후막 Na β"-Alumina 복합 고체 전해질 및 Gel-Type 유황 양극을 활용한 상온형 Na-S 전지의 특성 평가 (Room Temperature Na/S Batteries Using a Thick Film of Na β"-Alumina Composite Electrolyte and Gel-Type Sulfur Cathode)

  • In this study, we introduce a Na β"-alumina composite thick film as a solid electrolyte, to reduce the resistance of electrolyte for a Na/S battery. An alumina/zirconia composite material was used to enhance the mechanical properties of the electrolyte. A solid electrolyte of about 40 ㎛ thick was successfully fabricated through the conversion and tape-casting methods. In order to investigate the effect of the surface treatment process of the solid electrolyte on the battery performance, the electrolyte was polished by dry and wet processes, respectively, and then the Na/S batteries were prepared for analyzing the battery characteristics. The battery with the dry process performed much better than the battery made with the wet process. As a result, the battery manufactured by the dry process showed excellent performance. Therefore, it is confirmed that the surface treatment process of the solid electrolyte has an important effect on the battery capacity and coulombic efficiency, as well as the interface reaction.

물 중 일반세균 정량에 대한 배지법과 건조필름법의 상관관계 (Correlation between Plate Count Agar and Dry Rehydratable Film Method for Enumeration of Total Aerobic Bacteria in Water)

  • The quantitative accuracy of dry rehydratable film method was compared with the standard culture method to analyze the applicability of dry rehydratable film in the total aerobic bacteria test for water. The materials used in this study were 500 cases of water and were tested according to the Korean official test method for drinking water. The mean value of the total aerobic bacteria in plate count agar(PCA) and MC-Media Pad AC(MAC) were 2.6 ± 1.1 Log cfu/mL and 2.6 ± 1.2 Log cfu/mL. The p value and correlation coefficient(R2) were 0.933 and 0.9985 between the PCA and MAC, respectively, indicating no significant difference and very high correlation. According to the water types, the p value and R2 were 0.887 and 0.9911 in the PCA and MAC. In the purified water, the p value was 0.973 and R2 was 0.9934 in the PCA and MAC of other water. In each type of water, there were no significant differences between the PCA and MAC, and the correlation was very high. Thus, it is suggested that the MAC would be available for total aerobic bacteria test for water.

중요민속자료(복식)의 보존처리 (The Conservation Treatment for the Important Folklore Materials-Clothes)

  • The cultural properties of cloth are of animal orgin (silk), or of vegetable orgin(cotton, hemp, ramie). As clothes are of an orginic material, they were subjected to damage by chemical, phisigical or biological factors, viz, moulds insects, lights, humidity and temperature changes, etc. And these factors promote that clothes generally result from various types of deterioration. In 1992, We were performed the conservation treatments for total 9 pieces of cloth, such as 3 pieces of General PAK SHIN-RYONG(Important Folklore Material No.110) 3 pieces of Madam Jung(Important Folklore Material No.115) and 1 piece of King Se-jo(Important Folklore Material No.219). The procedure of the conservation treatment for clothes describe the following below. 1) The washing and dry-cleaning to remove the contaminated substances from cloth was used 0.2% stearyl potassium soap solution and the mixture solution compound of n-Hexane, C6H14. and n-Decane, C10H22. And after the washing and dry-cleaning, the dry of clothes was carried out in a warm condition. These steps were repeated in 2 times over for each cloth. 2) The repair of clothes was attached the similar textiles to stronger fabric linings by needlework.3) The reprodution was made for cloth of King Se-jo to equalize the type, color, quality and skill of materials. 4) After these above procedures, all clothes fumigated to prevent the biodeterioration by using the mixed gas of methyl bromide and ethylene oxide as insecticide and fungicide. 5) Finally for the purpose to keep in a safety long-term condition, the treated clothes sealed with Biaxially Oriented Polyvinylacohol Film(BO-PVA film) and Helium, purity 99.999%, filled up in sealed BO-PVA film bag.

  • x-ray 필름 정착과정에서 발생하는 폐액 중에 함유된 은의 평균농도는 약 1,500mg/$\ell$ 정도이므로 폐수를 처리없이 방류할 경우 수생태계에 독성을 나타낼 수 있어 방류전에 처리할 필요가 있다. x-ray 필름 정착과정에서 발생하는 폐수를 처리하는 방법으로는 전기분해, 화학침전법, 금속치환법 등이 알려져 있으나 본 연구에서는 시약용 이산화망간과 폐건전지에서 회수한 이산화망간을 흡착제로 하여 정착폐액에 함유된 은 성분을 흡착하였다. 회분식 및 연속식 실험에서 시약용 이산화망간(MDO)을 사용하였을 경우 흡착결과가 우수하였으나 폐건전지에서 회수한 이산화망간(RMDO)도 흡착제로서 우수함을 알 수 있었다.

