The Impact of Emotional Intelligence Orientation on Audit Sustainability: Empirical Evidence from Vietnam

  • The study investigates and measures the impact of the emotional intelligence orientation on audit sustainability in Vietnam. Survey data for this research were collected from 260 auditors (CPAs) currently working in auditing firms, for the period from April 2020 to July 2020. In this study, we have built a model with two dependent variables (Emotional intelligence orientation and Audit sustainability) and six independent variables (Proactive audit vision, Continuous audit development, Dynamic audit experience, Audit environmental change, Stakeholder expectation pressure, Advocacy culture). The research methods used include Cronbach's Alpha test, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmation factor analysis (CFA) and linear structural model analysis (SEM). The results showed that (1) Proactive audit vision, (2) Continuous audit development, (3) Dynamic audit experience, (4) Audit environmental change, (5) Stakeholder expectation pressure are positively related to emotional intelligence orientation. However, Advocacy culture is not positively related to Emotional intelligence orientation. The findings of this study suggest that emotional intelligence orientation positively impacts audit sustainability (similar to the findings by Thapayom, Ussahawanitchakit, & Boonlua, 2017, 2018 in Thailand). The results of this study provide a scientific basis for managers at auditing firms to make appropriate decisions to improve auditing activities in the coming years.

Correlation between pre-dementia emotional control behavior and symptomes of dementia patients

  • This study is a cross-sectional research study that analyzed the relationship between emotional regulation behavior and knowledge related to dementia among various age groups in order to collect basic data to reveal the relationship between the characteristics of emotional regulation of dementia patients before dementia and the symptoms of rapid emotional change after dementia. Data collection was from March 1 to March 20, 2024, and a total of 223 people were voluntarily participating in the study from their 20s to 70s. The collected data were t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and regression analysis using sps 18.0. The analysis showed that people who normally act pretentiously were not related to dementia-related knowledge, but those who act honestly had an impact on dementia-related content knowledge (t=14.808, p<0.01), treatment knowledge of dementia (t=7.916, p<0.01), and knowledge of nursing dementia (t=12.453, p<0.01) under a statistical significance level. And it was found that the inner behavior of emotional regulation behavior had an effect on dementia knowledge at 49.8%, the effect on treatment knowledge was 22.1%, and the effect on nursing knowledge was 41.2%. (p<0.01). Based on the results of this study, we propose a continuous study on how emotional behavior before dementia is related to rapid emotional change behavior after dementia disease.

대기업 구성원의 집단적 문화 성향이 감성활용과 변화적 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향 (Collectivistic cultural influence on Change oriented Organizational Citizenship Behavior with Emotional Regulation mediating)

  • 본 연구는 기업 구성원의 집단적 문화성향이 변화적 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향 및 감성활용의 매개효과를 확인하는데 목적을 두고 분석하였다. 홉스테드의 문화차원인 집단적 문화성향은 아시아국가에서 높게 나타났으며 관련 선행연구는 학교 및 국가별 차원에서 대부분 분석되었다. 본 연구는 홉스테드 문화차원을 개인적 차원으로 설문화한 Yoo's Cultural Value Scale (CVSCALE) 사용하여 국내 S 전자회사의 임직원 200명을 상대로 자기기입식 설문지를 2주 동안 수집, SPSS 21.0을 통해 통계 분석했으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 구성원의 집단적 문화성향은 변화적 조직시민 행동에 유의한 (+) 영향을 미친다고 나타났으며 개인의 감성활용이 집단적 문화성향과 변화적 조직시민행동을 완전 매개한다는 결과가 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 구성원의 집단적 문화성향이 조직의 성과에 긍정적 영향을 준다는 점을 검증하였다. 본 연구결과를 통해 집단적 문화성향과 감성활용 능력이 조직시민행동의 선행요인의 가능성이란 새로운 시사점을 제공하였다. 또한 구성원들의 감성 활용 훈련 및 교육을 제도적으로 정착하여 개인 및 그룹차원의 성과를 향상하도록 제시하였다.

조직구조 개편 시 변화관리활동 지각이 구성원의 정서적 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 - 변화수용의 매개효과를 중심으로 - (The Impact of Change Management Activities on Members' Emotional-Organizational Commitment During the Military Restructuring - Focused on the Mediating Effect of Change Acceptance -)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 군 조직구조 개편 시 부대의 변화관리활동(인사공정성, 변혁적 리더십) 노력에 대한 구성원들의 지각이 구성원들의 정서적 직몰입에 미치는 영향을 조사하고, 이들 관계에서 구성원의 변화수용의 정도에 따른 매개효과를 연구하는데 있다. 현재 군은 급변하는 안보상황과 병역자원의 감소에 능동적으로 대응하기 위하여 군 구조 개편을 추진하고 있다. 조직이 구조조정을 겪을 때 변화관리활동을 효과적으로 하지 못하면 구성원의 저항에 부딪히고 자칫 성공을 기대하기 어렵다. 따라서 본 연구는 구성원의 인사공정성 및 변혁적 리더십 지각이 구성원의 정서적 조직몰입에 미치는 영향인 직접효과를 가설화 하였다. 또한 인사공정성 지각과 정서적 조직몰입 사이에서 변화수용의 매개효과와 마찬가지로 변혁적 리더십 지각과 정서적 조직몰입 사이에서 변화수용의 매개효과를 위한 가설을 설정하였다. 설문은 군 구조개혁의 변화를 경험한 부대의 간부들을 대상으로 실시하였으며 유효 설문응답자는 219명이었다. 분석 결과, 인사공정성과 변혁적 리더십이 구성원의 정서적 조직몰입에 긍정적 영향을 주었으며, 구성원의 변화수용이 이들 간의 관계를 부분적으로 매개함을 밝혔다. 이론적 시사점으로 변화수용의 매개효과를 제시함으로써 이론의 확대를 가져왔고, 실무적으로는 군 구조개편을 위한 변화관리활동 중 인사공정성과 변혁적 리더십의 중요성을 식별하였으며 구성원들의 변화수용 향상을 위한 노력이 중요함을 제시하였다.

