  • As development of industry is accelerated, most electricity load system requires power supply that could be high precision and effective control. Among supply and control unit of suitable power supply in these load characteristic, inverter systems of constant current regulate is used widely control of lighting & beaconing of aerodromes and electric heating system. Therefore, in this paper proposed a inverter systems of constant current regulate that using improved measurement and switching techniques. Proposed measure techniques that used moving average method of instantaneous r.m.s. for measuring current sensing improved response and precision. Also, in this paper proposed improved high effectiveness switching techniques that get high efficiency of inverter by the double-carrier modulation. Results of an experiment proved effect of proposed system.

  • One of the problems in using renewable energy sources is great difficulty of stable and sustainable supply. Because the fuel cell can provide stable and sustainable supply of energy sources without regard to external conditions, however, it will become one of the most useful renewable energy sources for buildings that need stable energy supply. For practical application of PEMFC system to common household, the data of household energy consumption are analyzed by electricity, cooking and heating. From the result of the data analysis, practical application methods of PEMFC system to household are designed to several models. The aim of this study is to establish a plan of practical application for applying Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell(PEMFC) system to the households.

Development of Power Management System for Efficient Energy Usage of Small Generator (소형 발전기의 에너지 절약을 위한 전력관리 시스템 개발)

  • In this paper, an electricity management system, which saves energy by utilizing electricity consumption of load from an environment that uses at least two compact generators, is proposed and developed. A hardware is constructed by using TMS320C6713 DSP chip made by TI that is capable of high speed hardware floating point processing while serial communication is used for communication with a monitoring PC. Manual control is made possible from the monitoring PC and automatic on/off is enabled in the generator by using data collected by CT/PT sensor from the DSP mainboard. Test results confirm that the electricity management system proposed in this study functions without abnormality. The application of an algorithm that saves energy by using electricity consumption of load also allows for a longer supply of electricity compared to continuously using two compact generators.

A performance experiment and estimation in electric leakage, high voltage, Arc, fire detection diagnosis system and certification KS, electricity safety about product that get fitness finding.

RPSMDSM: Residential Power Scheduling and Modelling for Demand Side Management

  • In third world countries like Pakistan, the production of electricity has been quickly reduced in past years due to rely on the fossil fuel. According to a survey conducted in 2017, the overall electrical energy capacity was 22,797MW, since the electrical grids have gone too old, therefore the efficiency of grids, goes down to nearly 17000MW. Significant addition of fossil fuel, hydro and nuclear is 64.2%, 29% and 5.8% respectively in the total electricity production in Pakistan. In 2018, the demand crossed 20,223MW, compared to peak generation of 15,400 to 15,700MW as by the Ministry of Water and Power. Country faces a deficit of almost 4000MW to 5000MW for the duration of 2019 hot summer term. Focus on one aspect considering Demand Side Management (DSM) cannot oversea the reduction of gap between power demand and customer supply, which eventually leads to the issue of load shedding. Hence, a scheduling scheme is proposed in this paper called RPSMDSM that is based on selection of those appliances that need to be only Turned-On, on priority during peak hours consuming minimum energy. The Home Energy Management (HEM) system is integrated between consumer and utility and bidirectional flow is presented in the scheme. During peak hours of electricity, the RPSMDSM is capable to persuade less power consumption and accomplish productivity in load management. Simulations show that RPSMDSM scheme helps in scheduling the electricity loads from peak price to off-peak price hours. As a result, minimization in electricity cost as well as (Peak-to-Average Ratio) PAR are accomplished with sensible waiting time.

  • The Japanese government has carried out the power industry reform in three phases to supply power stably, control the rise of electricity tariff, and expand consumer choices. The reform of the Japanese electric power industry fosters new kinds of businesses as well as changes the competitive structure in which the enterprises participating electricity business compete. However, for the power industry restructuring to be done smoothly, the accompanying tasks should be carried out. Korea has also been devoting a lot of efforts to cultivate various types of new industries based on the convergence of energy and information and communications technology. If there are the same kinds of new industries between the two countries, the progresses of the industries can be compared to each other over a period of time.

  • The electricity demand and supply could be off balance if several electric vehicles(EVs) were charged at the same time or at peak load times. Therefore, smart grids are necessary to flatten the EVs' electricity demand and to enable EVs to be used as distributed storage devices as electricity demand from EV-charging increases. There are still few quantitative studies on the impact of smart grids on managing EVs' electrical loads. In this study, we analyzed the quantitative impact of smart grids on managing EVs' electrical loads and suggested policy implications. As a result, it is identified that smart grids can manage effectively EVs' impact on electrical grids. The electricity market structure and regulatory framework should support the demonstration and commercialization of smart grid technologies.

  • With the concern of the potential problems which can be observed in terms of the power supply of renewable energies, we need to analyze the impact of additional power generation capacities of renewable energy sources on peak load. Each renewable energy sources are dependent upon wind speed, solar radiation, head differences caused by lunar calendar. Considering that these exogenous renewable energy sources follow their own stochastic distributions, we analyze the probability distribution of the impact of each renewable energy power supply on peak load. As a conclusion, we note that traditional tools used for the analysis of power supply such as capacity factors are no longer appropriate for the analysis of renewable energy sources in that perspective.

  • Information sharing is key to effective supply chain management. In reality, however, it is impossible to get perfect information. Accordingly, only uncertain information can be accessed in business environment, and thus it is important to deal with the uncertainties of information in managing supply chains. This study adopts meteorological forecast as a typical uncertain information. The meteorological events may affect the demands for various weather-sensitive goods, such as beer, ices, clothes, electricity etc. In this study, a beer distribution game is modified by introducing meterological forecast information provided in a probabilistic format. The behavior patterns of the modified beer supply chains are investigated. for two conditions using the weather forecast with or without an information sharing. A value score is introduced to generalize the well-known performance measures employed in the study of supply chains, i.e.. inventory, backlog, and deviation of orders. The simulation result showed that meterological forecast information used in an information sharing environment was more effective than without information sharing, which emphasizes the synergy of uncertain information added to the information sharing environment.
