The purpose of this study is to investigate the priority order in the factors influencing college choice of students who are majoring in culinary art in Chungcheong-do. For the study, we set the decision-making factors of upper hierarchies and nineteen bottom hierarchies based on the literature review and employed the analytical hierarchical process(AHP). As a result, the first considering factor among 4 upper hierarchies for college choice was the educational environments of the department(0.378). The next came in the order named as follows: college and university grade(0.263), the educational environments of colleges or universities(0.244), recommendation(0.115). The first considering factor among the educational environments of the department was the aptitude for the major(0.323). The first considering factor in college and university grade was the entrance competitive rate(0.397). The first considering factors among the educational environments of the colleges or universities were scholarships and tuition fees(0.325). The first considering factor in recommendation was the recommendation of a high school teacher(0.295). This results of this study will contribute to the development of colleges and universities under the turbulent changes of educational environments.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the curriculum, educational facilities and employment guidance of the departments dental hygiene in junior colleges in different regions and the satisfaction level of students with their major in an effort to provide some information on the improvement of educational environments and satisfaction level with the major. Methods : The subjects in this study were 315 dental hygiene students in several junior colleges located in Seoul, Gangwon Province and South Jeolla Province. A survey was conducted during a 15-day period from April 15 to March 1, 2010. Results : As for educational environments and satisfaction level with the major, they gave 3.18, 2.95 and 3.11 respectively to satisfaction level with curriculum, facilities/employment guidance and the major. In terms of satisfaction with educational environments by academic year, the juniors and seniors expressed much satisfaction with the qualifications of professors, the preparation of labs and practice devices, the utilization of labs and practice devices and a supply of employment information. By region, the students from the metropolitan area were satisfied a lot with curriculum, the qualifications of professors, practice-centered curriculum, the preparation of labs and practice devices, the utilization of labs and practice devices, the system of employment guidance and a supply of employment information. By credit, the students tho got A expressed lots of satisfaction with the quality of instruction. Concerning satisfaction level with their major by academic year, the juniors and seniors were highly satisfied with relationship with dental hygiene professors and social status of dental hygienists. By school location, the students from the metropolitan area expressed a lot of satisfaction with the content of major courses and social status of dental hygienists. Conclusions : In order to boost the satisfaction level of students in non-metropolitan areas, colleges should try to improve educational environments, and full-fledged assistance should be provided to them.

Objectives: Depression and anxiety are emotional difficulties that are common among adolescents. Adolescents suffering from depression and anxiety can exhibit problems such as antisocial behavior, aggression, and academic slump. This study aimed to explore the factors influencing adolescents' depression and anxiety during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Methods: This study examined the data from an online student health survey conducted by the Ministry of Education in 2022. The survey participants were 131194 students ranging from the first grade of middle school to the third grade of high school. The influence of each variable on depression and anxiety was examined. Results: Factors that predicted depression and anxiety were sex (female), grade level (higher), financial difficulties (existing or unknown), physical activity (higher), sleep time (shorter), media usage time (higher), family/friends relationship (worse), and change in the health status of family, friends, and oneself due to COVID-19 (worse). Conclusion: These results may help identify patterns of depression and anxiety among adolescents caused by COVID-19 and maximize the intervention effect.

Electronic educational environments in the conditions of quarantine restrictions of COVID-19 have become a common phenomenon for the organization of distance educational activities. Under the conditions of Russian aggression, Ukrainian proof of their use is unique. The purpose of the article is to analyze the role of electronic educational environments in the process of training applicants for higher education in Ukraine in the realities of a large-scale war. General scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, deduction, and induction) and special pedagogical prognostic methods, modeling, and SWOT analysis methods were used. In the results, the general properties of the Internet educational platforms common in Ukraine, the peculiarities of using the Moodle and Prometheus platforms, and an approximate model of the electronic learning environment were discussed. The reasons for the popularity of Moodle among Ukrainian universities are analyzed, but vulnerable elements related to security are emphasized. It was also determined that the high cost of Prometheus software and less functionality made this learning environment less relevant. The conclusions state that the military actions drew the attention of universities in Ukraine to the formation of their own educational platforms. This is especially relevant for technical and military institutions of higher education.

본 논문은 R-learning의 연장선에서 교육 환경 내의 소셜 로봇 도입과 함께 소셜 로봇의 역할에 대해 제안한다. 소셜 로봇은 개체 특히, 인간과의 소통과 상호작용을 목적으로 하는 로봇이다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 교육 환경에서 활용되었던 로봇의 역할은 물론, 소셜 로봇의 목적에 걸맞게 교육 환경 구성원과의 상호작용과 소통을 수행하는 역할을 제안한다. 이에 대한 설명을 돕기 위해 소셜 로봇 jibo의 SDK를 활용하여 간략한 가상 시나리오를 구현하여 예시로 보인다. 시나리오는 교육적 환경에서 이용자와의 가벼운 상호작용을 목적으로 제작되었으며, jibo SDK에서 jibo의 외적 반응을 제어하는 animation 파트와 내적인 반응을 제어하는 behaviors 파트를 활용하여 제작되었다. 교육 환경 내의 투입된 소셜 로봇은 구성원과의 상호작용 및 소통과 접목된 여러 기술들을 기반으로 환경 내의 데이터를 보다 효율적으로 수집한다. 결과적으로 이를 통해 교육 환경에 대한 데이터와 정보를 제공받아 교육환경 내의 문제점의 도출, 환경 자체의 발전 및 새로운 교육 환경의 설립에 긍정적 영향을 끼칠 수 있다.

