Strategic management of changes is very significant for all types of construction projects. Project management teams must have the ability to respond to changes effectively in order to minimize their adverse impact on the project. The study focuses on the causes, their frequent effects and effective controls for changes in educational building projects. To achieve the study objectives, a questionnaire survey was carried out to collect relevant information. Through the literature review, 53 causes, 16 effects and 30 potential controls for change orders were identified. These provided the basis for the formulation of the questionnaire. Responses from 92 professionals who were involved in the educational projects in Singapore were analyzed. They included 28 developers, 33 consultants and 31 contractors. From the survey findings, the most important causes of changes were identified. The study revealed the most frequent effects and most effective controls for each cause of change order. Arising therefrom, a comprehensive tabulation of the 53 causes and their frequent effects and effective controls was also developed. A timeline for implementing the controls was developed through in-depth interviews with the professionals. The study would assist building professionals in taking proactive measures for reducing change orders for educational buildings; furthermore, the timeline would also be helpful for them to implement controlling strategies at the appropriate time. Recommendations were suggested based on the research findings.

Discourse is regarded as an important component of communication assessment, but studies about the discourse characteristics of the elderly are scant. The purpose of this study was to confirm the effects of aging, gender, and educational level on discourse in elderly people with normal cognitive function. Forty normal elderly and forty young people participated in this study. A picture description task (Boston Cookie-Theft picture) was used to examine discourse function. The description task was analyzed for both productivity (total number of sentences, total number of syllables, and syllables per sentence) and semantics (CIU ratio). The results were as follows: 1) Only CIU ratio differed significantly according to age. 2) In the total number of syllables and syllables per sentence, females demonstrate a higher number than males. 3) The CIU ratio differed significantly according to educational level. These results suggest that impairment of communicative function is an aspect of cognitive impairment that can be related to aging. Also, discourse performance in the elderly is associated with their gender and educational level.

본 연구는 교육서비스 관련 상품 판매 요인이 교육서비스 만족에 미치는 영향을 파악하고, 이러한 만족이 재등록과 구전효과에 미치는 영향에 관하여 분석하였다. 입시학원에 수강 중인 학생들과 학부모들을 대상으로 실증분석 한 결과 교육서비스 관련 상품판매요인인 교육프로그램과 강사요인에 관한 가설들은 지지되었다. 그러나 물리적환경과 수강료가 교육서비스 만족에 미치는 영향에 대한 가설은 기각되었다. 또한 교육서비스 만족은 재등록과 구전효과에 미치는 영향에 관한 가설은 지지되었다. 이상의 연구결과를 종합해볼 때 교육서비스 만족에 미치는 영향에 있어 교육프로그램과 강사요인이 중요한 역할을 하며 물리적 환경과 수강료는 교육서비스 만족에 있어 중요한 요인이 아니다라는 결론이 도출되었다. 또한 교육서비스 만족은 재등록과 긍정적인 구전형성에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 결론이 도출되었다.

Purpose: This study was conducted to develop a mobile web-based pregnancy health care educational program for mothers who were at an advanced maternal age (AMA) and to verify the effects of the program on pregnancy health care. Methods: This program was developed using a web-based teaching-learning system design model and composed of 10 subject areas. This research was a quasi-experimental study using a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest time serial design and data were collected from April 2 to May 3, 2014. To verify the effects of the program, it was used for 2 weeks with 30 AMA mothers (experimental group). For the control group, a classroom education booklet for pregnant women used with 31 AMA mothers. Results: The experimental group having participated in program had statistically significantly higher scores for knowledge (t=3.76, p <.001), self-efficacy (t=8.54, p <.001), and practice behavior (t=4.88, p <.001) of pregnancy health care, compared to the control group. Conclusion: The results of the program indicate that a Mobile web-based pregnancy health care educational program is effective in meeting the needs of AMA mothers and can be used as the prenatal educational program for AMA mothers and is appropriate as an educational media for theses mothers.

Purpose : The purpose of this research was to verify the effects of the clinical practice and the educational satisfaction through internship program on students of health-related majors. Methods : We investigated 120 students using a self-reporting method with experience of internship program. A statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 17.0 for window version. Results : It showed that educational satisfaction had scored 4.18 in curriculum, 4.16 in environment, 4.16 in schedule, 4.32 in teaching and 3.82 in evaluation, 4.21 in satisfaction for clinical practice. Conclusion : It was revealed by this survey that the educational satisfaction of internship program in school hospital had higher score in curriculum, environment, schedule, evaluation, teaching and clinical practice. To maximize the effects of internship program, a clinical internship program in school hospital is needed and further research and attention are suggested.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of authentic parental competence and awareness of early childhood educational community on the life satisfaction of mothers with preschoolers depending on mothers' employment status. Methods: A total of 238 mothers (98 employed, 130 unemployed) whose children were attending early childhood institutes participated in a survey measuring three variables. Results and Conclusion: The findings of the study were as follows: First, there were positive correlations between authentic parental competence, awareness of early childhood educational community, and life satisfaction, regardless of employment status. Second, comparing employed mothers with unemployed mothers, a common variable affecting life satisfaction was social competence, a sub-variable of authentic parental competence. Further, self-system competence, a sub-factor of authentic parental competence, influenced life satisfaction for employed mothers, and sharing core values, a sub-variable of awareness of the early childhood educational community, influenced life satisfaction for unemployed mothers.

