고속철도 운전직무의 휴먼에러 감축방안을 위한 실증적 연구 (An Empirical Study on method to Reduce of Human Error of High-Speed Train Drivers)

  • This study tried to propose plan to prevent human error of railroad driver among human error of railroad worker which takes great share in railroad accident. For this, in order to maintain correlation between the accident actually occurred after the opening of high-speed railroad and experience of accident that did not happened, survey on respondent was analyzed by conducting survey on KTX captain who is working in driving work of high-speed railroad, and instruction management team manager who manages KTX captain and captain. This thesis classified the factors by human factor, job factor, environment factor, organization factor, and established human error management model by comparing and analyzing how each factors have spatial interrelations with a railroad accident. The purpose of this study is to contribute to make safe railroad, and reliable railroad by preventing human error accident by minimizing human error of high-speed railroad drivers, and improving driving workers to cope accurately and fast with irregularities through various institutional improvement, improvement of driving facilities, improvement of operating room environment, and improvement of education system.

자율주행 드라이빙 시뮬레이터용 IMU 센서 에뮬레이터 (IMU Sensor Emulator for Autonomous Driving Simulator)

  • 자율주행 기술 개발에 있어서 드라이빙 시뮬레이터의 활용은 사고 환경에 대한 다양한 테스트를 단시간에 효과적으로 수행 가능하게 하여 개발 비용 및 노력을 획기적으로 줄일 수 있다. 그러나 드라이빙 시뮬레이터는 실제 환경과 차이가 존재한다는 심각한 단점이 존재하므로 드라이빙 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 개발된 자율주행 알고리즘이 실제 차량 시스템에 직접 적용시킬 때 큰 차이가 발생하는 문제가 있다. 이러한 문제는 Sim2Real 문제로 정의되며, 시나리오, 센서 모델링, 차량 동역학 등으로 구분할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 Sim2Real 문제 중에서 IMU센서에 대해서 Sim2Real 문제 해결 방안에 대한 연구를 수행한다. 실제 환경과 에뮬레이터된 가상 IMU 센서의 차이를 줄이기 위해서 IMU 센서의 정밀 오차 모델링을 통한 센서 에뮬레이터 기술에 대해 소개한다. Bias, Scale Factor, Misalignmnet, Random Walk에 따른 오차를 가상 IMU 센서 등급별로 모델링하고 이를 실제 IMU 센서의 등급에 따른 오차 지표와 비교함으로써 IMU 센서의 Sim2Real 문제를 완화한다.

  • We have development the electronic ballast for metal halide discharge (MHD) lamp. The ballast consists of the boost pre-converter for power factor correction (PFC), a flyback a converter, half-bridge inverter and ignitor. To reject acoustic resonance phenomena, we have designed electronic ballast driving with the low frequency square wave.   • An urban railway vehicle has a characteristics such as that a lot of passenger use it and the major of passenger is standee. The ride comfort of standee is greatly influenced by the lateral dynamic characteristics of vehicle. So the lateral vibration is important factor for the improvement of ride comfort. In this study, vibration test of railway vehicle is carried out under the same condition of field driving to find out the major factor of vibration. By considering the test results under the various driving condition, the vibrational characteristics of vehicle is verified.

DRIVER BEHAVIOR WITH ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL

  • As an important and relatively easy to implement technology for realizing Intelligent Transportation Systems(ITS), Adaptive Cruise Control(ACC) automatically adjusts vehicle speed and distance to a preceding vehicle, thus enhancing driver comfort and safety. One of the key issues associated with ACC development is usability and user acceptance. Control parameters in ACC should be optimized in such a way that the system does not conflict with driving behavior of the driver and further that the driver feels comfortable with ACC. A driving simulator is a comprehensive research tool that can be applied to various human factor studies and vehicle system development in a safe and controlled environment. This study investigated driving behavior with ACC for drivers with different driving styles using the driving simulator. The ACC simulation system was implemented on the simulator and its performance was evaluated first. The Driving Style Questionnaire(DSQ) was used to classify the driving styles of the drivers in the simulator experiment. The experiment results show that, when driving with ACC, preferred headway-time was 1.5 seconds regardless of the driving styles, implying consistency in driving speed and safe distance. However, the lane keeping ability reduced, showing the larger deviation in vehicle lateral position and larger head and eye movement. It is suggested that integration of ACC and lateral control can enhance driver safety and comfort even further.

