Multicultural education is what educates the comprehension about social structure, social criticism, and an ideology of participatory democracy. A discussion about equality education based on the ethic of equal caring so that individual life is in harmony with communal life has very important meaning to actualize the equality of multicultural community. Therefore, this study explored 'caring in education' as care community which takes care of self and the inner circle as well as provides care of others. I analyze Walzer's concept of Complex Equality that criticizes the social alchemy in which man possesses various social goods through the possession of one good, namely the dominant good. Next, I discuss Noddings's caring in education which examined, focusing on the possibility that caring in education can be the new curriculum that every student is able to pursue excellence.
The goals of nursing education, and the bases for evaluating them depend on the goals of nursing practice. In order to prepare for the coming twenty first century and the meet changing societal demands and health needs, it is necessary to develop a new conceptual framework for future nursing education. While hospitals will still be in significant components of the health care system, will no longer be central focus or dominant influence. Health care services will be more usually delivered at community base. The nursing education required by that new approach must provide for reconsidered about a concept of caring as nursing curriculum. The changes in health care delivery that have occured, now being proposed, for nursing education undergoing its own changes. So the philosophy and objectives of education meed to reconsidering about the caring concept and general nursing. Nurse educators must prepare students to practic in condition of constant change. At the same time nurse educators must emphasize preparation about that. The practice of science of caring in nursing draws on a basic knowledge of the behavioral knowledge, biophysical processes, pathological processes, nursing skills and procedures and various treatment regimes and problem solving to help decision making in nursing situations. The concept of care is probably one of the least understood ideas used by professional and nonprofessional people, yet it is probably one of the most improtant concepts to be understood by nursing. Human caring and human relationships are closely interrelated. Humn caring remains an essential dimension of professional work and the science of caring as essental to the discipline of nursing. It is expected that the objectives of nursing education will be accomplished when the course and content of the curriculum are based on this conceptual framework. One recurrent education goal with some consistency is that of equipping the student with the necessary skills to live effectively and productivly in the world of tomorrow. In the new vision we are developing, professional education must also include exposure to liberal arts, encouragement of critical thinking, and a moral context for advanced professional education that is based upon a contextual health policy and caring science educational model.

Data have been collected from 125 care workers in 5 nursing homes. Data were analyzed using frequency, t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), and Pearson correlation coefficients. Results: 1) The average percentage of correct answers for care workers' fall-related knowledge was 72.2%. There were significant differences in fall-related knowledge by age, experiences of re-education about care for fall injuries, and experiences to transfer fall patients to another hospital. 2) The average level of care workers' caring behaviors for fall prevention was 3.81 points out of 4. There were significant differences by experiences of education about care for fall injuries in nursing home and concern of fall injury prevention. 3) There was a significant correlation between fall-related knowledge and caring behaviors for fall prevention (r=.320, p<.001). Conclusion: The level of fall-related knowledge is positively correlated to the level of caring behaviors for fall prevention. Therefore, nurses should prepare education programs to increase care workers' fall-related knowledge and caring behaviors for fall prevention.

This ethnographic case-study explores the daily experiences in child-rearing and education among Korean full-time housewives. For this purpose, 11 full-time housewives in their thirties and forties from the middle class were interviewed with an unstructured questionnaire. The findings are as follows: Full-time housewives tend to assume the full responsibility for child-caring and education. Their time is structured around the schedules of caring children and participating in educational programs for children. The most demanding tasks for them include preparing for a preschool, getting the children ready for school, rendering supports for children's schools, extra curricular education, and arranging and offering gift money to teachers. They feel that their husbands do not provide enough supports for child-caring and education. Despite all the negative experiences, Korean full-time housewives put in whatever they have to make sure their children's well-being and to provide the best education possible for their children; the maternal identity plays a role of the utmost importance in them.