종이와 플라스틱 필름의 이종 재질로 구성된 직교류형 간접증발소자의 성능에 대한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Performance of a Cross-Flow-Type, Indirect Evaporative Cooler Made of Paper/Plastic Film)

  • In Korea, a typically hot and humid summer means that air-conditioners consume a large quantity of electricity; accordingly, the simultaneous usage of an indirect evaporative cooler may reduce the sensible-heat level and save the amount of electricity that is consumed. In this study, the heat-transfer and pressure-drop characteristics of an indirect evaporative cooler made of paper/plastic film were investigated under both dry and wet conditions; for the purpose of comparison, an indirect evaporative cooler made of plastic film was also tested. Our results show that the indirect evaporative efficiencies under a wet condition are greater than those under a dry condition, and the efficiencies of the paper/plastic sample (109% to 138%) are greater than those (67% to 89%) of the plastic sample; in addition, the wet-surface, indirect evaporative efficiencies of the paper/plastic sample are 32% to 36% greater than those of the plastic sample. Further, the wet-surface pressure drops of the paper/plastic sample are 13% to 23% larger than those of the plastic sample, and this might have been caused by the surface roughness of the samples. A rigorous heat-transfer analysis revealed that, for the plastic sample, 30% to 37% of the wet channels remained dry, whereas all of the channels were wet for the paper/plastic sample.

건성안 증후군의 피내침 치료에 대한 임상연구 동향 (Trend of Clinical Trials for Intradermal Acupuncture Treatment on Dry Eye Syndrome)

  • Objectives : The aim of this study is to review the trend of clinical trials conducted with the intradermal acupuncture treatment on dry eye syndrome. Methods : Through 4 foreign online databases(PubMed, Cochrane Library, EMBASE, and CNKI) and 3 domestic online databases(NDSL, RISS, and OASIS), we searched for clinical studies performed acupuncture treatment for dry eye syndrome from 2000 to 2020. Only randomized controlled trials(RCT) were selected and analyzed with the research method. Results : A total of 4 studies were reviewed. Cuanzu(攢竹, BL2), Taiyang(太陽, EX-HN5), and Sibai(四白, ST2) were the most frequently used acupoints in the studies. Among the evaluation indexes, Schirmer I test(SIT), tear film break-up time(BUT) were the most frequently used outcomes. In the most of the 4 studies, intradermal acupuncture treatment showed significant therapeutic effects for dry eye syndrome. Conclusions : These results suggest that it is necessary to develop more detailed standards for intradermal acupuncture treatment method as the method of intradermal acupuncture is getting more diverse, and objective tools are needed to evaluating dry eye syndrome.

Cupric oxide thin film as an efficient photocathode for photoelectrochemical water reduction

  • Preparing various types of thin films of oxide semiconductors is a promising approach to fabricate efficient photoanodes and photocathodes for hydrogen production via photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting. In this work, we investigate the feasibility of an efficient photocathode for PEC water reduction of a p-type oxide semiconductor cupric oxide (CuO) thin film prepared via a facile method combined with sputtering Cu metallic film on fluorine-doped thin oxide (FTO) coated glass substrate and subsequent thermal oxidation of the sputtered Cu metallic film in dry air. Characterization of the structural, optical, and PEC properties of the CuO thin film prepared at various Cu sputtering powers reveals that we can obtain an optimum CuO thin film as an efficient PEC photocathode at a Cu sputtering power of 60 W. The photocurrent density and the optimal photocurrent conversion efficiency for the optimum CuO thin film photocathode are found to be -0.3 mA/cm2 and 0.09% at 0.35 V vs. RHE, respectively. These results provide a promising route to fabricating earth-abundant copper-oxide-based photoelectrode for sunlight-driven hydrogen generation using a facile method.

