학교도서관의 마케팅 전략 (The Adoption of Marketing Strategies for School Libraries)

  • Recently, the Ministry of Education is striving to move education and school libraries toward the information age and to create an atmosphere open education. School libraries need to be furnished with lots of useful materials for the curriculum of open education. School libraries need to be furnished with lots of useful materials for the curriculum of open education. Therefore, school libraries should adopt the concepts and techniques of marketing. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. 1. Nonprofit organizations such as school libraries should adopt the concepts and techniques of marketing to solve the problems for the rational management of the system. 2. Marketing techniques can be adopted in the areas such as collection development, service fee, selection of the place of library, advertising, better library user organization etc. 3. School libraries should be total educational information centers to realize educational goal and the curricular. 4. Procedures for marketing strategies for school libraries are embodied in mission statement, environmental analysis, marketing audit, marketing mix, marketing segmentation, evaluation methods etc. 5. The 4 "Ps", product, price, place, promotion make up the marketing mix for school libraries.libraries.

  • Presently, media for sanitation education consisting of a sanitation manual and a CD-ROM intended for restaurant employers and employees was developed and evaluated. The sanitation manual consisted of five principles: prevention of foodborne illness, personal hygiene, control of food production, instrument and equipment cleaning and sanitation, and management of environmental sanitation. The CD-ROM was composed of animations detailed real-life examples of Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus, and Norovirus foodborned illness outbreaks; slides summarizing the five principles of the manual; and a poster entitled You can prevent foodborne illness listing and describing the principles. A 15 question evaluation survey was developed to gauge the efficacy of the animations. The survey was divided into five sections on comprehension of the instructions, content organization concerning understanding, content organization concerning the information presented, content organization concerning retention of interest (concentration), and recommendations concerning concentration. Ranked on a 5-point scale the survey produced a mean value of 3.80$\pm$0.39 and individual scores of 3.92$\pm$0.45 (learning instruction), 3.86$\pm$0.48 (understanding), 3.82$\pm$0.52 (information), 3.75$\pm$0.49 (concentration), and 3.67$\pm$0.58 (concentration-recommendation). Overall, evaluation results of the animation were good and easy to understand, with only a few respondents electing to watch the animations more than once. In terms of continuous and recurring education, sanitation training programs should be easy to learn and contain sufficient and specific examples of the importance of sanitation in achieving food safety.

정보보안 관련 스트레스와 개인조직 적합성이 정보보안 지식공유행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Information Security Related Stress and Person-Organization Fit on Knowledge Sharing Behavior)

  • 최근 조직들은 조직원에게 엄격한 정보보안 수준을 요구하고 있다. 엄격한 정보보안 정책 및 기술은 정보보안 관련 스트레스를 유발할 수 있다. 연구 목적은 지식공유행동 및 개인조직 적합성을 감소시키는 정보보안 기술 및 업무스트레스의 부정적 영향을 제시하는 것이다. 연구 대상은 정보보안 정책을 보유한 조직에서 근무하는 조직원이며, 연구가설은 309개의 표본을 활용하여 구조방정식모델링으로 검증한다. 연구 결과, 개인조직적합성이 지식공유행동에 긍정적 영향을 주었으나, 업무스트레스가 부정적 영향을 주었다. 또한, 기술스트레스가 개인조직 적합성에 부정적 영향을 미쳤다. 추가적으로, 업무모호성이 개인조직 적합성과 지식공유행동사이에 조절효과를 가졌다. 연구 시사점은 조직원의 정보보안 기술 및 업무 스트레스의 부정적 영향을 확인하였으며, 내부자의 부정적 행동 최소화를 위한 방향을 제시한다.

미국과 영국 정보전문직 교육 현황의 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on the Present Education for Information Professionals in the U.S.A. and the U.K.)

