  • A literature survey has been reported of the systems analysis on the liquid rocket engines. The analysis tools are mainly about the calculation of the rocket engine performance at the early days. However recent trend shows that researchers try to develop an integrated environment of distributed analysis tools for faster and cheaper analysis. This article presents the systems analysis results of the liquid rocket engine of gas generator cycle using the published mass estimating model. The specific impulse change for various thrust to weight ratio agrees qualitatively well with the published data.

  • It is known that one can generate functions distributed according to ${\gamma}$-fold Wiener measure. So we could estimate the average case errors in a similar way as in Monte-Carlo method. Hence we study the basic properties of the generator of random functions. n addition, because the ${\gamma}$-fold Wiener process is truly infinitely dimensional and a computer can only handle finitely dimensional spaces, we study in this paper, the properties of generator for an m-dimensional approximation of the ${\gamma}$-fold Wiener process.

  • The CTE (conditional tail expectation) is a useful risk management measure for a diversified investment portfolio that can be generally estimated by using a transformed univariate distribution. Hong et al. (2016) proposed a multivariate CTE based on multivariate quantile vectors, and explored its characteristics for multivariate normal distributions. Since most real financial data is not distributed symmetrically, it is problematic to apply the CTE to normal distributions. In order to obtain a multivariate CTE for various kinds of joint distributions, distribution fitting methods using copula functions are proposed in this work. Among the many copula functions, the Clayton, Frank, and Gumbel functions are considered, and the multivariate CTEs are obtained by using their generator functions and parameters. These CTEs are compared with CTEs obtained using other distribution functions. The characteristics of the multivariate CTEs are discussed, as are the properties of the distribution functions and their corresponding accuracy. Finally, conclusions are derived and presented with illustrative examples.

  • On modern computer culture, the high quality data is required in multimedia systems. So, the technology of data compression fur data transmission is necessary now. This paper presents the pipeline architecture for the low and column address generator of 2D DCT/IDCT (Discrete Cosine Transform/Inverse Discrete Cosine Transform. In the proposed architecture, the area of hardware is reduced by using the DA (distributed arithmetic) method and applies the concepts of pipeline to the parallel architecture. As a result the designed pipeline of the low and column address generator for 2D DCT/IDCT architecture is implemented with an efficiency and high speed compared with the non-pipeline architecture.

  • In this paper, air gap flux density is calculated by permeance model which can consider the effects of the stator slot and the salient pole shape of the salient synchronous generator. No load Electro-motive force(EMF) of the short-pitched and distributed stator winding is also calculated. Therefore, it's very convenient to calculate the THD of the no load EMF for the user's request, in the first design state.

  • Rapid depletion of fossil based oil, coal and gas reserves and its greater demand day by day necessitates the search for other alternatives. Severe environmental impacts caused by the fossil fire based power plants and the escalating fuel costs are the major challenges faced by the electricity supply industry. Integration of Distributed Generators (DG) especially, wind and solar systems to the grid has been steadily increasing due to the concern of clean environment. This paper focuses on a new simple and fast load flow algorithm named Backward Forward Sweep Algorithm (BFSA) for finding the voltage profile and power losses with the integration of various sizes of DG at different locations. Genetic Algorithm (GA) based BFSA is adopted in finding the optimal location and sizing of DG to attain an improved voltage profile and considerable reduced power loss. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is more efficient in finding the optimal location and sizing of DG in 15-bus radial distribution system (RDS).The authenticity of the placement of optimized DG is assured with other DG placement techniques.

  • This paper presents a method and implementation of the parallel distributed sample scrambler(DSS) in the cell-based ATM transmission environment. In the serial processing, it requires very high speed clock because the processing clock of the serial DSS is equal with the data transmission speed. In this paper, we develop a conversion method of the serial SRG(shift register generator) to 8bit parallel realization. In this case, it has a sample data processing problem which is a character of DSS. So, a theory of correction time movement is presented to solve this problem. We has developed a ASIC using this algorithm and verified the recommendation of ITU-T, I.432.

  • This paper describes a very fast rising high voltage pulse generation for studying surge phinomenon and prebreakdown of liquid dielectric by appling the traveling wave theory of the distributed circuit. This very fast rising high voltage pulse generator consists of a charging coaxial cable, a discharging switch, and a terminating resistance. As results, the rising time of pulses are about 31(nsec), which is very fast, and its duration is 950[nsec] when using 200[m] coaxial cable. The length of the coaxial cable and changing voltage can regulate the duration and the amplitude or the polarity of the pulse. When terminated the resistance, capacitor and inductor, the measured waveform corresponds with simulated waveform.

  • This paper describes the automatic generation of sequence control programs for DCS(Distributed Control System), PLC(Programable Logic Controller) and so on. Since there is no same manufacturing process, it is difficult to standardize sequence programs. We propose the automatic sequence control program generator which is CAD software using knowledge engineering technique.
