  • This study aims to explore the effect of quality factors and learning styles on users' satisfaction in e-Learning context. For this purpose, statistical methods such as reliability test, factor analysis, ANOVA, regression analysis were carried out using the survey data from university students. The quality factors of e-Learning were classified into contents, system, service, and interpersonal activities while learning styles were classified into positive-cooperative, self-directed, environmental-dependent, and passive styles. The results showed that each quality factors of e-Learning has a strong positive effect on user satisfaction, and self-directed group has higher satisfaction than other groups. Learning styles have moderating effects on the quality-satisfaction relationship, and especially, the group of passive learning style has a strong moderating effect on the interpersonal activities. Theoretical and practical implications and future research directions are drawn from these findings.

  • As the development of information technology, the biggest change in educational paradigm is apparent in the shift that the emphasis of education is layed on from teachers to learners. E-learning education service through the internet is less restricted in the respect of time and places in comparison with off-line education. Therefore e-Learning is spreaded rapidly and the educational effectiveness of that is needed to be investigated. In this study theoretical research was performed firstly and framework of the study was constructed. After establishment of hypotheses the survey data were collected by the learners of e-Learning and the hypotheses were verified by the SPSS version 12.0. The results are as follows : First, the quality of e-Learning service influences significantly to the technology acceptance of users. Secondly, perceived usability and perceived easiness of technology acceptance model influences significantly to the intention of reuse of users of e-Learning services. Lastly, the playfulness of the Flow theory influences significantly to the intention of reuse of users of e-Learning services. Although there are some limitations in the respect of the numbers of variables, parameters, or samples, this study will contribute for enhancing the effectiveness of education in e-Learning service by providing the acceptance factors of e-learners.

  • This study aims to improve the quality of distance learning by developing webcast-based e-learning media and integrating it into an e-learning platform for functional job training purposes at the National Research and Innovation Agency, Indonesia. This study uses a Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to assess and predict user perceptions of information systems using webcast platforms as an alternative to conventional applications. The research method was an online survey using Google Forms. Data collected from 136 respondents involved in practical job training were analyzed using structural equation modeling to test the technology acceptance model. The results showed that the proposed model effectively explained the variables associated with the adoption of web-based e-learning during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia for participants engaged in functional job training. These findings suggest that users' perceptions of ease of use, usefulness, benefits, attitudes, intentions, and webcast usage significantly contribute to the acceptance and use of a more effective and efficient webcast-based e-learning platform.

  • A variety of Web Services are being existences based on the development of the Internet. Especially, e-Learning services in the Universities make the temporal and spatial constraints overcome, and e-Learning services have gained great popularity to the students who use because those provide various convenience and usefulness. e-Learning studies have been actively performed based on the spread of e-Learning in the various industries. A number of studies suggest the diffusion plan of e-Learning applying the Technology Acceptance Model studies. Those studies focused on the ease of use and usefulness of e-Learning. The explanation about educational contents perspectives, which is the key factor in e-Learning, is very weak. Therefore, this study suggested the strategy for spreading the e-Learning adoption through in terms of e-Learning educational contents and trust perspectives. This research results would provide the strategic implications to boost the e-Learning adoption in the various universities in terms of e-Learning educational contents and trust perspectives.

  • This study aims to provide self-development opportunities to hair salons service workers through e-learning and provide the foundation of sustainable hair salons management by cultivating good talents to hair salons service business executives. In particular, the factors affecting e-learning achievement are identified according to learner characteristics to see whether these factors affect the satisfaction of e-learning learners and also affect the performance of management. The results of the study are summarized as follows. As a result of hypotheses testing on the relationship between e-learning learning environment and e-learning satisfaction, it was found that the higher the level of e-learning content quality is, the higher the satisfaction of e-learning is, the higher the satisfaction of e-learning is, and that the higher the quality level of the support infrastructure is, the higher the satisfaction of e-learning is. The results of the hypotheses testing on the moderating effect of learner factors showed that the influence of the quality of the support infrastructure on the e-learning satisfaction differs according to the level of the learner's goal consciousness. However, it was found that the influence of content quality on e-learning satisfaction according to the level of the learners goal awareness, the influence of content quality on e-learning satisfaction according to the level of the aggressiveness of the learners learning attitude, and the influence of the quality of the support infrastructure on the e-learning satisfaction according to the level of the aggressiveness of learners learning attitude were found to identically demonstrate no moderating effects. The results of hypotheses testing on the relationships among e-Learning performance show that the higher the satisfaction of e-learning was, the higher the customer orientation was, and the higher the satisfaction of e-learning was, the higher the contribution of management performance was, and the higher the customer orientation was, the higher the contribution of management performance was. The implications of this study are as follows. First, the actual path of realiting e-learning performance could be identified that is this study provided organizational decision makers involved in the hair salons service operations with practical guidance for the introduction and expansion of successful educational systems. Second, the e-learning environment derived from the theoretical background is different from the e-learning environment required by the learners.

  • Diffusion of e-learning has been accelerated according as the convenience and effectiveness have been increased rapidly due to the advancement of information technology. However, there has been few studies on systematic evaluation of its performance. SERVQUAL model was applied to evaluate the service quality of a 100% on-line lecture opened in a major Korean university. Two classes, one for 71 undergraduate students, the other for 79 graduate students, were opened for the lecture. The gaps between the expected service and the perceived service scores were compared with respect to sex, age, and e-learning experience. Although the gap score of male and female students were not different significantly, the gap scores among the other comparative groups were different. The perceived score of the older group with more than thirty ages was lower than that of the younger group. It seems that the older group evaluated the score based on the practical use of the subject since they are part-time students with jobs. Also, the perceived score of the group with previous e-learning experience was higher than that of the group with no e-learning experience. It seems that the experienced group evaluated it compared with the previous e-learning satisfaction. As it might be expected, the groups with higher perceived scores had stronger intention to recommend the e-learning lecture to other students.

  • According to the 2004 Sloan Consortium Report, distance education is the fastest growing sector of higher education. This study suggests a research model, based on an e-Learning success model, the relationship of the e-learner's self-regulated learning strategy, computer self-efficacy, and system quality perception of the e-Learning environment. As a result, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and service quality effect on e-learner's satisfaction. In addition to, self-regulated learning strategy based on computer self-efficacy is also important variable regarding e-learner's satisfaction.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the quality of 67 kinds of e-learning contents in an attempt to boost the effectiveness of distance teacher training. As a result of analyzing, the e-learning contents were rated highest in terms of 'training content,' followed by 'instructional design,' 'teaching & learning strategies,' 'evaluation' and 'interaction.' The scores of 'teaching & learning strategies,' 'evaluation' and 'interaction' were below 80 that was the standard of quality certification. In mean comparison(ES) of contents quality level between certified contents and non certified contents, 'instructional design' had the largest ES(effect size), followed by 'teaching & learning strategies,' 'evaluation'. In the analysis of evaluation factors, most of factors had a large effect such as 'webpage layout', 'selection of instructional design'. The findings of the study are expected to suggest what improvements should be made in the development of e-learning contents for distance teacher training.
