Systematic Review of Acupoint Catgut Embedding Therapy for Climacteric Hot Flush (갱년기 안면홍조에 대한 매선치료 : 체계적 문헌고찰)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this systematic review was to overview and evaluate the effectiveness of acupoint catgut embedding for climacteric hot flush. Methods: We searched articles from CNKI, Pubmed CENTRAL, Koreantk, Oasis online databases. After searching the articles, we performed quality assessment using Cochrane risk of bias (RoB) tools. Results: Among the 20 articles were searched, one radomized controlled clinical trial (RCT) was selected. 1 Study showed that Acupoint catgut embedding treatment has significant effect on climacteric hot flush in terms of the effectiveness rate. Conclusions: This study found encouraging but limited evidence of aupoint catgut embedding theragpy for climacteric hot flush.

  • The productivity of hydroforming process can be increased by combining pre-forming process and post-forming process such as the bending, piercing and the embedding process. Therefore in this study, integrated studies on the hydro-embedding technology have been performed by analyzing the deformed mode of the tubes and the optimal process parameters. In the case of the embedding test the characteristics of the embedded parts, such as the shape of the screw tip, screw thread and shape of thread were investigated at various process conditions. To measure the clamping force between the embedded part and the tube, special measuring device was used.

  • 본 논문에서는 Pogo Pin의 신호 전달 특성을 Ansys사의 Full wave simulation tool(HFSS)를 사용하여 분석하였고, 측정을 위해서 필요한 interface(Guide PCB)의 특성은 2-port de-embedding 방법을 이용하여 제거하였다. Guide PCB의 특성이 제거된 Pogo Pin만의 시뮬레이션 결과와 circuit simulator인 Agilent사의 ADS를 사용하여 Guide PCB의 특성을 de-embedding한 결과를 비교 검증하였고, Pogo Pin의 시뮬레이션 결과와 PCB의 특성을 de-embedding한 결과가 0~8 GHz까지 일치하는 것을 확인하였다.

  • In this paper, we introduce embedding drive synchronigation method using SC-CNN. SC-CNN provide us a good method to separate interconnected state variables of a system respectively and to make it possible to change current component to voltage component in the state variables. Using this advantage, We suggest another synchronization method called Embedding Drive Synchronization. Proposed Embedding Drive Synchronization change general drive synchronization method a little bit. we put transmitted signal between into the input of the state variables of the received part, not entirely replacing it. and we showed it proved.

  • Reversible data embedding theory has marked a new epoch for data hiding and information security. Being reversible, the original data and the embedded data as well should be completely restored. Difference expansion transform is a remarkable breakthrough in reversible data hiding scheme. The difference expansion method achieves high embedding capacity and keeps the distortion low. This paper shows that the difference expansion method with simplified location map, and new expandability and changeability can achieve more embedding capacity while keeping the distortion almost the same as the original expansion method.

  • In this paper, we consider ring embedding problem on (n,k)-star graphs. We first present a new ring embedding strategy and also prove the superiority in expandability by showing its application into the fault-tolerant ring embedding problem with edge faults. This result can be applied to the multicating applications that use the underlying cycle properties on the multi-computer system.

  • Objectives : The aim of this study was to observe the effect of needle-embedding combined with oriental medical treatment therapy on hemifacial spasm. Methods : 2 patients were treated with needle-embedding therapy with oriental medical treatment. After treatment, we evaluated the effect by Scott's scale. And we checked the satisfaction degree and side effect. Results : After treatment, the grade of spasm classified by Scott's scale was decreased and hemifacial spasm was visibly improved. Conclusions : This study showed that needle-embedding therapy with oriental medical treatment was effective to improve hemifacial spasm.

  • The auther embedded the clinically differently used direct resins to the oral submucosa of the rabbits, and compared the tissue reactions to the direct resins with that to the indirect resins. The results were as follows: 1. Direct resins showed more lympocytes infiltration than indirect resins at the early stage of the embedding, but the same degree of the appearance of lympocytes infiltration as indirect resin at the late stage of the embedding. And the formation of fibrosis around the embedding showed the irregular finidng. 2. Fibrosis of direct resin showed the tendency to be finer than indirect resin at the early stage of the embedding, but direct resin formed the similar fibers capsule to that of indirect resin at the late stage of the embedding.

A study of loading property of the bioactive materials in porous Ti implants (다공성 티타늄 임플란트의 생리활성물질 담지특성에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: Surface modification is important techniques in modern dental and orthopedic implants. This study was performed to try embedding of bioactive materials in porous Ti implants. Methods: Porous Ti implant samples were fabricated by sintering of spherical Ti powders in a high vacuum furnace. It's diameter and height were 4mm and 20mm. Embedding process was used to suction and vacuum chamber. Loading properties of porous Ti implants were evaluated by scanning electron microscope(SEM), confocal laser scanning microscope(CLSM), and UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometer. Results: Internal pore structure was formed fully open pore. Average pore size and porosity were $10.253{\mu}m$ and 17.506%. Conclusion: Porous Ti implant was fabricated successfully by sintering method. Particles are necking strongly each other and others portions were vacancy. This porous structure can be embedded to bioactive materials. Therefore bioactive materials will be able to embedding to porous Ti implants. Bioactive materials embedding in the porous Ti implant will induced new bone faster.

Histogram-based Reversible Data Hiding Based on Pixel Differences with Prediction and Sorting

  • Reversible data hiding enables the embedding of messages in a host image without any loss of host content, which is proposed for image authentication that if the watermarked image is deemed authentic, we can revert it to the exact copy of the original image before the embedding occurred. In this paper, we present an improved histogram-based reversible data hiding scheme based on prediction and sorting. A rhombus prediction is employed to explore the prediction for histogram-based embedding. Sorting the prediction has a good influence on increasing the embedding capacity. Characteristics of the pixel difference are used to achieve large hiding capacity while keeping low distortion. The proposed scheme exploits a two-stage embedding strategy to solve the problem about communicating peak points. We also present a histogram shifting technique to prevent overflow and underflow. Performance comparisons with other existing reversible data hiding schemes are provided to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed scheme.
