  • Waste refrigerator is the most large amount of item being recycled and the recycling process is the most complicated in WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) because refrigerator is biggest product and consists of various parts and materials such as ferrous, non-ferrous, and plastics. Recently, recycling process of waste refrigerator has been being more complex since large capacity 2 door refrigerators and standing Kimchi refrigerators with various material are distributed on custom market. In addition, recycling of valuable resource from waste refrigerator is mandatory by WEEEs recycling legislation; therefore, high efficiency recycling enough for economic and environment-friendly recovery of valuable resource through present technical situation analysis and comparison of recycling technologies of waste refrigerator with advanced country.

  • Background: This study investigated whether pre- and peri-disaster experiences influence on PostTraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and whether post-disaster stress by life changes have impact on PTSD after controlling pre- and peri-disaster factors. Methods: Data came from a sample of 1,182 respondents who experienced natural disasters (flood and typhoon) in South Korea from 2012 to 2015. The SPSS Win 22.0 program was used for descriptive analysis, t-test, Chi-square test, Pearson's correlation and logistic regression analysis. Results: The results indicated that 24.3% of the disaster victims were in PTSD risk group. Compared with non-PTSD, PTSD risk group showed lower interpersonal trust and satisfaction, higher depression and anxiety, and lower subjective well-being. The results of hierarchical logistc regression revealed that all pre-, peri-, and post-disaster factors increased the probability of developing PTSD, except for relocation of residence. Moreover, a primary post-disaster predictor of PTSD was economic distress after controlling for pre- and peri-disaster. Conclusions: This study tested relative contributions of post-disaster factors on PTSD.

  • The aim of this study was to investigate the priority partner countries for technical vocational education and training (TVET), using the cluster analysis. The partner countries were prioritized for finance supports and knowledge sharing. We had also redesigned the TVET assistance process as well as reflected the needs of recipient countries for TVET. Especially, by redesigning the methodological support process, we also increased the effectiveness and efficiency of TVET official development assistance. In research method, potential 24 priority partner countries have been designated by the international development cooperation committee and selection criteria of international cooperation agencies and banks. Then, we conducted the cluster analysis, using three main variables: economic factor, labor market factor, education factor. In results, we clustered four and three types of the priority partner countries for TVET. In future, we suggested the new approach for selecting the priority partner countries in terms of employment and labor as well as non-designated partner countries, which will need to cooperate for TVET.

  • People who face retirement in aging society experience changes in resilience and psychological depression. As the baby boomer generation, which has played a central role in Korea's economic and social sectors, begins retiring, interest in their post-retirement lives has also increased. Thus, this study investigates the effects of a forest healing program using forest healing factors of ecological forests on the resilience and depression of baby-boomer retirees. This experiment divided 58 subjects in the baby boomer generation into three groups and examined differences among the groups. The result showed that the subjects in the forest healing program group (FHPG) had a very significant increase in resilience and a statistically significant decrease in depression compared to those in the forest healing program non-participation group (FHNG) and the daily life group (DLG). Therefore, it can be said participating in the forest healing program is more effective for retirees than voluntary forest activities. The results of this study can be used as basic data for research on the resilience and depression of retirees.

  • Like most developed countries, South Korea is experiencing a severe lack of seafarers. Because young people's demands for a high quality of life has led them to seek shore-based careers. The wage difference between seafaring and shore-based careers has been decreasing gradually, however South Korea's unique Boarding Service Reserve System Policy has helped recruit and retain young sailors and, since 2017, the government has focused on creating new jobs and stabilizing the status of irregular workers in both private and public sectors. It specifically established the Economic, Social & Labor Council to carefully analyze seafarers' employment stability, which previously had been overlooked in the country. This research used the Binary Logit Model (BLM) to analyze the determinants of seafarers' employment stability in both permanent and non-permanent positions. We found that seafarers' employment stability correlated highly with their education level. This means that seafarers who graduated from the above mentioned two maritime universities would have more job stablity than those who graduated from maritime high schools or general universities. Other independent variables, such as the shipping company, vessel, hip management companies, work assignment, rank, and license had no significant impact on employment stability.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore what factors influenced users using smartphones in their decision making. In this study, intimacy/personal connectivity, use/dependence, familiarity/professionalism, efficacy/effectiveness, self-identity, control, etc. were set as independent variables and decision-making as dependent variables. In this study, 200 smartphone users were collected and analyzed through a questionnaire, and a nonlinear analysis method using WarpPLS software was utilized to identify the effects between variables. As a result, this study confirmed that factors in smart phone ownership (SPO) could affect individual decision-making and identify that users' psychological factors in the use of smart devices would be directly related to the outcome of decision-making. Through this, it is possible to understand the development of future industries and the acceptability of users using smart devices. and will be meaningful research in tourism, new product development, or continuous brand development.

  • In this study, the housing-related characteristics of the youth are reviewed using data from the 4th - 14th Youth Panel Survey(YP2007) of the Korea Employment Information Service in the period 2010 - 2020. The factors that affect the characteristics of their dwelling are analysed. As a result, males, highly educated, and employed people are more likely to live in their own homes and apartments, but many of them seem to be living with their parents. On the contrary, economically independent young people tend to occupy their dwellings in the form of jeonsei/monthly rent and live in multi-family units, villas, and officetel. To support the youth in overcoming their key issues such as housing affordability, jobs, and marriage, so that they can play their roles, the cost of homeownership and rent should be tailored to their economic situations.

Dasan Jeong Yak-yong's respect for adults was to practice the ideology of Confucianism, so this was the most important thing in the past Joseon Dynasty. In particular, it was considered important to think of adults first in practicing filial piety. This study focuses on the long-term care insurance system for the elderly, one of the welfare policy measures for the elderly. The significance of implementing the long-term care insurance system for the elderly is to benefit not only the elderly, but also all generations, including the middle-aged and children who were in charge of long-term care. To this end, the government should properly manage the factors of the social insurance financial crisis caused by the low birth rate and aging population. In addition, concerns about health insurance are high, so it is necessary to secure an appropriate level of government budget for health insurance financial management and minimize unnecessary non-benefit. In addition, it is necessary to induce appropriate medical use through connection with construction medical insurance.
