As the service robot market grows among the food technology industry, the quality of robot service that affects consumer behavioral intentions in the restaurant industry has become important. Serving robots, which are common in restaurants, reduce employee work through order and delivery, but because they do not respond to service failures, they increase customer dissatisfaction as well as increase employee work. In order to improve the quality of service beyond the simple function of receiving and serving orders, functions of recovery effort, fairness, empathy, responsiveness, and certainty of the process after service failure, such as serving employees, are also required. Accordingly, we assumed the type of failure of restaurant serving service as two internal and external factors, and developed a serving robot with a vocational ethics module to respond with a professional ethical attitude when the restaurant serving service fails. At this time, the expression and action of the serving robot were developed by adding a failure mode reflecting failure recovery efforts and empathy to the normal service mode. And by recruiting college students, we tested whether the service robot's response to two types of service failures had a significant effect on evaluating the robot. Participants responded that they were more uncomfortable with service failures caused by other customers' mistakes than robot mistakes, and that the serving robot's professional ethical empathy and response were appropriate. In addition, unlike the robot's favorability, the evaluation of the safety of the robot had a significant difference depending on whether or not a professional ethical empathy module was installed. A professional ethical empathy response module for natural service failure recovery using generative artificial intelligence should be developed and mounted, and the domestic serving robot industry and market are expected to grow more rapidly if the Korean serving robot certification system is introduced.

The international convention on standards of training, certification and watch-keeping for seafarers, 1978(1978 STCW convention) has been established as a minimum standard and competence of seafarers, and contributed to reduce marine accidents caused by human errors. The convention has been partly amended several times according to environmental change of ship's operation and there were comprehensive revisions in so called 1995 amended STCW convention. In these years, ships are in tendency of increasing size and speed, and also adopted high technologies. These kinds of changes brought STW sub-committee up for discussions to modify the convention to cope with new environments from the year of 2006. As the result, major amendaments to STCW convention have been adopted at a diplomatic conference in Manila, Philippine in June 2010, thereby new global standards will be in force to train and certify seafarers to operate technologically advanced ships before long. This paper is to introduce major amendaments such as ship's security, ECDIS and leadership etc. in this Manila amendments and to clarify some articles to be adopted in programs for education and training of seafarers in Korea.

This study was conducted for the purpose of convergence exploration of evidence-based practices for the advancement of performance analysis of the extracurricular activities at Duksung Women's University. The research method consisted of an expert meeting procedure along with a procedure for analyzing previous studies dealing with the performance analysis of the university's extracurricular activities in the field of pedagogy. The contents of this study consisted of presenting some facts that should be based on evidence for the advancement of performance analysis of the extracurricular activities after the establishment of the center for extracurricular activities in Duksung Women's University. And in practices, the development and diagnostic analysis of tools for diagnosing extracurricular customized learning capabilities, data-based multidimensional analysis (IR system), continuous monitoring analysis through extracurricular certification, and analysis based on feedback tools were presented in a convergence perspective and context. As a result of the study, the evidence-based practices for the advancement of the performance analysis of the extracurricular activities at Duksung Women's University guarantees the validity and stability of the performance evaluation and feedback system of the extracurricular activities at Duksung Women's University, and has a close influence on the extracurricular education work of other universities analyzed as possible.

The reason why current using finger recognition smart phone, and device are not so popular is that there are many problem: not providing reasonable price, breaching human rights. In addition, finger recognition sensor is not providing reasonable price to customers but through continuous development of the smartphone and device, it will be more miniaturized and its price will fall. So once utilization of finger recognition is actively used in smartphone and if its utilization area broaden to financial transaction. Utilization of biometrics in smart device will be debated briskly. So in this thesis we will propose fingerprint numbering system which is combined fingerprint and password to fortify existing fingerprint recognition. Consisted by 4 number of password has this kind of problem so we will replace existing 4number password and pattern system and consolidate with fingerprint recognition and password reinforce security. In original fingerprint recognition system there is only 10 numbers of cases but if numbering to fingerprint we can consist of a password as a new method. Using proposed method user enter fingerprint as invested number to the finger. So attacker will have difficulty to collect all kind of fingerprint to forge and infer user's password. After fingerprint numbering, system can use the method of recognization of entering several fingerprint at the same time or enter fingerprint in regular sequence. In this thesis we adapt entering fingerprint in regular sequence and if in this system allow duplication when entering fingerprint. In case of allowing duplication a number of possible combinations is $\sum_{I=1}^{10}\;{_{10}P_i}$ and its total cases of number is 9,864,100. So by this method user retain security the other hand attacker will have a number of difficulties to conjecture and it is needed to obtain user's fingerprint thus this system will enhance user's security. This system is method not accept only one fingerprint but accept multiple finger in regular sequence. In this thesis we introduce the method in the environment of smartphone by using multiple numbered fingerprint enter to authorize user. Present smartphone authorization using pattern and password and fingerprint are exposed to high risk so if proposed system overcome delay time when user enter their finger to recognition device and relate to other biometric method it will have more concrete security. The problem should be solved after this research is reducing fingerprint's numbering time and hardware development should be preceded. If in the future using fingerprint public certification becomes popular. The fingerprint recognition in the smartphone will become important security issue so this thesis will utilize to fortify fingerprint recognition research.