축.수산식품 중 미생물 분석을 위한 건조필름법 평가 (Evaluation of Dry Rehydratable Film Method for Enumeration of Microorganisms in Meat, Dairy and Fishery Products)

  • 식품의 안전성 평가에 사용되는 주요 지표 미생물들의 검출 시험법 중에서 전통적인 미생물 시험법과 신속 검출법인 건조 필름법에 의한 미생물 시험법 간의 유효성 관계를 국내 특정 축 수산식품에 존재하는 미생물을 대상으로 분석하였다. 축 수산식품 중 어묵, 게맛살, 아이스크림, 우유, 햄 시료에 대하여 두 가지 미생물 시험법을 각각 실시하였다. 일반 세균수 분석에는 plate count agar법과 $Petrifilm^{TM}$ aerobic count plate법을 비교하였고, 대장균군과 대장균의 분석에는 most probable number(MPN)법과 $Petrifilm^{TM}$ coliform count plate 및 $Petrifilm^{TM}$ E. coli/coliform count plate법을 각각 비교하였으며, 효모와 곰팡이의 분석에는 potato dextrose agar법과 $Petrifilm^{TM}$ yeast and mold count plate법을 비교하였다. 황색포도상구균의 분석에는 coagulase 시험법과 $Petrifilm^{TM}$ staph express count plate법을 비교하였다. 5가지 축 수산식품에 대한 두 방법들간 상관계수는 일반세균이 $0.990{\sim}0.999$, 대장균군이 0.979-0.987, 대장균이 0.978-0.984, 효모와 곰팡이가 0.975-0.999, 황색포도상구균이 0.999로 두 방법간 상관성이 매우 높았으며, 평균 미생물 수에 있어서도 유의적인 차이가 없는 것으로 확인되었다. 이상의 결과로부터 건조필름법이 기존의 전통적인 시험 방법을 대체할 수 있는 미생물 분석법임이 확인되었다.

소프트콘택트렌즈를 착용한 건성안의 착용초기 눈물막 안정성에 인공눈물 성분 조성이 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Artificial Tear Components on Tear Film Stability of Dry Eyes in the Early Stage of Soft Contact Lenses Wear)

  • 목적: 성분 조성이 다른 인공눈물들이 소프트콘택트렌즈를 착용한 건성안의 착용 초기 눈물막 안정성 및 자각증상에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 방법: Etafilcon A 재질의 소프트콘택트렌즈를 착용한 50안의 건성안에 성분 조성이 다른 3종의 인공눈물 용액 및 식염수를 각각 점안하고 비침습성 눈물막 파괴시간(NIBUT)를 인공눈물 점안한 직후부터 30분까지 5분 간격으로 측정하였고, 점안 30분후의 순목 횟수 및 자각증상 변화를 알아보았다. 결과: 3종의 인공눈물 모두 식염수보다 NIBUT를 더 크게 증가시켰다. 인공눈물 점안 직후의 NIBUT 증가 효과는 점성조절제가 포함된 인공눈물에서 가장 컸으며, 효과지속 시간은 계면활성제와 점성조절제가 모두 포함된 인공눈물이 가장 길었다. 순목 횟수는 인공눈물 용액과 식염수 점안시 모두 통계적으로 유의한 변화가 없었다. 자각적 증상은 인공눈물 및 식염수 점안으로 모두 통계적으로 유의하게 향상되었으며 대부분의 용액에 의해 건조감, 이물감, 피곤감, 뻑뻑함, 눈시림 증상의 향상이 나타났다. 점안 30분 후에는 인공눈물 점안전의 자각증상과 유사한 수준으로 복귀하였다. 결론: 건성안의 소프트콘택트렌즈 착용 초기 자각 증상은 인공눈물과 식염수 모두 완화시켜주지만 눈물막의 안정성에 미치는 효과는 함유 성분에 따라 차이가 있음을 밝혔다. 본 연구결과를 통하여 콘택트렌즈 착용 건성안의 착용 초기 안구건조증 개선을 위해서는 적절한 인공눈물의 선택이 필요함을 제안한다.

Fabricated SWCNT-PEDOT Hybrid Flim Using by SAW-ED and Their Optoelectronic Properties

  • SAW-ED를 이용하는 박막공정 기술을 통하여 나노레벨의 SWCNT 와 PEDOT의 thin film 및 hybrid화된 film구조를 얻을 수 있었다. SWCNT와 전도성고분자와의 hybridization을 통해 균일상의 표면 morphology를 갖는 고전도성 투명 필름을 제작하고, 이들의 전기광학적 성질을 확인하였다. SAW-ED를 이용하는 박막공정 기술은 나노입자 및 나노구조물의 박막화 패턴화를 포함하는 새로운 deposition 기술로서의 응용성을 가지고 있으며, 본 연구에서는 SWCNT와 전도성고분자를 이용하여 이를 확인하였다.
