열간 마무리압연 설정의 정도향상을 위한 동적 설정법 (A Dynamic Set-up Technique for High Accuracy set-up of Continuous Hot Strip Finishing Mill)

  • A dynamic mill set-up technique was developed to achieva a more precise roll gap set-up of the finishing mill stands for steel strip rolling. In the conventional mill set-up model the set-up values such as roll gap and roll speed are determined before the sheet bar reached the entry side of the finishing mill train and maintained constant until the strip top end passes through the last stand. In the way however a dynamic set-up logic that gives a way to adjust the roll gap value of the final mill stand for the strip ingoing from the ahead of the front stand was developed and attached to the existing set-up model. The roll gap modification is based on the analysis of the observation in the third stand of the finishing mill train. The dynamic set-up model was proved very effective for the more precise mill set-up and for operational stability in the hot strip finishing mill train.

  • In order to reduce the length of off-gauge at FGC(Flying gauge change) point, We adopted dynamic set up in No. 4 cold rolling mill. The conventional set-up of FGC(Flying gauge change) was calculated on the basis of preset values in the process control computer, so the difference between actual strip thickness and preset thickness cause long off-gauge. The dynamic SET-UP control was calculated on the basis of actual strip thickness of FGC(Flying gauge change) point from X-ray gauge of mill entry and No.i stand. We applied dynamic SET-UP control in September last year. Compare to the previous result, the length of off-gauge is reduced by about 36%.

  • Set-up reduction is an important aspect of the Japanese Just-In-Time (JIT) and Zero Inventory (ZI) concepts. In this paper, we first analyze the effects of set-up cost reduction on tatal inventory, average lot size and forecast horizon in the dynamic lot size model. We also examine the various effects of set-up cost reduction in the EOQ model and explain why many Japanese firms try to cut set-up cost and/or set-up time greatly.

  • This paper discusses a real time production control system of a FMS (Flexible Manufacturing System). The control is organized in a hierarchical structure according to the various decisions at the different time scales. In the earlier work-set-up time was not considered. Because the capacity of the toll magazine is limited, this assumption may not be adequate for selecting times to change configurations so that new part family can be produced. The goal of the control system is to meet production requirements while the machines fail and are repaired at random times. In this thesis the machien failure and set-up are considered simultaneously. Here the hedging point of this system is calculated, and the formulation of the dynamic control for FMS that has unreliable machines with set-up suggested.

  • In order that precision equipment using high precision industrial operate normally. vibration criteria of expected area that equipment be set up is micrometer level. that method is a trust design for apply to in field, when there attend to quantifiable method. Hence, semi -empirical method that using on the basis of experimental data about undefined information (properities of vibration source, dynamic properities of structure, etc.,) for prediction of vibration response make the use of dynamic structure design of semiconductor & TFT-LCD in the inside and outside country. Like this, for doing an optimal design of dynamic about structure, it is best important to get trust data that apply to semi-empirical method that is method of prediction vibration level. In this paper, on the basis of experimental data which was offered by a manufacturing company Of precisin equipment that plan to set up in semiconductor factory, we predicted vibration response on expected area that equipment be set up.

타입 말뚝의 지지력 증가효과 특성 (The Characteristics of the Set-up Effect of Driven Piles)

  • 국내의 경우 이 등(1994)의 연구를 시작으로 국지 현장별로 타입말뚝의 지지력 증가효과에 대한 사례연구들이 있었다. 그러나 충분한 시험자료를 바탕으로 한 지지력 증가효과에 대한 전반적인 검토는 아직 미흡한 실정이고, 또한 지지력 증가효과에 지반조건 및 말뚝의 형상이 미치는 영향에 대해서는 아직 보고 된 바 없다. 타입말뚝의 지지력 증가효과를 실무적으로 이용하기 위해서는 현장에서 실구조물에 적용된 말뚝에 대한 시험자료의 분석을 실시하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 말뚝기초의 설계 및 향후 사질토에서의 지지력 증가효과 등의 연구를 위한 기본 자료로 활용하기 위해 실구조물에 적용되는 다양한 시험말뚝의 시공과 동재하시험 자료 분석을 통해 지지력 증가효과에 대한 현상을 알아보았다. 말뚝의 동재하시험의 분석 결과, 말뚝지지력의 증가는 토질별로도 영향을 받지만 조성이력에도 영향을 받는 것으로 분석되었으며, 특히 사질토에도 상당한 지지력 증가효과가 나타났다. 이러한 말뚝의 지지력의 증가는 주로 주면부에서 발생하였으며, 선단형상에 따른 지지력 증가효과는 점성토에서는 폐단말뚝이 크고, 사질토에서는 개단말뚝이 큰 것으로 나타났다.