Purpose: The object evaluation method about medical institutes of these days increases credibility of consumers about medical services by conducting a certification system about medical institutes. In addition, as nuclear medicine test rooms and diagnosis test medicine room adopt many kinds of international certification systems, the matters regarding safety management of test rooms are being regarded as important. Since the blood test rooms of nuclear medicine are exposed to many harmful factors such as infection from clinical specimen and radioactive isotope reagent, there is a need to pay lots of attention to the safety management of staff and patients. Therefore, this study discusses safety management activities of staff and patients, which are conducted in the blood test rooms of the nuclear medicine department in Asan Medical Center. Materials and Methods: In the blood test rooms of the nuclear medicine department in Asan Medical Center, the matters regarding comprehensive safety management by the person in charge of safety management are offered and all staff members of the test rooms apply them into work. Safety management education is regularly conducted according to established regulations, and infection is prevented through implementation of wearing personal protectors and hand sanitation during test work. In addition, technical safety guides and accident guides for interruption of electric power are provided against emergencies. Through infection management guides, infection prevention and preparation methods for infection are learned and radioactive isotope management, safety management about reagent use and safety guides about harmful chemical substances are being applied to work. Results: The blood test rooms of the nuclear medicine department apply safety management regulations to work. Under the situation where hand sanitation should be conducted, hands are washed to prevent infection between staff and patients, and for preventing infection from clinical specimen, personal protectors are worn. The reagent, which is classified as harmful substance, is separately stored to be easily recognized, radioactive wastes and general medical wastes are also safely managed. Through these lots of safety management activities, safety management awareness of staff members is enhanced, and patients are protected from many dangers. Conclusion: Staff members of the blood test rooms of the nuclear medicine department should be fully aware of safety management regulations and apply them to work. When better safety management suggestions are made, they need to be examined and applied for increasing quality of safety management for staff and patients.
This study was to investigate the relationship between safety & quality management changes of patient and changes in management activities based on hospital workers in five mental hospitals and five geriatric hospitals which should be required medical certifying authorities. As a result of the research study, participation whether or not of certification service of mental hospital & geriatric hospital workers was positive correlation to improve change of 'Performance level of Safety Activities for the patient' 'Provide the High Quality Medical Service for the patient' 'Respect the Rights and Responsibility of the patient' 'Performance level of Infection Control Activities' out of contents of Patient Safety & Medical Service Quality. Also developmental changes of Safety Activities for the patient Hospital Quality for the patient Rights and Responsibility of the patient out of contents of Patient Safety & Medical Service Quality need to the Capacity Management Activities through Education and training, and Medical System & Evaluation of Management Provide the High Quality Medical Service for the patient out of contents of Patient Safety & Medical Service Quality need to the need to the Customer Orientation Process.
As the role and the importance of private security are emphasized in an independent way, as well as in a supportive way for police affairs, this study aims to figure out factors affecting job satisfaction of private security guards by investigating their job satisfaction. This study also suggests some solutions for improvement of their job satisfaction, such as enhancing task motivation and professionalism of private security guards. For the research were used SPSS(Statistical Package for the Social Science) WIN 24 programs. Frequency analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis and Crosstabulation analysis were performed as analytic methods. As a result of the study, the most fundamental factor in the job satisfaction of the private security guards was 'social recognition'. Social recognition forms when private security guards are trusted as professionals and the value of a job is enhanced. The policy recommendations to improve the job satisfaction of private security guards can be explained as follows. First, a government certification system should be established in an attempt to recruit professional private security guards. Second, in order to improve the work ability of private security guards, it is necessary to designate a special educational institution for a private security guards and provide systematic education. Third, the wage of private security guards should be readjusted to a realistic level. Fourth, it is necessary to secure substantial effect on the permission and the supervision of private security business. Finally, the business area based on public interest should be expanded.