변칙사례에 의한 인지적 반응 유형에 따른 정의적 반응 및 학생들이 제시하는 효과적인 개념변화 교수-학습 전략 (Emotional Responses and Perceived Teaching-Learning Strategies for Effective Conceptual Change by the Types of Cognitive Responses to a Discrepant Event)

  • 이 연구에서는 중학교 1학년 28명을 대상으로 변칙사례에 의한 인지적 반응 유형에 따른 정의적 반응 및 학생들이 제시하는 효과적인 개념변화 교수-학습전략을 조사하기 위한 면담을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 변칙사례의 신뢰성과 타당성을 강조할 경우 인지갈등이 더 잘 유발되는 것으로 나타났다. 흥미와 불안과 같은 정의적 반응이 나타나는 양상은 인지적 반응 유형 및 대안가설의 제시 유무와 명확성에 따라 달랐으며, 정의적 반응이 개념학습 과정에 긍정적인 영향을 준다고 생각하는 학생들이 많았다. 신념감소, 주변신념변화, 신념변화 반응을 보인 학생들의 경우, 효과적인 개념변화를 위해 필요하다고 생각하는 교수-학습전략이 대안가설의 제시 유무에 따라 다르게 나타났다. 이에 대한 교육적 함의를 논의하였다.

An Art-Robot Expressing Emotion with Color Light and Behavior by Human-Object Interaction

  • The era of the fourth industrial revolution, which will bring about a great wave of change in the 21st century, is the age of super-connection that links humans to humans, objects to objects, and humans to objects. In the smart city and the smart space which are evolving further, emotional engineering is a field of interdisciplinary researches that still attract attention with the development of technology. This paper proposes an emotional object prototype as a possibility of emotional interaction in the relation between human and object. By suggesting emotional objects that produce color changes and movements through the emotional interactions between humans and objects against the current social issue-loneliness of modern people, we have approached the influence of our lives in the relation with objects. It is expected that emotional objects that are approached from the fundamental view will be able to be in our lives as a viable cultural intermediary in our future living space.

감성 상태 기반의 영상 저작물 스토리 분석 시스템 및 분석 방법 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on System for Analyzing Story of Cinematographic work Based on Estimating Tension of User)

  • A video-work story analysis system based on emotional state measurement includes a content provision unit which provides story content of a video-work, a display unit which displays content provided by the content provision unit, an emotional state measurement unit which measures a tense-relaxed emotional state of a viewer viewing the displayed story content, a story pattern analysis unit which analyzes the tense-relaxed emotional state measured from the emotional state measurement unit according to a scene in the story content provided by the content provision unit, and a story pattern display unit which prints out an analysis result or displays the analysis result as an image. The emotional state measurement unit measures a tense or relaxed emotional state through one or more analyses among a brainwave analysis, a vital sign analysis, or an ocular state analysis. A writer may obtain support in an additional scenario modification work, and an investor may obtain support in making a decision through the above description. Furthermore, the video-work story analysis system and analysis method based on emotional state measurement may extract a particular pattern with respect to a change in an emotional state of a viewer, compile statistics, and analyze a correlation between a story and an emotional state.

간호사의 감정노동과 관련된 변인의 메타분석 (A Meta-analysis of the Variables related to the Emotional Labor of Nurses)

  • Purpose: The study was done to verify the effect size of the variables related to the emotional labor of nurses. Methods: A total of 47 article on variables related to the emotional labor of nurses and published from 2006 to 2014 were used for the meta-analysis. Results: Variables with the largest effect size related to emotional labor were identified as the variables of work task, organization and individual characteristics in descending order of effect size. The sub-factors with the greatest effect size in the work task variable were exhaustion and work commitment, while for organization variables, intention to change jobs had the largest effect size. For individual characteristics, physical symptoms had the largest effect size. Conclusion: The results of this study are meaningful as the first study to integrate research results on variables related to the emotional labor of Korean nurses, providing practical data for the management of emotional labor.

The Effect of Emotional Labor on Stress Coping Style and Psychological Burnout among Call Center Employees

  • The aim of this study is to measure the degrees of emotional labor and to empirically analyze how emotional labor affects individual's stress coping style and psychological burnout. The results were as follows. First, the call center employees were actually experiencing emotional labor and it was shown that the deep acting was higher than the surface acting. Second, the degree of experiencing stress coping style and psychological burnout appeared differently depending on the socio-economic variables of the employee. Third, despite the differences in the direction, there is a correlation between emotional labor, stress coping style, and psychological burnout. Fourth, the characteristics of the employees and emotional labor clearly affected stress coping style and psychological burnout. Therefore, companies will have to provide various psychological treatments and training programs for call center employees, and a change in social awareness, where people take the service industry workers' kindness for granted, is required as well.

Determining the Relative Differences of Emotional Speech Using Vocal Tract Ratio

  • In this paper, our study focuses on obtaining the differences of emotional speech in three different vocal tract sections. The vocal tract area was computed from the area function of the emotional speech. The total vocal tract was divided into 3 sections (vocal fold section, middle section and lip section) to acquire the differences in each vocal tract section of emotional speech. The experiment data include 6 emotional speeches from 3 males and 3 females. The 6 emotions consist of neutral, happiness, anger, sadness, fear and boredom. The measured difference is computed by the ratio through comparing each emotional speech with the normal speech. The experimental results present that there is not a remarkable difference at lip section, but the fear and sadness have a great change at the vocal fold part.
