PRECEDE 모형을 이용한 일부 초등학교 안전교육의 진단적 연구 (A Diagnostic Study of safety education in elementary schools based on PRECEDE Model)

  • As the complexity of the our environment is further complicated by advancements in industry and increase in vehicle traffic flow, the incidents of injury causing accidents are on the rise. Consequently, there is increasing emphasis on the importance of systematic and continual safety education for injury preventive behaviors. This study investigates safety related problems of elementary school students based on the PRECEDE model, proposed by Green et al.(1980 Green), to comprehensively identify the requirements of school safety education. The identified requirements were used to diagnose the current state of elementary school safety education through the analysis of multidimensional factors. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 594 sixth grade students from randomly selected 4 schools in Seoul to examine their injury preventive behaviors and to determine the educational diagnosis variables that affect it. The duration of the survey was 3 weeks starting from April 12, 1999 to May 8, 1999. A summary of the survey results are presented below; 1. Situations in which accidents have occurred were, in their order of frequency, ‘during play or sports activities within the school grounds’ was most frequent at 59.6%, ‘during play on local streets’ at 49.5%, and ‘traffic accidents’ at 41.6%. 2. Categorization of the injury preventive behavior showed that ‘not playing at high traffic flow locations such as streets and construction sites’ had the higher level of observance, while ‘wearing of helmets and joint protection devices during playing’ was least observed. 3. Considering injury preventive behaviors in relation to educational diagnosis variables indicated, for predisposing factors, lower ‘perception to injury accidents’ (p〈0.001) combined with higher ‘concerns for injury accidents’(p〈0.001), ‘practice of preventive behavior’(p〈0.001), and ‘the level of safety knowledge’(p〈0.001) resulted in significantly higher observance of injury preventive behaviors. For enabling factors, higher ‘perceived level of the school safety education’ (p〈0.001) and ‘availability of safety education resources’(p〈0.01) indicated significantly higher observance of injury preventive behaviors. For the reinforcing factor, frequent exposure to ‘safety education brochure’ (p〈0.01) and ‘audio-visual material for safety education’(p〈0.01) combined with more ‘regional safety education’ (p〈0.01), ‘home safety education’ (p〈0.01), ‘school safety education’(p〈0.001), and, ‘parents’ observance of preventive behaviors' (p〈0.001) showed significantly higher observance of injury preventive behaviors. 4. An analysis of the factors that affect injury preventive behaviors showed that the enabling factor ‘awareness of school safety education’ had the highest correlation with injury preventive behaviors followed by factors, in their order of significance, ‘practice of preventive behavior’, ‘perception to injury accidents’, ‘level of safety knowledge’, ‘parents’ observances of preventive behaviors', and ‘concerns for injury accidents.’

  • In addition to improving economic growth and development of advanced production technology brings many benefits to our society, but if the growth of this still has the shadow of accidents exists. In particular, the construction site has seen a significantly higher accident rate figures despite efforts on disaster prevention. Among the various methods of reducing the need for disaster safety education industry it has become very stressed its importance through many studies. When a disaster causes significant share of the construction industry due to the lack of educational causes, including technical causes, managerial causes, classification and educational causes of this ateumyeo safety awareness and knowledge account for large proportion. In the health and safety education, centered on the subjects of education supervisors will be able to reduce the real and effective industrial disaster education should be run.

산업안전보건교육의 발전과 전망 (Development and Prospect of Occupational Safety and Health Education)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the past and present status of occupational safety and health education in Korea and to explore future plans for these fields. Methods: We summarized past empirical or theoretical literature. Results: Occupational safety and health education strive to protect workers' health and create healthy workplaces by solving various problems such as workers' occupational diseases and mental health in the rapidly changing occupational environment. For occupational safety and health education to be effectively utilized in occupational sites, a live education that can be applied to the field should be provided. The need for education to explore and develop the ability to prepare for new hazards, including infectious diseases such as COVID-19, has increased. Conclusion: It is believed that the occupational health education element of the new era will be occupational health education. This focus will develop the ability to closely assess and predict the collective, organizational, and personal responses of affected workplaces and the impact of occupational health sciences.