In Korea, previous certification of water supply infrastructure was mainly focused on economical and physical aspects. Recently, hygienic safety of water supply service has become a sensitive and important issue to our people for evaluating the water quality with growth of economy and education system. According on water quality in 497 Korean water supply facilities, pH values in the supplied water have ranged between 5.8-8.5. However, little is known about metal leachability at the pH conditions observed in the real water supply systems because a fixed pH condition (pH 7.0) has been used in the current standard method, 'Hygienic Safety Testing Method', in water supply. In this work, we examined the effects on heavy metal leachability with pH differences in the water supply pipes which are typically used in Korea. As a result, the amounts of metal leachability were tended to increase when pH levels were decreased. Especially at pH 5.8, Cu leachability from Cu pipes was found to exceed the public health standard level even after applying a normalization factor (NF) given by the current Korea standard method. The Cr and Cu leached from stainless steel pipes, Cd, Pb, Cu, and Zn from Cu-based pipe fittings, and Zn from Zn-based pipe fittings were exceeded the Korean hygienic safety standards while, after applying the NF, concentrations of the leached metals were satisfied with the current Korean standard. The findings from this work provide implications on the needs of reforming the current hygienic safety standard methodology.
Sampling In this study, we examined the problems and their improvement plans associated with the reliability management sector in quality management engineer test conducted in Korea. First of all, there seems to be a problem in that the terminology is not unified and some techniques essential for reliability analysis are not included. We also looked at quality and reliability tests performed in foreign countries (especially USA) that Koreans often acquire. In particular, it can be seen that the CRE test almost overlaps with the contents of the reliability management engineer test in Korea. However, while the USA is an open book test, Korea is not, so the problem is that there are too many formulas to memorize on the part of the test takers. In addition, the analysis of the data is done manually without using computer software. If the test were an open book test like the CRE test in USA, it will be a test that can go beyond fragmentary knowledge and check whether test takers have the essential elements in reliability management. Lastly, if we adopt re-certification system through education and work within a certain period of time, as in USA, it will be a qualification test suitable for modern people living in a flood of information.
This qualitative research investigated in-service science teachers' perceptions about cooperative learning and their perceived barriers in implementing cooperative learning in their classrooms. The underlying premise for cooperative learning is founded in constructivist epistemology. Cooperative learning (CL) is presented as an alternative frame to the current educational system which emphasizes content memorization and individual student performance through competition. An in-depth interview was conducted with 18 in-service science teachers who enrolled in the first-class teacher certification program during 2001 summer vacation. These secondary school teachers's interview data were analyzed and categorized into three areas: teachers' definition of cooperative learning, issues with implementing cooperative learning in classrooms, and teachers' and students' responses towards cooperative learning. Each of these areas are further subdivided into 10 themes: teachers' perceived meaning of cooperative learning, the importance of talk in learning, when to use cooperative learning, how to end a cooperative class, how to group students for cooperative learning, obstacles to implementing cooperative learning, students' reactions to cooperative learning, teachers' reasons for choosing (not choosing) student-centered approaches to learning/teaching, characteristics of teachers who use cooperative learning methods, and teachers' reasons for resisting cooperative learning. Detailed descriptions of the teachers' responses and discussion on each category are provided. For the development and implementation of CL in more classrooms, there should be changes and supports in the following five areas: (1) teachers have to examine their pedagogical beliefs toward constructivist perspectives, (2) teacher (re)education programs have to provide teachers with cooperative learning opportunities in methods courses, (3) students' understanding of their changed roles (4) supports in light of curriculum materials and instructional resources, (5) supports in terms of facilities and administrators. It's important to remember that cooperative learning is not a panacea for all instructional problems. It's only one way of teaching and learning, useful for specific kinds of teaching goals and especially relevant for classrooms with a wide mix of student academic skills. Suggestions for further research are also provided.
