In this paper, using an idea from the direct method of Hyers, we give the conditions in order for a linear mapping near an approximately additive mapping to exist.

The basic equations of a doubly-fed long-stator linear motor for a shuttle-based railway system are established. They show which degrees of freedom exist for controlling the motor. The ratio of stator and rotor current proves to be an important parameter in determining the design of motors, converters and mechanics.

After introducing Tropical Algebraic Varieties, we give a polyhedral description of tropical hypersurfaces. Using TOPCOM and GAP, we show that there exist 59 types of two dimensional tropical quadric surfaces. We also show a criterion for a quadric hypersurface to be non-degenerate in terms of a tropical rank.

In this paper, we consider a free boundary problem with Pushchino dynamics satisfying the Dirichlet boundary condition. We shall the stationary solutions ($v^{*}(x),s^{*}$) exist and the Hopf bifurcation occurs at a critical point when s $\in$ (1/3,1).

Some compounds with tetrahedral framework structures are synthetized and the general methods of synthesis are discussed. There exist tridymite-, cristobalite-, Icmm-, Immm-, beryllonite-, feldspar-, and paracelsian-structure type in the gropu of compounds. Their lattice constants and space groups are summarized and given in a table.

This paper deals with the decision in vague knowledge, One method is a classic theory. That is to say, constraints and goals in the vague knowledge. Another method is the fuzzy catastrophe. If there exist two fuzzy variables, there may be a discontinuity which plays an important role in decision.

Nine giant star's spectra in NGC 3201 were obtained using the image tube in Sutherland. From the analysis of these spectra we found the increase of Ca I and CH abundances with decreasing the radial distnace, but CN, Ca II and Fe abundances do not show this. Dependence of the calculated parameters seems to exist among CN, Ca I, Ca II and CH abundances.

There exist many computer algorithms to solve a system of nonlinear equations. But in case nonlinear equations are complex it is not easy to solve a system of nonlinear equations. In this paper we consider the method of using NLIN procedure in SAS/STAT to solve a system of nonlinear equations.

We consider a double threshold AR-ARCH type process and give sufficient conditions under which the higher-order moments exist. Geometric ergodicity and strict stationarity are also studied.