중고등학교 학생들의 안전의식과 안전교육에 대한 기초연구 (Pilot Study of Safety Education and Safety Awareness in Middle and High School Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to figure out current situation of safety education to improve safety awareness and practice in Korean school students. In order to do this, it is necessary to identify the current level of safety awareness and practice with the actual status of accident occurrence. Furthermore it is try to figure out the most influencing factors on the safety education for Korean middle and high school students. The 412 students were taken from a random sample. The samples were one class of 2nd grade students in five different middle schools and four different high schools in Seoul, Korea. The survey was conducted from 29 September 2010 through 15 October 2010. An additional samples for the questionnaires posted in web were collected. The 305 respondents from school students and 80 respondents from web survey were used to analyze for this study out of 800 respondents. SPSS was used to analyze the questionnaires. The overall safety-awareness score was relatively high at 4.56/5 for fire safety and 4.32/5 for traffic safety. Safety awareness was higher for girls than boys and also for high school students than middle school students. Safety education by parents at home gives a good impact on high safety practices. Safety awareness was improved by feeling of necessity for safety training. The safety prevention training provided during the class by teacher and home training by parents improved safety practice. The correct direction of safety education for younger students can be easier in future.

학생 안전체험교육시설 구축을 위한 체험형 안전교육프로그램 도출 기초연구 - 「학교 안전교육 7대 표준안」을 중심으로 - (The basic study on extracting experiential type safety education programs for establishing safety-experience-education-facilities - focused on 「school safety education 7 standards」 -)

  • 본 연구는 2015년 교육부에서 발표한 "학교 안전교육 7대 표준안"을 기준으로 학생 안전체험교육시설 구축을 위한 체험형 안전교육프로그램 도출을 목적으로 진행되었다. 이를 위해 안전체험교육시설의 개념을 조작적으로 정의하였고, "학교 안전교육 7대 표준안"의 총 758차시에 대한 구성 체계 및 학습내용을 분석하여 7대 안전 분야별 전문가를 대상으로 2차에 걸쳐 전문가조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 1차 전문가 조사를 통해서는 총 758차시의 교육내용 중 체험형 안전교육프로그램을 총 150차시로 선정되었고, 선정된 프로그램의 타당성 검증을 위해 2차 전문가 조사를 델파이 기법을 통해 진행한 결과 총 5차시의 프로그램이 삭제되어 최종 145차로 결정되었다. 분야별 구체적인 프로그램 차시는 생활안전 분야 21차시, 교통안전 분야 22차시, 폭력 신변안전 분야 18차시, 약물 사이버중독 분야 5차시, 재난안전 분야 36차시, 직업안전 분야 10차시, 응급처치 분야 33차시로 선정되었다.

건설근로자의 개인적 특성에 맞는 안전교육 모델 (A Model for Safety Education Fit for Individual Personality of Construction Worker)

  • 안전지식 함양, 안전기능 체득, 안전태도 향상을 목표로 하는 안전교육은 별다른 제한 없이 효율적으로 사용될 수 있는 중요한 안전대책일 뿐만 아니라 재해를 감소시키기 위한 수단 중에 제일 큰 우선도를 갖는다. 그러나 건설현장에서의 안전교육은 매우 형식에 치우쳐 교육을 위한 교육일 뿐이며 근로자들에게 안전교육 시간은 지루하고 따분한 시간일 뿐이다. 이러한 이유는 자기와 상관없는 교육내용과 개인적 특성을 무시한 일괄교육에서 기인하며 이는 더 이상 근로자의 자발적 참여를 유도하지 못한다. 따라서 건설근로자들의 개인적 특성에 맞는 다양한 안전교육 모델 개발이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 건설근로자의 개인적 특성에 맞는 안전교육 모델을 구축하기 위해 건설현장에서 종사하는 근로자를 대상으로 설문조사와 통계분석을 실시하여 개인적 특성에 맞는 안전교육 모델을 제시하였다.

빅데이터를 통해 바라본 이주배경청소년 재난안전교육에 대한 사회적 인식 (Social Perception of Disaster Safety Education for Migrant Youth based on Big Data)

  • 연구목적: 본 연구는 이주배경청소년을 대상으로 한 재난 안전교육에 대한 자료를 분석하고 그에 따른 사회적 인식을 확인하고자 하였다. 연구방법: Textom과 Ucinet을 이용하여 이주배경청소년 재난 안전 교육에 대한 자료를 수집 및 분석하였다. 연구에서 사용한 자료는 2016년부터 2023년까지 포털 웹사이트에서 '이주배경청소년+재난+안전교육'을 키워드로 검색하였다. 연구결과: 분석결과 교육(306)'이 가장 높은 빈도를, 그 뒤로 '안전(287)', '학교(97)', '사회(85)', '지원(77)'이 높은 빈도인 것으로 나타났으며, 연결중심성 및 근접중심성, 매개중심성이 가장 높은 키워드는 '교육', '안전', '사회'이며 '가정'은 빈도분석, 연결중심성이나 근접중심성 순위보다 더 높은 순위로 나타나 이주배경청소년 재난안전교육의 네트워크 연결망에서 '가정'이 중재자 역할로 많은 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있다. 결론:이주배경 청소년의 재난안전교육의 사회적 인식을 살펴봄으로써 이주배경청소년의 재난취약계층 특성을 고려한 재난 안전 교육 정책 및 전략에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

