The LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signaling) I/O cells, fully compatible with ANSI TIA/ EIA-644 LVDS standard, are designed using a 0.35${\mu}m$ standard CMOS technology. With a single 3V supply, the core cells operate at 1.34Gbps and power consumption of the output driver and the input receiver is 10. 5mW and 4.2mW, respectively. In the output driver, we employ the DCMFB (Dynamic Common-Mode FeedBack) circuit which can control the DC offset voltage of differential output signals. The SPICE simulation result of the proposed output driver shows that the variation of the DC offset voltage is 15.6% within a permissible range. In the input receiver, the proposed dual input stage with a positive feedback latch covers rail-to-rail input common-mode range and enables a high-speed, low-power operation. 5-channels of the proposed LVDS I/O pair can handle display data up to 8-bit gray scale and UXGA resolution.
본 논문은 FCSR(Freedback Control Swing voltage Reduction) 방식을 이용하여 bus 구동전압을 수백 mV이내로 줄일 수 있는 구동기에 대한 내용을 다루고 있다.
한편 제안된 방식은 CBC 방식 외에 ECB(Electronic Code Book) 방식과 CFB(Cipher Feedback Block) 방식에도 적용할 수 있다.
The concept of feasible & invariant region plays an important role to derive closed loop stability and achie adequate performance of constrained receding horizon predictive control. In this paper, we define a complex polyhedral feasible & invariant set for all stabilizable input-constrained linear systems by using a complex transform and propose a one-norm based receding horizon control scheme using these invariant sets. In order to get a larger stabilizable set, a convex hull of invariant sets which are defined for different state feedback gains is used as a target invariant set of the constrained receding horizon control. The proposed constrained receding horizon control scheme is formulated so that it can be solved via linear programming.

Some recent advances in stability and optimality for the nonlinear receding horizon control (NRHC) or the nonlinear model predictive control (NMPC) are assessed. The NRHCs with terminal conditions are surveyed in terms of a terminal state equality constraint, a terminal cost, and a terminal constraint set. Other NRHCs without terminal conditions are surveyed in terms of a control Lyapunov function (CLF) and cost monotonicity. Additional approaches such as output feedback, fuzzy, and neural network are introduced. This paper excludes the results for linear receding horizon controls and concentrates only on the analytical results of NRHCs, not including applications of NRHCs. Stability and optimality are focused on rather than robustness.
The dual-mode strategy has been adopted in many constrained MPC methods. The size of stabilizable regions of states of MPC methods depends on the size of underlying feasible and positively invariant set and number of control moves. These results, however, could be conservative because the definition of positive invariance does not allow temporal leave of states from the set, In this paper, a concept of periodic invariance is introduced in which states are allowed to leave a set temporarily but return into the set in finite steps. The periodic invariance can defined with respect to sets of different state feedback gains. These facts make it possible for the periodically invariant sets to considerably larger than ordinary invariant sets. The periodic invariance can be defined for systems with polyhedral model uncertainties. We derive a MPC method based on these periodically invariant sets. Some numerical examples are given to show that the use of periodic invariance yields considerably larger stabilizable sets than the case of using ordinary invariance.

본 논문은 DOCSIS(Data Over Cable Service Interface Specifications)를 기반으로 하는 디지털 CATV(Cable TV)의 케이블 모뎀에서 적용이 가능한 이중모드 등화기의 모의실험 결과에 관한내용이다.
A robust motion control method is proposed fur the point-to-point position control of a XY positioning system which consists of a base cart, elastic ben and moving mass. The horizontal motion controller consists of the feedforward controller to suppress the single mode vibration of the elastic beam and the feedback controller to get the high-accuracy positioning performance of the base cart. Input preshaping vibration suppression method based on system modeling with analytic frequency equation is proposed and integrated into the robust internal-loop compensator(RIC) to increase the robustness of the whole closed-loop system The vertical motion controller is proposed based on the dual RIC structure. Through experiments, it is shown that the proposed method can stabilize the system and suppress the vibration in the presence of uncertainties and disturbances.