운전행동 분석을 통한 위험운전행동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Dangerous Driving Behaviors by Driver Behavior Analysis)

  • 최근 교통사고 주요 원인인 인간행동(인적요인)에 대해 관심이 높아졌으며 운전행동분석 도구인 DBQ(Driver Behavior Questionnaire)를 활용한 운전행동(Driving Behavior)에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 국내에서 진행된 선행연구는 분석대상이 연구원이나 군 공무원으로 한정되며 분석방법은 요인분석 및 회귀분석을 통해 이루어졌다. 이에 본 연구에서는 일반운전자의 운전행동이 위험운전에 미치는 영향요인을 파악하고 이들의 영향관계를 규명하고자 한다. 연구의 범위는 운전경력이 있는 일반운전자를 대상으로 DBQ설문을 실시하여 300부의 유효 표본수를 분석하였으며, 선행연구 고찰을 통해 교통사고의 주요 요인을 DBQ에서 측정가능한 'Lapse, Mistake, Violation' 세 가지속성으로 도출하고 구조방정식 모형을 통한 위험운전행동 모형을 구축하였다. 또한, 위험운전군별 차이를 확인하기 위하여 다중집단분석을 활용하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 'Lapse, Mistake, Violation 요인은 위험운전행동에 영향을 미칠 것이다'라는 가설검증 결과 모든 요인의 통계적 유의성이 확인되었다. 위험운전행동에 미치는 영향정도는 Violation 0.464, Lapse 0.383, Mistake 0.158 순으로 나타났으며 영향을 가장 많이 미치는 요인이 Violation으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 'Lapse, Mistake, Violation 요인이 위험운전행동에 미치는 영향은 위험군에 따라 다를 것이다'라는 가설검증 결과 Lapse 요인이 위험운전행동에 미치는 영향력이 차이가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구결과는 위반행동 Violation과 부주의한 실수 Lapse를 고려한 교통사고 예방 프로그램 및 교육도입에 기초자료로 활용 가능할 것이다.

일부지역에서 구급차운전자의 구급차 안전운전 운행행태에 관한 연구 (A Study on Behavioral Factors for the Safely of Ambulance Driving)

  • This is the first Korea study to evaluate the effects od the safety of ambulance driving and the occurrence of ambulance traffic accidents and to provide basic informaion for the description of various factors to reduce the ambulance traffic accidents. The major insturment of this study were Krean Self-Analysis Driver Opinionnaire. Questionnaire contains 8 items which measure driver's opinions or attitudes : driving courtesy, emotion, traffic law, speed, vehicle conditions, the use of drugs, high-risk behaviors, and human factors. To take the analysis of data, the total of 350 divers were investigated ambulance divers and others in Taejon City and others (6 City) from 1996. 1. July to 1996. 31. July. The data were analyzed by the descriptive statistics and the logistic regression - path analysis - with SPSS and SAS package program. The result are as follows : 1. There was desirable attitude group(16.2%) and undesirable attitude group(17.6%) on safety ambulance driving. 2. It have suggested that risk factors of ambulance traffic accidents much affected with emotion and speed control on safety ambulance driving < Y(Accdient) = -2.64 + 0.57 $X_1$ (Emotion Control) + 0.30 $X_2$(Seed control) + E > and motor traffic acident much affected with emotion control and high-risk behavior on safety driving < Y(Accident) = -1.11 + 0.33 $X_1$(Emotion Control) + 0.29 $X_2$(High-risk Behvior) + E > 4. The primary emphassis of ambulance drivers was make us realized that improthatnt factors on safety ambulance driving were 1)making way for emergent ambulance, 2)driver's career, 3)The ability of emergency medical technics, and the knowledge or under standing of ambulance way difficut(or easy) of accdess. 5. Almost 96.6% of respondents have agreed to necessity of emergency medical technics for ambulance drivers. 6. Almost 94.6% of respondents have consented to necessity of emergtency medical technicians for ambulance driving. 7. It have suggested that the proportion of traffic accident proportion by desitable attitude group(16.7%) was much less than that of undesirable attitude group(30.8%) on safety ambulance driving(P < 0.05)/Ps) Accidents are unplanned, unforesen incidents which can lead to harmful or unfortunate outcomes, Collisons are not accidents, since the basic cause of the majority of collisons invovles high-risk human behavior. Although there are many factors which contribute to accident causation, four basic factors seem to predominate in most traffic related situations. These four factors include: the human factor, the vehicle factor, the environmental factors and destination factor(Peto G. et al. 1995).