Educational institutions play a critical role in national development through the advancement of skilled human resources and intellectual society. The number of higher educational institutions (HEIs) is increasing significantly in Bangladesh. Students have a number of options from which to select their preferred educational institutions. Hence, HEIs should think about the quality of services they provide to students. The objective of this study is to measure students' satisfaction and university reputation through service quality (SQ) in a private higher educational institution (PriHEI) in Bangladesh. Primary data was collected from 270 students of International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC), Bangladesh, through a simple random sampling technique. In this study, data was analyzed through descriptive statistics, correlation, measurement model using confirmatory factor analyses, and structural equation modeling (SEM). The results showed that transport services have indirect but medical and physical facilities have both direct and indirect significant effects on overall students' satisfaction. Further, the administrative services and research facilities have significant indirect effects on overall students' satisfaction. Finally, the results of structural equation modeling (SEM) confirm that the reputation of the university is directly associated with overall students' satisfaction.

본 연구는 조리교육학원에서 제공하는 교육서비스와 교육환경의 품질이 교육소비자의 행동의도에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 특화된 조리분야에서 기능인력을 창출하기 위한 교육을 제공하는 교육기관의 교육서비스와 교육환경을 세부적으로 해석하여 효과적인 자료를 도출해내고자 한다. 첫째, 조리교육학원의 교육서비스 즉 교육컨텐츠, 강사서비스, 교육품질이 학원 재수강에 긍정적 영향을 미칠 것인지에 대해 현재 다니고 있는 학원의 인지도가 높거나 학원 등록 후 지속적인 관리가 잘 될수록 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 교육과 교재의 커리큘럼이 중요하게 작용하고 있었다. 강사의 서비스품질, 즉 친절도와 학생들과의 커뮤니케이션 능력 등 교육방식이 좋을수록 타인에게 긍정적인 추천의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 조리학원의 환경 즉, 교육시설과 교육환경이 재수강과 긍정적 구전의도에 미치는 영향에서 교육환경의 모든 요인들이 교육소비자에게 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 셋째, 교육서비스와 교육환경의 긍정적 요인들은 재수강과 구전의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고, 교육서비스 중 강사의 수준과 교육컨텐츠가 행동의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으며, 교육환경 중 교육시설보다는 환경이 행동의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 조리교육학원에서 제공된 교육서비스와 교육환경의 품질은 각각 차별화 된 전략을 통해 교육시장의 소비자에게 긍정적 행동의도를 미칠 수 있도록 마케팅 전략 및 경영전략 수립이 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

This study aims to develop an educational program in using credit card for undergraduate students. In order to achieve this aim, a processor has been followed. first of all, a fundamental work to select the educational contents was Preceded with a survey of learners' needs, case studies of counselling at Consumer Protection Board, and preceding studies. After choice of educational contents, learners' demands on how to manage the educational program was executed in advance. Second, reflecting the above mentioned educational contents, a concrete educational program was built. Based on the constructed plans, both preliminary training and main training were proceeded. Third, to evaluate the effects of the educational program, the knowledge difference, behaviors and attitude changes were all diagnosed. The result suggested that the educational effect was significant in all evaluations section. At last, final program of using credit cards was completed.

The main purpose of this study is to analyze the differences of accompanying with environment interpreter in the ecological parks, and providing fundamental knowlege on the effective management method of the ecological parks by reviewing the effects of accompanying environmental parks in the ecological parks. We had done a field experimental design in the Gil-Dong ecological park, and evaluated the differences in the education effects, used types and satisfaction by the educational types - one is control groups, i.e., accompanying without environment interpreter and the other is treatment groups, ie., accompanying with environment interpreter through questionnaire survey and observation survey. The results of study are as follows; 1) In the respect of the effect of knowledge conveyance of the environmental interpreter, there appears higher educational effects of environment and ecology to the visitors of Gil-dong ecological park with an environment interpreter. 2) Accompanying with environment interpreter made the visitors reduce the depreciative behavior but no difference at environmental attitude and satisfaction. This results provide us the effectiveness of the environment interpreters. And more theoretical study is required in the future research.