Optimum Design of Integer and Fractional-Order PID Controllers for Boost Converter Using SPEA Look-up Tables

  • This paper presents a method of designing optimal integer- and fractional-order proportional-integral-derivative (FOPID) controllers for a boost converter to gain a set of favorable characteristics at various operating points. A Pareto-based multi-objective optimization approach called strength Pareto evolutionary algorithm (SPEA) is used to obtain fast and low overshoot start-up and dynamic responses and switching stability. The optimization approach generates a set of optimal gains called Pareto set, which corresponds to a Pareto front. The Pareto front is a set of optimal results for objective functions. These results provide designers with a trade-off look-up table, in which they can easily choose any of the optimal gains based on design requirements. The SPEA also overcomes the difficulties of tuning the FOPID controller, which is an extension to the classic integer-order PID controllers and potentially promises better results. The proposed optimized FOPID controller provides an excellent start-up response and the desired dynamic response. This paper presents a detailed comparison of the optimum integer- and the fractional-order PID controllers. Extensive simulation and experimental results prove the superiority of the proposed design methodology to achieve a wide set of desired technical goals.

영업차량에서의 궤도비틀림 검측 방안 연구 (Track Irregularity Inspection Method for Commercial Vehicle)

  • The inspection of track irregularity, which is the most important index for the evaluation of the dynamic safety of the rolling stock, is performed by setting up the testing train set. The self-diagnosis for the various rolling stocks and railways can be obtained if it is possible to take the simultaneous inspection of track irregularity for the commercial vehicle while it is running and to build up a dynamic safety evaluation system. It is expected to have some good effects, such as preventing accident with the low dynamic safety, cutting cost for the testing train set and evaluating the exact influence on the rolling stock and railway. In this study, innertial measuring method, which allows us to directly measure the track irregularity from the commercial vehicle, will be considered and some overseas cases will be explored as well.

  • Set-up현상이 나타나는 지반에 항타된 말뚝의 지지력은 시간경과에 따라 지지력이 증가하게 된다. 파동이론해석법(WEAP해석법)은 말뚝의 항타관입성을 평가하는데 매우 유용한 것으로 평가되고 있다. 그러나 기존의 WEAP해석법은 항타후 변화하는 지반의 강도특성을 고려할 수 없다는 측면에서 재항타시의 신뢰도 있는 지지력을 예측하는데 한계가 있다고 평가된다. WEAP에 의한 항타말뚝의 지지력 평가가 신뢰성 있기 위해서는 set-up효과가 반영되어야만 한다. 그러나 아직까지 이를 고려할 수 있는 만족할 만한 방법이 없다. 본 논문에서는 항타시와 재항타시의 동재하시험 결과들을 통계분석하여 WEAP해석시 set-up효과를 반영할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. 또한 현장 시험결과와의 비교를 통해서, 제안된 변수(quake, damping)를 적용한 파동이론해석 결과는 기존의 방법보다 신뢰성이 있음을 알 수 있었다.

  • Dynamic rerouting이 가능한 다중경로를 갖는 다단 상호접속망을 제안하였다. 구성방식이 간단하며, 단의 수는 $LOG_{2}$(N)으로 감소하므로 Hardware의 복잡도가 감소하는 효과를 얻었다. 출력 번지를 경로선택 태그로 사용할 수 있는 알고리듬을 제안하여 경로 선택 방법을 간단하게 하였고, Dynamic Rerouting이 가능하므로 충돌이 발생하거나, 혹은 스위치 소자에서 고장이 발생한 경우 현 위치에서 역 추적 없이 다른 경로를 선택할 수 있게 되었다. 성능 면에서는 probability of acce-ptance가 개선되었으며, 이를 해석적 방법으로 입증하였다.