성토지반에 타입된 H형강 말뚝의 지지거동 (Bearing Capacity of Driven H-Piles in Embankment)

  • To find axial and lateral responses of impact-driven H piles in embankment(SM), the H piles are instrumented with electric strain gages, dynamic load test is performed during driving, and then the damage of strain gages is checked simultaneously. Axially and laterally static load tests are performed on the same piles after one to nine days as well. Then load-settlement behavior is measured. Furthermore, to find the set-up effect in H pile, No. 4, 16, 26, and R6 piles are restriked about 1, 2, and 14 days after driving. As results, ram height and pile capacity obtained from impact driving control method become 80cm and 210.3∼242.3ton, respectively. At 15 days after driving, allowable bearing capacity by CAPWAP analysis, which 2.5 of the factor of safety is applied for ultimate bearing capacity, increases 10.8%. Ultimate bearing capacity obtained from axially static load test is 306∼338ton. This capacity is 68.5∼75.7% at yield force of pile material and is 4∼4.5 times of design load. Allowable bearing capacity using 2 of the factor of safety is 153∼169ton. Initial stiffness response of the pile is 27.5ton/mm. As the lateral load increases, the horizontal load-settlement behaves linearly to which the lateral load reaches up to 17ton. This reason is filled with sand in the cavity formed between flange and web during pile driving. As the result of reading with electric strain gages, flange material of pile is yielded at 19ton in horizontal load. Thus allowable load of this pile material is 9.5ton when the factor of safety is 2.0. Allowable lateral displacement of this pile corresponding to this load is 23∼36mm in embankment.

PDP TV의 sustain/reset 구동전원 공급을 위한 1단방식의 역률보상형 AC-to-DC 컨버터 (Single-stage Power Factor Corrected AC-to-DC Converter for sustain/reset Driving Power Supply of PDP TV)

  • PDP TV의 전력 효율을 향상시키기 위해서는 PDP의 구동과정에서 발생하게 되는 불필요한 전력소모와 AC 입력으로부터 원하는 DC를 얻기 위한 과정 중에 발생하는 전력 소모를 최소화하여야 한다. 일반적인 PDP 구동을 위한 입력 전원단은 2단 구조의 역률 보상형 컨버터를 채용하고 있으며, PDP 구동시 전력소모가 가장 큰 서스테인 드라이버와 리셋 회로의 구동전원을 공급하기 위한 별도의 DC-to-DC 컨버터를 필요로 한다. 그러나 이러한 회로의 구현은 저가의 PDP를 요구하는 시장 상황에 유연하게 대처하는데 많은 어려움을 준다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 최소의 전력 변환단계를 가지도록 서스테인과 리셋 회로의 전원 공급이 가능한 1단방식의 역률보상형 AC-to-DC 컨버터를 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템은 1단방식의 입력전원부 구성을 통해 전력 변환단을 최소화하여 전력 변환 중에 발생하는 손실을 최소화하며, PDP 서스테인/리셋 드라이버의 구동전압을 직접 공급하는 형태로 구성하여 시스템 부피의 감소, 원가 절감을 이룰 수 있다.

운전자의 특성에 따른 자동차 운전 수행도 분석 (Analysis of Driving Performances on the Characteristics of Drivers)

  • Driving performance is characterized by many things such as driver's experience period, age, ability of information processing and reaction time of control devices and so forth. However, each factor of driving performance is needed to help and screen a poor driver for safe driving. In this paper, driving performance was estimated by reaction of manipulating brake, accelerator, steering wheel and speed. Subjects were grouped by experience of accident and age. Combinations of every group were analysed. For all the dependent variables, only steering wheel and speed were shown to have significant difference, which could be regarded as visual information of speed and direction were the important factors to drive safely. Especially for tile elderly, it is needed to enhance their ability of visual information processing that is to be decreased with aging. Therefore driving simulator to train and screen the poor driver should be studied.