의사와 간호사의 환자안전교육 경험에 관한 포커스 그룹 연구 (Focus Group Study on Health Care Professionals' Experience of Patient Safety Education)

  • Purpose:This study aims to understand and explore the subjective experiences of patient safety education among health care professionals in developing a patient safety curriculum in South Korea. Methods: A qualitative descriptive study was conducted through two focus group interviews in the period October-December 2018. Eleven participants who underwent patient safety education participated in each session. All interviews were recorded and transcribed as spoken, and qualitative content analysis was used to identify categories of discussion depicting participants' subjective experience with patient safety education. Results: A total of three categories and seven themes were identified out of 77 units of analysis. Topics were identified in the dimensions of a patient safety curriculum, as follows: (1) activities for patient safety; (2) principle of patient safety (five rights, ethics, patient participation) and patient participation; (3) leadership, teamwork, and communication; and (4) reporting and learning system for patient safety events. In the dimension of methods, (5) case and evidence-based education and (6) multidisciplinary and small group teaching were identified. Finally, in the dimension of the system, (7) policies for patient safety education were identified. Conclusion: Our findings indicate that patient safety education is a significant area for health care professionals. Health care professionals suggested that a systematic patient safety curriculum would improve their knowledge and attitude toward patient safety. Moreover, it enables them to better construct a safety environment in a hospital.

대학생의 안전의식과 인지행동요인 간의 관련성: 대학생활관 입사생 건강안전기초조사결과를 중심으로 (Association with safety consciousness and cognitive-behavioral factors among university students: Focusing on the health and safety survey for university students living in dormitories on campus)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate safety consciousness (SC), cognitive-behavioral strategy (CBS), and safety behavior (SB) among university students living in dormitories on campus. Methods: The data was analyzed to compare the safety behavior by sex, safety related factors, and safety consciousness index in the SPSS 23 program using Chi-square test, t-test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. Results: The participants in the health and safety behaviors survey were 2,721 students who have been in dormitories on campus. On the mean of items, the Public Safety Consciousness Index (PSCI) was 93.1, SC was 26.9, CBS was 15.7, and SB was 50.4. It were significant correlations between SC, CBS, and SB among university students (r=0.74-0.78), and CBS was identified as the mediator. Finally, it was significant increase the SC, CBS, and SB by sex and participation on safety education, but decrease by age and experience of accident and disaster. Conclusions: It is necessary to develop safety education program enhancing safety consciousness and safety behavior in order to prevent accidents on campus. And it suggests that safety education should be included in regular curriculum of university to improve health status and achieve academic goals.

메타버스를 기반으로 한 안전교육 방법론에 관한 연구 (Research on Safety Education Methodology Based on the Metaverse)

  • 본 논문은 안전 교육 분야에서 메타버스 기술의 개념과 지속적으로 발전하는 응용에 대해 논의하며, 메타버스 기술을 안전 교육에 활용하기 위한 방법론을 제안한다. 또한, 메타버스를 사용한 교육 사례들을 분석하여 안전 교육의 발전 방향을 탐구한다. 따라서, 이 연구는 메타버스 기술을 활용한 안전 교육 방법론을 제안하는 것을 목표로 한다. 최근 메타버스는 교육을 포함한 다양한 분야에서 새로운 플랫폼으로 부상하고 있다. 특히, 메타버스 기술을 사용한 안전 교육은 상호 작용을 통해 이해와 몰입을 증진시키며, 일방적인 교육 방식에서 벗어나 참여적인 학습 경험을 제공할 수 있다. 이 논문은 메타버스 기술을 사용한 안전 교육을 위한 3단계 교육 과정을 제안하고, 각 단계에 대한 다양한 실행 가능한 프로젝트와 활동 예시를 제시한다. 이러한 접근 방식은 전통적인 안전 교육 방법을 넘어서 다양한 상황에 대한 실질적인 대응 능력을 개발하는 데 기여할 수 있다.향후 연구에서는 이러한 교육 방법론의 장기적인 효과와 교육 현장에서의 실질적 적용 가능성에 대한 심도 깊은 탐구가 기대된다.