This study attempts to review the present situations of rural schools in South Korea, to analyze problems regarding the educational environments for their students, and to present direction for improving toward better educational environments. All the data and information are based on using avaiable documents and personal macro observation and insights. The sharp decrease of rural population for recent decades has made lots of public schools unexceptionall much smaller by school number and students' number. Nearly five thousands of rural small schools have already been abolished and the rest are also endangered to be dosed. In order to tackIe such problem, the Government has been trying to provide rural students with better educational environment, but failed to attract them to stay in rural schools. Most of rural school students have poorer family environment, underprivilged school learning environment, and less civilized community environment. Those normal parents living in rural areas are likely to send their kids to urban schools for prior opportunities to enter better quality of higher level of schools and then the remained attending rural schools are those who live with grand parents or whose parents are very disadvantaged. The rural school teachers are teaching much less number of students compared to urban teachers, but their students are less achieved learners. Notwithstanding their abudant natural community learning environments, the rural school students are less making use of those resources and less benefited from more civilized life due to their underdeveloped community conditions. In order to improve such educational environments, incentives for young couples to safely reside in rural communities, incentives for better qualified teachers to preferably work for rural schools, better learning facilities for rural school students and for better vocational experiences, lifelong learning opportunities for all community people, and increased public support to rural development for rural people not to worry about their rural lives, need to be guarantyed.

This study aimed to examine the operations of school food services to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in schools nationwide. The survey data on school food service operations targeting nutrition teachers and nutritionists at 1,023 schools in 2020 and 1,177 schools in 2021 were used. The year 2021 saw an increase compared to 2020 in the following: 'average days to be served with meals for a year (144.5 vs. 184.7)', 'provided meals to all students (92.3% vs. 96.6%)', 'utilization of additional staff for foodservice assistance (33.4% vs. 38.8%)', 'installation of partitions (61.2% vs. 83.8%)', 'provision of general diet (96.1% vs. 99.1%)', and 'use of kitchen utensils (91.3% vs. 95.1%)', 'use of cafeteria water cup (9.9% vs. 31.0%)' and 'use of drinking water in school (46.8% vs. 52.1%)'. Compared to 2020, in 2021, it was confirmed that the school food service operations stabilized due to the increase in the normal school attendance rate and that systems were in place for operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the future, it will be necessary to develop manuals and special recipes necessary for responding to infectious diseases, and to operate a manpower pool that can quickly find replacement personnel if required.

최근 들어 웹툰(Webtoon)은 인터넷 세대에게 선풍적인 인기몰이를 하고 있다. 실제 웹툰을 게임, 영화, 드라마 등으로 제작하여 세계적으로 인정을 받으며, 한류문화의 대표적 콘텐츠로 떠오르는 추세다. 이에 따라 사회각계에서 웹툰에 대한 관심이 집중되고 있다. 이러한 시대적 조류에 맞추어 본 연구는 엔터테인먼트로서 웹툰의 다른 이면인 교육적 활용가능성에 대해 탐구하고자 한다. 웹툰은 교육환경에서 매우 유용한 교육적 요소가 있다. 먼저 인터넷 세대인 학습자에게 매우 인기 있는 콘텐츠이며, 텍스트 위주의 수업환경에서 학습자에게 몰입감과 재미를 줄 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 웹툰이 지닌 서사성 및 맥락성은 교과와 연계하여 풍부한 자료를 제공할 수 있겠다. 본 연구는 웹툰의 교육적 활용가능성을 탐구하기 위하여 이론적, 실천적 방법으로 접근하고자 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 웹툰의 '교육적 활용요소'에 대한 이론적 근거를 탐색할 것이며, 예비교사들 즉, 인터넷 세대라 할 수 있는 예비교사 108명에게서 웹툰의 '교육적 활용가치'에 대한 의견을 수렴하고자 한다. 이후 예비교사들이 실제 웹툰 기반 수업설계를 시도하여 실천적으로 그 가능성을 탐색하였다. 본 연구를 통해 웹툰의 교육적 활용가능성에 대한 긍정적인 전망을 가늠해보고자 한다.

This study investigated the effect of young children's interaction with a teacher and computer environments on their development of representational competence cf replay, the children's ability to construct and reconstruct actions. A pretest-posttest design with one experimental group and one control group was used; quantitative analyses, including interview assessments and coded observations of children's work in the context of educational interventions were supplemented by qualitative analyses of this work. Thirty-nine children (2-5 years of age) were randomly assigned to either an experimental or control group. The educational intervention provided to the experimental group involved a sequence of twenty sessions incorporating a series of three computer environments. A teaching strategy, based on Vygotsky's Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) and Sigel's distancing theory, was used to mediate children's interaction with these computer environments. Results indicated that children's representational competence kept developing and reached a higher stage and the educational intervention fostered the development of representational competence, with strong evidence of near transfer but no evidence of far transfer. These results suggest that representational competence is a teachable concept and that a complex mediating structure allows children to reconstruct their previous experiences and apply them to problem situations.

In order to serve effective teaching and teaming environments with an appropriate harmony of hard technologies and soft technologies and to contribute to multimedia contents design and development this study shows that the theoretical backgrounds, producing backgrounds, contents scenario, and related research as well as their use and integration into realistic classroom. In our environments, it is believed that it is possible for us to develop effective mathematics educational multimedia development fitting to our culture and emotion. Thus it is urged that the government should support the professional multimedia development ＆ production association enthusiastically.
