Expectation for economy'(m=4.02) was higher than their 'Expectations for service quality'(m=3.60). Third, the consumers' expectations for the cyber learning and the results of the cyber learning were analyzed, and a discrepancy between these two were also analyzed. The analysis of discrepancy between the two showed that the average of the results was lower than that of the expectations, which means that the cyber learning did not meet the consumers' expectations in every aspect, However, the average satisfaction level was 3.20, which means consumers were satisfied with the cyber learning overall. Fourth, causes of dissatisfaction with the cyber learning were divided into internal factors due to personal matters and external factors due to classes and other factors. It was found that dissatisfaction due to internal factors was greater than that due to external factors. Lastly, the factors affecting satisfaction/dissatisfaction with the cyber learning and willingness to use it again were analyzed. The results showed that the motive for its use affected the formation of expectation but it did not affect the results. Satisfaction with the cyber learning affected the willingness to use it again positively. However, the effect of dissatisfaction on the willingness to use it again was not statistically significant.

노인의 독립적 삶의 기대감이 세대 간 자원 하향이전에 미치는 영향 연구 (The Study on the Impact of the Expectation of Independent Life in Old Age on Intergenerational Downward Transfer of Korean Old People)

  • 본 연구는 자녀와 동거하지 않는 65세 이상 노인을 대상으로 노년기 독립적인 삶의 기대감과 노인의 하향이전의 관계를 실증적으로 검토하여 분석하였다. 분석에 사용된 자료는 "2008년도 전국 노인생활실태 및 복지욕구조사"자료이며, 자료분석은 다중회귀분석을 이용하였다. 분석결과, 노인의 독립적인 삶의 기대감 정도는 노인의 하향이전 정도에 정적(+)인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 구체적으로 경제적 신체적 독립적인 삶의 기대감은 노인의 경제적 서비스 하향이전에 정적(+)인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타난 반면, 심리적 독립적인 삶의 기대감은 노인의 서비스 하향이전에는 정적(+)인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났지만 경제적 하향이전에는 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

화장의 사회.심리적 기대효과에 따른 화장이미지와 자의식에 관한 연구 (A Study on Makeup Image and Self-Consciousness According to the Level of Expected Socio-Psychological Effect of Makeup)

  • This study was made to investigate the differences in Korean woman's perceived makeup image and self-consciousness according to their expectation level in socio-psychological effect of makeup, and to gather information needed for the better understanding of cosmetics consumers and more effective marketing activities of cosmetics industries. Normative-descriptive survey method using questionnaire was employed for the present study. The survey was conducted in August 2001 and the sample consisted of 942 women between the ages of 18 and 50 residing in Seoul and Kyungi province. Data were analyzed by SPSS package. Factor analysis, ANOVA, and MANOVA were employed for the analysis of the data. The results are as follows : (1) Six factors emerged from the data related to the category of expected socio-psychological effect of makeup. Those factors were named as "increasing positiveness", "refreshment", "covering weakness", "self-expression", "consideration for others", and "the tool for self-change". Four factors were found in the category of makeup image, and the factors were named as "refinement", "nobility", "favorable impression ", and "personality ". (2) There was a tendency that those who highly expect the socio-psychological effect of makeup have more positive self-image. Considering this differences in self-image according to the level of expected socio-psychological effect of makeup. service activities for the consumers' positive opinion and attitude to the effect of makeup are needed, and it seems that those service activities will have a good influence on the consumers' emotional health. (3) Subjects with higher level of social anxiety showed higher expectations in refreshment, covering weakness and self-expression. Considering this trend, marketers have to make an constant effort for the variety of cosmetics and makeup manner by which consumers satisfy their expectation in makeup. It seems that the satisfaction of their expectation on the help of makeup effect will contribute to lessen social anxiety, and to get emotional stability. (4) Subjects with higher personal self-anxiety showed higher expectations of the effect. "increase of positiveness". 아동의 정서적 부적응 행동과 관련변인과의 인과모형 분석 (A Casual Model between Emotional Maladjustment Behaviors of Children and Related Variables)

  • The purpose of this research is to study the causal model among mother related variables, child abuse, and children's emotional maladjustment behaviors. The sample subjects were 542 pairs of fifth and sixth grade elementary school students and first as well as eighth grade middle school students, and their mothers. The major findings of the research are as follows: First, the result of multiple regression analysis on the effects of the maternal parenting stress and marital satisfaction to the children's abuse indicates that stress related to learning expectation and stress related to relationship with child are the significant contributing factor to physical abuse and verbal abuse. Second, the result of multiple regression analysis on the effects of the maternal parenting stress and child abuse to the children's emotional maladjustment behaviors indicate that verbal abuse is the significant contributing factor. Third, looking at causal relations of the maternal variables (maternal parenting stress, marital satisfaction) and child abuse (physical abuse, verbal abuse, neglect) to the children's emotional maladjustment behaviors, maternal variables impact indirectly through the child abuse factor.

모바일 인스턴트 메신저 사용자의 지속사용행동에 대한 영향요인과 습관의 조절효과: WeChat을 중심으로 (Factors Affecting the Mobile Instant Messenger Users' Continued Usage Behavior and the Moderating Role of Habits: Focused on WeChat)

  • Purpose Recently the usage of Mobile Instant Messenger(MIM) has been increased all over the world. With the development of Mobile Internet, a large amount of mobile application came into being, such as WeChat, the most popular MIM now in China. It has a huge number of registered users, but just only half of them are the "active users". This study intends to examine what factors affect MIM user's continuance intention and actual usage behavior. Design/Methodology/Approach Based on the framework of Perception/Emotion-Behavior and the extended ECM-ISC (Expectation Confirmation Model of IS Continuance), this research introduced some unique variables to a user satisfaction model focusing on perceived/emotional factors in WeChat. In this model, perceived/emotional factors have been divided into enabler factors and inhibitor factors to analyze the effect on continuance intention and actual usage behavior. Also, the moderate effect of the habits was discussed. An online questionnaire survey of 203 WeChat users was conducted and the empirical validation was employed to test the research model. Findings From the empirical results, perceived usefulness, expectation confirmation, and needs for affiliation significantly affected satisfaction. Also, satisfaction influenced continuance intention which led to actual usage behavior. We found that the habit moderates the relationship between satisfaction and continuance intention. The result of this study provides guidance to the developers and operators of WeChat on how to improve enhance users' satisfaction and loyalty.