  • 대학의 교육과 전문직 단체의 시험이라는 상이한 제도로 출발한 미국과 영국의 석사과정 정보전문직 교육의 현황을 비교하는 것이다. 비교의 대상은 교육과 관련된 전문직 단체의 역할, 교육 기관과 학위의 명칭, 교과과정, 그리고 최근의 경향이다. 연구는 문헌조사 방법과 전문직 단체와 교육기관 홈페이지의 내용 분석으로 수행되었다. 연구의 결과로 나타난 상이함과 유사함에 대한 설명과 이것을 근거로 우리의 사서직 교육에 대한 제안을 하였다.

학생 포트폴리오 경진대회 심사를 위한 평가준거 개발 사례연구 (Case Study of Developing Evaluation Criteria for Students' Portfolios)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an evaluation criteria for students' portfolios in an annual intramural contest. To accomplish the purpose, evaluation categories and their questions were developed after previous literature, ABEEK's evaluation guidelines, and eight Universities' evaluation forms were analyzed. Furthermore, experts' validity tests were completed by showing that the evaluation criteria form was validated with a mean score of 4.24. Also, the inter-rater reliability was turned out with a high score of .86. The interview results by evaluators of students' portfolios made the final version of evaluation criteria form include five evaluation criteria categories and their allotted score portions: overall organization(40), personal information(15), certificates and awards(5), curriculum(15), and extra-curriculum(15). The importance of overall organization was discussed from the perspectives of teachers as well as students.

  • Under competitive situation , many small manufacturing companies know that building effective information systems is the best way to get a competition. Therefore . lots of these companies are getting under way of building information systems. But they are having trouble building information systems because of many diffifcult factors like money technologies, education. Comparing to large firms , small manufacturing compaines are short of money and technology to get informatin systems. Considering of the difficulties of small manufacturing companies, organization supporting these companies will be able to play an important role to suggest the guideline to success of getting information systems. Many supporting organizations have instituted a scheme in which they can get valuable information relating to building information systems. This paper is focusing on the role of supporting organizations for information systems of small manufacturing companies. This study finds out what the difficulties of these companies trying to build information systems are and suggests the supporting ways of getting effective information systems.

  • 우리나라 중등교육에서 크게 대두되는 사교육비 증가, 교육의 질 저하, 교실붕괴와 같은 문제를 보도한 신문기사와 이에 대해 연구한 논문들을 검토, 종합한 결과 문제는 평준화자체라기보다 평준화로 달라진 교육상황에 합당하게 교육방법을 바꾸지 않는데서 결과한 표면의 현상으로 분석되었다. 평준화로 인해 두드러지게 달라진 상황이란 평준화 이전에 비하여 학력수준이 천차만별인 학생들을 한 교실에서 가르치게 된 점이다. 본 연구는 수업방법을 정보처리학습모형과 같이 학생을 개별로 대응하도록 짜여졌으면서 사고력 창의성 함양에 도움이 되는 학습모형을 사용하여 집단적 강의식 교육방법을 탈피할 것을 촉구하고, 6 단계정보처리 학습모형에서 우리나라 학생들에게 어려움이 많은 정보조직 즉 종합(Synthesis)의 단계를 원리와 방법의 제시로 설파하여 교과담당교사나 사서교사들이 수업에서 참고하도록 하였다.

학교도서관의 발전 경향에 관한 연구 (A study on the development trends of school libraries in western world)

  • The purpose of this study is to survey the development trends of school libraries in the western world namely U. S. A., Canada by analyzing such items as education and environment, staff, policy, standard and professional organization, and to find out how and why they were able to maintain efficient library services. The major findings are summarized as follows : (1) There are school district supervisor whose functions are to direct and supervise the school libraries in the district. (2) The school district supervisor, school administrator, Teacher and Teacher librarian all recognize the importance of its educational role and cooperate together for the development. (3) They gether statistical data on school library for continuous revision of statement, guideline and standard. (4) Not only the educational organization and the library organization but also the private foundation conduct systematic research and extend financial aid for the development of school library. (5) The Compulsory Codes and pertinent laws have been enacted to promote school library development.
